Vanderbilt Ingram vs. UVA Jefferson

Intended major: CS + political science or public policy
Similarities: I have the Ingram scholarship to Vanderbilt (tuition + housing + 8wk. funded summer community service project) and the UVA Jefferson scholarship (full ride + summer abroad). I would make money from the Jefferson scholarship but the cost to attend is similarly mitigated for both schools.

Vanderbilt Pros:
Ranked higher
Closer to my home (2 hrs)
Really tight knit, service oriented scholarship community.
Great research opportunities for CS + social sciences

School 1 Cons:
The Ingram program requires hours worth of meetings each week and a 50 page proposal for the summer project
Whole summer spent working
More difficult to double major
CS program isn't great
Less Democratic organizing in Tennessee

UVA Pros:
Beautiful campus
Good social life
Honors dorm
"No strings attached" scholarship
Easy to double major
3 + 1 Masters program
Good CS program
Great Jefferson alumni connections

School 2 Cons:
Hard to get to
Less course rigor
Lower ranked

Tiebreaking considerations:
Is Vanderbilt notably more prestigious UVA Jefferson scholarship?

can't speak on Poli Sci side of things since I am a pure cs person
For CS prestigous isn't important enless you attend one of the big schools, Stanford cmu mit cal just to name a few, and they only play a huge impact on your first few internships anyway. If you look at csrankings.org, a famous website known to rank cs schools based off their publiciations, UVA is ranked much higher than Vandy in AI( the field you want to focus). For course rigor I feel that it's up to you since you can take more upper level courses making it more rigor for your self. Enless the poli sci has a drastic gap, I would choose UVA over Vandy because it offers a stronger cs program in the area of your focus while providing easier time to double major, also not having to spend your summer studying and making money for going to school is a +. Congrats on getting 2 scholarships, you problly will end up very successful no matter which school you choose to attend.
