Location/Region: West Coast preferred, but looking for East Coast suggestions too
Major: Computer Science
GPA: 3.97 UW and weighted right now, first semester almost over and I have all A's right now including APS so likely 3.98-3.99 UW soon not sure of weighted, prob around 4.1?
Test Scores: 1260 PSAT blobfear studying w/ Khan and books for March SAT but prob test optional for some schools?
I’m shooting for 1450 and making progress.
Curriculum: Idk
Size: Medium to big, 4-5k+ students minimum
Costs: Parents are able to pay for full tuition
Schools you're currently looking at:
Reaches: USC, UCLA, UC Berkeley, UW Seattle (in-state but HARD), Boston College
Targets/Safeties: Santa Clara (both parents alumni), Cal Poly SLO, LMU, UCSB, UCSD, Chapman, Syracuse (only east coast school I've really looked into and counselor recommended)
*My school has good relationship with Santa Clara and Cal Poly and most students get in but CS is hard so idk
Additional: Preferably looking for schools with hopefully good connections for CS regarding internships and job placement.

Mainly looking for more safeties and targets, thanks so much!

Assuming so, apply to all the UCs. Like u said Cal Poly SLO is great, I would also add San Diego State

#

For outside the west coast, I would say UMass Amherst, UMinn, Penn State, Pitt, ASU are all great options

If you are willing at all to go to a small school, Kettering University requires 5 internships to graduate, 8 of which are baked into a 4 year plan. 99%+ job placement within 6 months. T20 for return on investment

#

Penn State is good

#

ASU is always good to throw in as a safety for CS
