In terms of CS programs, which university is better?
My main concern is that the campus / social life in Amherst will be boring compared to Boston, is it more boring than Boston?
Beyond that, which university is better for career opportunities?

Then Northeastern due to it being in a City around a bunch of other colleges as it will be more fun and convenient for you, then UMass Amherst

Basically it’s either name or location or both that will get your foot in the door for CS at these top tier schools, either choice you make is a good choice, but one is more convenient than the other and always consider the cost factor to work in your favor, that’s it from me

i would say for CS it's northeastern > umass amherst > BU

Northeastern is great if you want to go into industry
large school with arguably the best co-op in the country, in one of the best cities in the country for jobs
Like souppy said, prob number 1 for that
UMass amherst is good, and if its significantly cheaper than the other two, I would pick that
BU is hard to reccomend over NEU because afaik NEU is just better, but I guess BU is better if u want more of a theoretical vibe

NEU probably comes first. You shouldn't be worried about social life at ZooMass. Unless you got a full ride at BU or something, I'd suggest you make your choice between UMass and NEU.
As others said, NEU's co-op program is amazing. But UMass Amherst's CS is also top-tier, campus life is nice, food is possibly the best in the country...
If I were you, I'd choose the cheapest option between the two.
