There is a free intercampus shuttle that goes between the Evanston and Chicago campus NU both operates, but even that takes forty minutes, and you may not be able to enter the bus if it's too crowded.

And if you take the CTA, it usually takes about an hour.

My favorite aspect of it is that you get to take more classes and it helps you double major if you wanna do that.

As a transfer student, it would have been nearly impossible for me to double major if I went to a school with a semester system, but at NU, I was able to do that and also have space for some elective classes.
