doing it this semester actually, honestly my favorite science class in all of hs ngl; it's basically the thermodynamics and kinetics of general chemistry (or AP chem) but proven, so you go through the physics of it and the quantum chem, also a good amount of basic integral calculus is involved (although knowledge of diff eq and multivariable help [i obviously assume that it is much harder at a top school though])

for a lot of premeds they get clapped because they are used to just pure memorization in biology courses which does not work

i mean you basically should approach it like how you approach math or physics; develop deep understanding and then do a shit ton of practice problems and make sure you can apply it to various scenarios
