**Please tell me on what to improve in my ecs and stats, and please recommend me some schools that you think I could get into **
Location: I go to competitive NorCal high school near Sacramento/Fresno area. Decent amount of people go to UCS and other competitive schools
Major: CS and probably philosophy
GPA: 3.89 UW - but I am trying to get all As this semester to get it up to at least a 3.93. Taking only 1 ap this year
CourseLoad: 1 AP in the summer, 5 Aps junior year, 6 aps senior year
Cost: around 50k -70k
ECS:
Music:
I play clarinet : Accepted to two prestigious music bands, one being the capitol section representing the entire Sacramento region and the other representing California as a whole, accepted to Sac Youth Symphony, Premiere level (Highest), 2nd chair - looking to get it up. Will take band for 4 years, and already section leader.
Next year I will try to get into all-state, will probably get in, all-state is very prestigious in california and am trying to get to concert or symphonic band, will compete in international clarinet association high school solo competition, have a good shot at winning
CS (a bit lacking):
USACO gold, coding tutoring. Imma try to get more cs ecs and work on usaco so i can maybe go plat
Others:
H4H club, I can easily get leadership position next year
Science Olympiad Treasurer
Volunteer Hours > 100, but I'm trying to get that up as well.
Chief Executive Technology/Website manager and overall officer of journalism organization that reports on modern-day news reports
Dream Colleges I have been thinking of:
Princeton, Carnegie Mellon - for CS, UC Berkeley, LA, and all UCS, UChicago, MIT (unrealistic maybe), Stanford.
For safeties definitely the CSU system, but I am not really knowledgeable on that system so if anyone in the comments knows about it, please let me know 🙏
