#University of Michigan Computer Science vs Georgia Tech Computer Science

It’s definitely Georgia Tech if we’re just talking about CS
I wouldn’t say definitely
UMich is crazy for cs too
The difference betweeb the two isnt big enough that other factors should be ignored
True but Georgia Tech is better
Plus the location gives it a boost
There’s gonna be a ton of opportunities in Atlanta
Ann Arbor is an awesome place but it is a college town
So the opportunities aren’t gonna be as plentiful
I think the location is gonna provide better internship opportunities
And research might be level but I wouldn’t be surprised if Georgia tech has the edge in that too simply because it’s dedicated to tech/stem
As of right now Ga Tech is better. However UMICH is now locking their CS which will raise their CS rankings significantly
how will locking CS program raise Michigan's CS rankings?
Maybe he means locking in?
I still think that even if UMich catches up to Georgia Tech in CS rankings
Atlanta > Ann Arbor for what the OP is looking for
Internships/Job Opportunities will be better there
is it easier to get in Georgia tech CS vs in UMich CS or vice versa?
Idk tbh both seem pretty competitive
CS in general is pretty competitive
Cause it's a significantly more competitive admissions process
location wise GaTech is far better too
Ok
both are the same for career/academic/whatever else just consider where you'd rather live and if you want an engineering school vs more well rounded school
How r u still deciding? Neither has taken ppl of their waitlist
