I'd say brown cause of the flexibility of the open curriculum if you intend to switch. Brown is also highly ranked as a premed and for cs-econ

uhhh based on a quick search:

yale has no official premed track but you can take all the courses necessary for admissions to med school. Yale cs is abysmal from an objective research standpoint but their reputation carries far for software engineering.

#

their econ is pretty good tho

#

Dukes premed track is one of the best in the nation (t3 usually, best admissions rate iirc). Cs is ok but best between your three options. Econ is also ok (after yale, before brown)

#

brown is worst for cs and econ (idk cs-econ combined as a co-major). Brown is ranked pretty well for premed but worse than Duke

#

all superb schools tho, u cant really go wrong with any other than yale maybe not offering an actual premed track

#

I would go with the more minute details like the amount of support you would get from the faculty, student body vibes, campus, food, quality of life, etc

#

if you have any questions about Duke you can send them to me. I am mech e cs at Duke and my sister was premed and prelaw

Duke is the best option here. It’s better than yale in CS and yale + brown for premed. The only thing it loses in is econ to yale & brown.

#

plus duke has the some of the best dining hall food if that matters at all

#

If you’re a prestige simp, go to Yale

#

If you want to be a little flexible and not 100% sure if you wanna do cs-econ, go to duke. If you end up wanting to switch to premed, you’ll be at one of the best pre med unis in the U.S. already

#

Brown is a decent mix of prestige, flexibility, and okay cs. They also have p good premed but nothing compared to duke.
