CS + x has the same opportunities but it is hard to transfer in

I do not recommend coming here for IS if you want to do CS

They are very different subjects

#

And also we do not have good dorms lol 💀

And yes we have a lot of Asian ppl

Especially Chinese international students ( I am one)

Rochester also has a good population of them too

IS is a major more focused on data ethics, data collection, and data usage

#

You won't be doing any hard programming

#

Like a CS major would

Also in terms of classes

#

You'll be taking a lot less rigorous classes and it will be harder to find CS jobs

You dont even take calc as an IS major iirc
