Yeah last year decisions were released on Jan 28th. Also, the website states decisions for ED and EA will be out in late January but the HU application portal shows mid-to-late December. Are you sure decisions will be released in late January? Also, late January is too late for ED applicants, don’t you think?

I applied for EA and I also saw where they said December but many persons have said January, maybe they'll send some off this month and then some later.

It’s late January mentioned in their website. Last year decisions for EA applicants were released on 28th Jan. But I’m concerned about ED decision date since 28th Jan would be too late for ED applicants.

Yeah, by financial aid you mean scholarship? But that isn’t finaid, that’s scholarship. Did you get 17k or 19k as scholarship?

Not this week, it mentioned aid will be coming out in the coming days(no mention of any exact date)

Btw the portal asks to select one of the options 1) I accept the admission offer 2)I decline the admission offer. I really really want to attend Howard but if I accept the offer now, will I still be eligible for finaid or will they think I can afford the rest of COA. I badly need at least 9k as finaid, can’t commit till then

I did the optional essay and still got 15k so dw abt it

also in terms of finaid, I think u should be able to see ur offer before you have to accept or decline it, and if all else fails contact the admissions office wouldn't hurt

Isfaa shows awaiting in my HU portal as well, but it shows ‘Satisfied’ in Bison web portal. Better check the Bison web portal to ensure if finaid office has received your ISFAA/Fafsa or not.

Student ID should be mentioned in the acceptance letter. You’ll need to set up a new password after logging in with a temporary password which follows your birth date in this pattern mm/dd/yyyy.

I don’t know what your EFC is. But if you think you need aid, do reach out to the finaid office. Last year early accepted students were informed of need-based aid a month after receiving their acceptance letter. Expecting the same delay for us as well. If you haven’t submitted Fafsa/Isfaa, email them ASAP.

If your isfaa requirement shows ‘satisfied’, you have done your part for need-based aid. Email the finaid office( [email protected]) to know when need-based aid will be available for internationals.
