Other options are a top LAC / mid-tier schools at about 20k less; much less recognition but potentially less important? Out of state everywhere, sadly, so these are just about my choices. Hoping to talk myself into Cornell, but the price tag stings.

Only one’s sort of at Cornell’s level. Got Pomona (aforementioned top LAC) at a somewhat cheaper cost, though I’m worried about its lack of a STEM focus. Then a T5 (in the UK) school, UWaterloo maybe in the pipeline, couple of top-tier waitlists (treating as rejections), and slew of mid-level stuff (UMD, Virginia Tech, UCSD, etc.).
