#All Cal States (2022-2023)
1 messages · Page 2 of 1
for CS? for sure
oh no it says closed in general
not even just for CS
my dumbass didnt apply to UCSC UCR UCD or SDSU and SJSU or like CSUF/CSLA
UCSC ig i didnt bc my dad wouldn't let me go but the rest i should've
i pray it doesn't matter in the end but no $ is a problem
thats crazy
but instead of posting random shit
you could convince me that my huge mistake was not a huge mistake
You didn’t make any mistakes tempura
Ok temper
temper
what ever you do, don't go to USCD
you wait
why EK?
so does that mean all spots for cs would already be filled?
or most of them
I've told you so many times, you know why
why
no they're giving santa clara county ppl an edge
cause its bad
i don't live in sc and a lot of ppl from my school got in 💀
just wait till feb is over, if u dont get anything, u prob got rejected
thats cause of research, research does not equal good undergrad courses or employment
EK Master
u are so so wrong
ur gonna wish u applied to ucsd
im happy i did not, and will still be happy after march
imagine being tied with Yale XD, yale for tech is not good
hey, dont get on my nerve
you keep on brining up UCSD even though iv told you multiple times i dont like it
go tritons
cause i wasn't talking to you
u butted into the convo i was having with temper a
ur convo was done
does sjsu use capped weighted for the index or just weighted?
ek master stay mad 💪
im not mad lol, just irritated
ok but ucsd is a huge dub like I'd seriously consider taking it over cal personally
why
Ear eh tate tit
don't you have this?
no
w+cap
i got in sjsu swe
prolly shoulda chose CS but wtv didnt want to take the risk
so do you only get into the specific major if you meet the threshold or would they accept ppl who are below it too
i mean you can probably only get in if youre above the threshold
otherwise it wouldnt be a threshold
Accepted to SJSU for Physics
i wanted to do comp sci
but
idk if i should just take physics and be happy
or do ASU comp sci
cuz im in city for sjsu
Do cal states not look at 9th grade?
freshman grades arent used in the gpa calculation
but they are accounted for in the A-G reqs
I checked cal polys they look at 9th grade and don’t look at mid year
ASU cs is the play if you can afford it
sjsu is OP for compsci but the OP drops off quickly beyond that
I could just double major
It’s good for business too right
Yeah I think so
Valid
got denied from long beach lol
Damn I’m sorry
its all good lol didnt want to go there anyways
decision came today?
Yesterday
sjsu physics gang (I prb wont go but hey physics woo)
yea, they email you. i think you can also do a status request through their self help service
At slo it’s A TON oos. I was surprised but there’s also a bunch of international
CSULB didnt email me, but I just checked my status and got denied
Yeah I am
SLO is like the best cal state ngl
I can c why
My dorm has people from like China, Argentina, India, etc
I can also be biased as it seems like College of Engineering here is the most diverse of all the other colleges
Yeah
I mean that’s what cal poly is known for anyways
That’s why you’d go to a polytechnic
Btw, if anyone is interested in research and looking at SLO, so far research has been pretty chill to get so far
A couple of my professors openly say what they are doing and get any interested students to join them
i just got the email now, it just comes late maybe
Sjsu didn’t even brother to put people name on the acceptance letter lmfao
It’s just says “dear fall 2023 applicant” 💀
Why were so many people waitlisted from CSULB
y'all are getting sjsu decisions? mine still says pending review
hmmph
Maybe it’s diff for transfers?
I finally got in a zoom with SDSU because they withdrew my application and they said its because I was registered at a community college (didn't take a single course though) so I only qualify as a transfer wtf
all other CSUs didnt withdraw my app only sdsu
am i buggin or is that bullshit
Did sdsu come out yet
not decisions i dont think
you get accepted?
which CSUs did u apply
u get into both? or just sjsu
i did
aerospace engineering
i was hoping they were lagging on mine bc impacted major or sum
prolly reject then
apparently mine is still "pending review of CSU eligibility"
💀
same 😭
his essays were all about kamala harris instant berkeley admit i hear
XD
wtf
why not research now
weird
well i'll email next week if i don't hear anything i guess thank you
dont email them, it took my email 5 weeks for a response
they even acknowledged this on their website where they said their email response time is extremely slow
how did you reach out?
rn i used the live chat feature on their website
My friend forgot her password and got locked out of sjsu one
💀💀💀 tech support won’t help either
L moment
long beach sent out emails
did SJSU officially send the decisions
cause i just see an email in the portal
also does anyone know when SLO releases ?
