ahh yeah i want to go into ux/ui too! i’ve actually applied to a lot of general unis whose design programs kind of integrate that
if you want, there’s always an option of taking a gap year and finding other schools that match or you can try to make do with the schools you have now

and apparently u can take comp sci classes at brown
so i think ill try that and integrate my comp sci and art knowledge into UX :>

i tried to look at other accepted students to gauge what they look for!! also i think risd rlly emphasizes creative ideas + artistic voice in ur portfolio rather than having everything look super realistic (although i did include two still lifes to show i could still do them). i didn’t attend any pre colleges for art

i did not go to precollege and didnt knwo much about them until i applied. i highly recommend doing some art competitions although they do not put that into factor for ur application. doing some art contests can help u get scholarsbips cuz they dont give merit based scholarships otherwise
