GPA Weighted: 3.7408
AP: 6
Extracurriculars: BSA - I should be able to get the highest rank of Eagle Scout by the end of my senior year
Other thing: My school district has a special Spanish program where we took lots of our classes in Spanish. Once I finish my 13th year of Spanish as a senior I should have The New York State Seal of Biliteracy, idk if this will help with college admissions though
Colleges I'm looking at right now:
Safety: Adelphi
Target: UMiami, UNC at Chapel Hill
My guidance Counselor recommended me these but this was before I got my SAT score: SUNY Stony Brook, SUNY Binghamton, SUNY Buffalo
Someone else recommended these: UPitt, UF, UAB
I would like to know if I have a chance at these colleges, and if there are other colleges I could get into.
I am very interested in the science, especially biology. I'm thinking about going into health which is a very broad field so I'm having trouble thinking about what to do. Maybe dentistry like my dad or working in a hospital setting. I would like to stay on the east coast, that's why I've been looking at New York since I live here, and Florida since I have lots of family down there. I don't know anything about pretty much any college, and I've only toured CUNY Hunter and Adelphi, but I'm pretty sure I don't want to go to CUNY Hunter, and Adelphi is a safety. Right now I'm scheduled to tour UMiami in a few months, and it's also the one I'm most interested in so far. I prefer to not go to school in the middle of big cities like CUNY Hunter cause I find them really ugly. I don't care about how big the school is though. I'm scheduled to take the ACT in May, I'm pretty sure Ill do better than my SAT score cause this time I'm actually gonna study.