Did anybody else get rejected from Long Beach for no reason
I applied for business and my gpa is in my opinion above average and got rejected, just wanted to see if anyone is in that situation
No, they never sent an email
Late feb/early march
yea i got rejected. their acceptance rate was 31% last year so don’t take it too personally
Appreciate it
Even undergrad?
Yeah I’m a 1st year
It’s mostly undergrad so the perk is grad isn’t as competitive
they sent me a rejection email after i withdrew my app 3 weeks ago
they j power trippin don’t worry
I have not
I haven't gotten SJSU, Pomona, or Fullerton. Only Long Beach so far
my friend got waitlisted at long beach, heard that long beach has been waitlisting a lot of ppl
i should be hearing from sf state sometime this month, bc i submitted my app in november
me as well ! idk why u havent gotten anything back, they even sent me the financial letter
i live in the bay area so hopefully i get priority admission 🤞
ah they haven’t sent me anything ab financial aid yet
they accepted me in january hm
i guess they’re jus running late, not sure
they’re one of my safeties tho so it should be fine
i got pomona, sjsu, and sdsu
still waiting on slo
i hate rolling decisions makes me anxious
march 10 is what i’ve heard
ive got fullerton
:(
Check ur portal
there is no excuse for csu's to take months for admission
decisions should be out in like weeks
i been checking it daily
nothing from 3/4 of the CSUs i applied to
maybe im auto reject xd
so long as your stats were good that's all you need
Just spoke to SJSU admissions they said more decisions are coming out this week 🤞
SJSU CS came out for me today
😭 really? Im still waiting for my cs decision
patience ek
SJSU CS came out for me today too
how do you view deleted messages on the sjsu portal 😭
i accidentally deleted an important email
lmao
someone else did this too
how did they get it back
i’m sure it’ll come soon
my status was still the “application in progress” until i got decision so it doesn’t mean they’re not reviewing. good luck it’ll be here soon
what does this mean in short
youre in
admitted?
how much should they be
I am expecting close to 90 in final. Is there any minimum requirement like you have to get X/100 to be admitted
theres no minimum
just dont get any grades lower than a C
for sure okay okay.
congrats!
Thank you!
||If you need a Univ in my county, if the minimum is 90.5 You are rejected even at 90😬 That's why I thought to ask||
ive heard that many students end up getting great jobs at silicon valley tech companies
its known as the school for international kids here
Oh really. Glad to hear that.
Are you from Cal btw
ik a lot of people from india come to sjsu for masters
and its a big feeder to apple
prepares for SWE industry well
yup
this^
Wow
like ik a lot of ppl making bank who went to sjsu cs
theyre rly successful
also its rly cheap compared to other schools
so good roi
Got it
probably somewhat outdated but yea
if u want some context
the first table i mean
Thanks
Also any idea about, how competitive is SJSU (CS)
Asking in context that, if less competitive, the more average are students and things like that.
CS is def one of the most competitive majors at SJSU
so yea you're well above the average SJSU student ig
Got it
No question THE most competitive majors at SJSU
Ohhh okay okay
im pretty sure Computer engineering has a higher impaction score
How about SJSU vs MSU vs PSU vs UMN TC
Although the online rankings might say otherwise, I'd say SJSU is the best of the 4
Primarily because of the focus on teaching (not a research university)
Holy Shit. The GPA cutoff for SJSU CS is 4.3
One of the reasons why SJSU prepares you very well for SWE
And also ofc the internship and networking opportunities in the heart of Silicon Valley
assuming not local/first gen/low income
Yes, but Santa Clara County applicants get a free 0.25 GPA boost
oh yea
you mean the other univ focus more upon research
and SJSU specifically makes you perfect for the industry and Software Engineer.
exactly
is it out of 5?
yes
Most research universities focus on the theory part
Or at least make that an important part of their curriculum
SJSU is not really that
So more of like programming and stuff
Alright
Another thing about SJSU is that it's a commuter school
Meaning the student life isn't that great
Since a lot of people go home after classes rather than staying on campus
Yes
In fact, it's easier to get in for applicants who live in California, and even easier if they live in Santa Clara County (the same county as SJSU)
But there's definitely a strong indian international population as well
And lots of Indian-Americans too ofc
Like Americans of Indian origin
Making sense
Especially within the CS program
Just some of the grammar structure
hahahaha
Nice
Thank you so much! Can I also DM you in future? to get some personal context, if required, later on. before I commit to any University
Yea sure
You'd probably receive better/more responses here though
There's also https://reddit.com/r/SJSU
Yes yes. I get it. Thanks. Have a good day
Yes
Got in SDSU and CPP for Comp Sci. Any recs on which one to choose ?
