ucla is cheaper because it won't be that cost if you don't include the meal plan. also you are guaranteed the tuition you see, so no annual increases like other schools do.

if you are looking for social life and parties though, ucla is the way to go

it's up there with UAlabama, USC, and Dartmouth in terms of fraternity life. It's the really the quintessential Southern CA school like you see in movies

for UCLA, the CS major is actually not big compared to other UCs

#

its most in demand majors include Psych/Public Affairs (Social Welfare, Communications, etc)/Cinema

#

and if you're into research, GTech and UCSD are far superior
