I have no clue what’s a good or bad sat score anymore. When I was in 6th grade, I got a 1320 on the SAT but my parents said that was pretty bad.
During a summer program, I met someone who got a perfect 1600 in 7th grade. My parents keep comparing me with that kid, which really sucks.

It was really intensive. We did a lot on gaussian surfaces, there was a ton of diffeq, vector calc, celestial mechanics, computational astrophysics

we wrote our own orbital determination codes with python

and those were huge

you also get a ton of hands on experience with the research grade telescopes