Sdsu came out?
Some locals have gotten in afaik
Check the reddit thread, it has more info
Congratulations!!
Congrats on your acceptances everyone!
Both have great programs. CPP is gonna be a lot more STEM heavy and probably has more funding, whereas SDSU is very heavily sports and also basically everyone there is in greek life. I'm local to pomona and the campus is pretty, but fairly boring and pomona is a really shitty city overall. Not sure what the SDSU campus is like, though.
Similar question, but I got into SJSU and CPP for CompE and want to know what some opinions are on which is better
hello cal state chat
Ever
how so? i visited the campus and it was nice but have no idea about the surrounding area. I'm from LA so
@rugged dew and i are classmates so ill answer for him
there is basically nothing to do here
san jose is a big populace place but theres not a lot of "landmarks"
santana row, westfield, oakridge, and maaaybe great mall (though thats like 20mins drive) are the only real malls here to shop around in
communications hill is nice but it gets repetitive quickly, although if you are a nature person theres a bunch of small beautiful hikes all around the hills
and for nights out/fun stuff theres golfland and.... i dont even know
its definitely not going to be comparable to LA
im not the most social person so i might be missing some things but @rugged dew goes out/has gone out a lot and is very social so he can fill in gaps if ur still curious @fallen sierra
wdym lol
i wouldnt call sj a nightmare its nice here its just boring
how dead is it on weekends?
i would obviously be dorming and I know its a commuter school
its not really dead people go out a lot
theres just not a lot of places to go out to
so you end up going to the same places every other weekend and it gets boring quick
isnt california's great america next door
yeah
oh yeah u can go GA
levi's is also here so you can watch 9ers if ur football fan lol
tickets are a lil expensive
yeah, i've been there but i have a season pass for all cedar fair parks
should be alright
ye
are you going there right now or are you a senior in hs like ur flair says
ah k so you live nearby
yeah the campus is 15mins away lol
probably better than pamona location wise
that city is pretty dull
thanks for the answer tho
I live close to sj
The whole surrounding area is boring af
Basically have nothing going on
However
SF, Berkeley, and Oakland and stuff are only 1 hour away with BART so u have lots of options for the weekend
Does calpoly give scholarships to intl? The links given on the website are showing forbidden access
thats basically it lmao
sj boring asf
just tech buildings and a few malls
aren't there beaches?
how did they find out? like through email, status description, or portal messages
is your friend international?
no in state
Beaches in sj lamoooooo ur cracking me up
Damn they didn’t even bother to put his name it’s just “dear applicant” 💀
i mean i got accepted and mine says "dear fall 2023 applicant"
Same lamooo admission be lazy
like a 1 hour drive
sf is also a 1 hour drive if u want to go on the weekends
Lucky
Platinum pass on god
There isn't much entertainment
U have to drive at least an hour to go anywhere like enjoyable
Santa Cruz, SF etc
yup
yea
😦
i told him to apply
he didnt listen
he also got rejected by sjsu
any safeties still open?
no 3.2 gpa
he lives in SF too
ik they weight that a bit or something
ah k
but still 4.1 denied to cs
somehow i got accepted to compe with 4.17
when its impated more than cs
how come?
yeah thats my biggest con
i liked the campus when i visited but its all commmuter
yeah i really value that "college experience" too
so idk if ill go there
CPP isnt much better ive heard tho
yeah 5/5 rn
csun, sjsu, cpp, university of utah, university of cincinnati
no huge ones but good options
cal poly and ucsb fingers crossed
r u cs
nah comp e
then u should hope for ucsd
didnt apply
why
yeah ik
but i liked the others a bit better
only applied for 4
cause i got it waived
ucsb is not a safety lol
ucsb is my dream school 💀
old news
u did
But you could get thousands in scholarships, etc if u got in
i prefer cal poly, ucsb, and uci over it tho
nyu yuck
referring to the campus
the education is a W
i'd take a campus like Santa Barbara over an nyu or ucla anyday
concrete jungle doesnt appeal to me
ucsb is like a resort
pepperdine lol
pepperdine lol
i wonder what CSU San Marcos is like
go ask
Okay. Will call them.
Yup, thats why I am somewhat unhappy with my major😭
benjamin
ucsd is so nice
by far the best UC campus and location
imo
and the third best uc in education i think
still waiting on sjsu...
