for those who applied in first / priority rounds for HKU, HKUST, & CUHK - results should be out by the end of january (once again, there is no set date for the results as they roll out the results as they get to you)

so far I got HKUST (December 7) and HKU (January 16)

If you do not get your result by january end though, basically assume you got deferred (thats what CUHK says atleast, idk if the other HK universities are the same)

Also, just had my CUHK interview, it was peculiar though as it was more academic than personal unlike my MIT interview. There were two professors and they asked me coding questions and then two probability questions (I messed up one of the probability ones but I did swell for the rest).