Anyone got decisions from slo yet?
someone ik got accepted here
i think they are rolling decisions
i have also yet to get mine
what major?
What state r they in?
I just know an intl that got in
California
Cs
BIG ANNOUNCEMENT CSU THREAD!!!
The B4M Emoji has officially dropped on the A2C Discord!!
Hi can someone help me out
how are you supposed to send your transcripts to CSULB
if you're an international student
because the email states that you've to mail it to the address
like comon isn't there an option to submit official doc online
There should be an email mentioned that your school counselor could email to
lfg

Less go
same, i have not gotten my sjsu one back yet, im gonna call them tomorrow
oh damn sf state's acceptance rate went up from 88% to 93%
sfsu is local to my hs and a lot of students here end up going there
woww😂
they were sending me emails regarding this or that, you have this financial problem, give statement from government.... bank that you can withdraw money....and this is your money.... etc. I replied them, still they arent satisfied😆😂
I wonder why they have so much problem when even t30/t50 univs are okay
but damn, 90% is everybody getting accepted😮
i'm still waiting on two (different) CSUs, and I've gotten 3 other decisions already. it's a rolling release so decision dates will be diff for everyone don't stress it
they told me to wait till mid march
I got into Cal State Monterey Bay and Channel Islands in December/January, I’m trying to go to a smaller school so all the big ones are out
One of my friends with a 4.0 got into San Marcos, Long Beach and San Diego State so he’ll go there if he doesn’t get into a UC, and one of my other friends with a 3.7 got into Fullerton, Cal Poly Pomona and rejected from Long Beach
Rn i think the only cal state id take over sj is sd
UC wise I don’t expect to get into any so that’s not smth I’m looking into
Anyone know when calpoly released last year?
hey guys I am an international student and have applied to SDSU but i am not able find anything in the to do list to upload documents
Still waiting for cpp
same
welp got rejected from SJSU as int'l for CS, not suprised
Im sorry EK 😢
just know that it was yield protection
and mayb u shouldve applied to ucsd as a safety as well
they said this is why
i only got one B in grade 10 and 11,
damn thats harsh
the thing is my school does not offer AP courses so i cant go above 4.0
fuc
thats so rigged
shoulda applied to ucsd
prob the same thing, they're gonna cap me at 4.0
uc's dont fuck u over like that
i mean yea
they fuck all intl and oos
yea u can appeal tho
if ur acc considering sjsu
and in state
to a degree
uc used to be like, if you were a smart cali kid then you could expect to pull up to one
no longer the case, but that's due to a good reason: our high schools have gotten better
and everyone pretty much has the same stats
similar
its not the one listed on the CSU portal thats all i know
its probably uncapped weight
does it take 9th grade
i think its all A-G courses
iirc
i applied with 9 aps and 3 honors which doesnt meet the impaction gpa im pretty sure but i had 15 DEs
you're oos
in state
oh i got in btw i didnt mention that
so idk what their gpa calculation is entirely but their website says "A-G coursework"
this is really dumb tho
how r internationals supposed to get above a 4.0 if they're school does not offer AP, bruh
i hope the UCs dont F me up like this
im sure other applicants have ran into the same issue as u EK
ucs are holistic
do some reseatch
so they wont use some weird impaction gpa
watch me get rejected from every UC now
heres what GPA ppl from my school had when getting into a UC
i thought ur school wasnt weighted?
yea but they have some "regional" AP program where if you joined in grade 9, you can take modified courses that prepare you for the AP exam, i joined in grade 11 so I could not join.(i mentioned this in the additional info section for every uni i applied to)
if all the ppl that got in were part of that program, im screwed
nobody can call 25% acc a safety
EK has the biggest grudge against ucsd
genuine question why are u so active here
when u are in college already
good, extra spot for me
im not stem, and my workload is relatively light
im really just in the UC threads tbh
and im also running for mod as well
anyone know when SLO is coming out?
i got rejected from slo today so soon ig 💀
wait it came out???
rolling?
ohh maybe
its probably rolling loll but seeing that rejection was a humbling experience 💔
i didn’t get a message like this that compares gpa, where is that ?
you only get it, if you get rejected
oh then it must be only for internationals
it was attached to the email
when did u submit ur SLO app? in october?
yea
what is ur major just out of curiosity
graphic design
yea
why havent u made any a2c icons then
cause i make 3D art
blender
animation, modelling, rigging, and lighting
this was one year ago for an art project. I recreated the gravity falls room in 3D.
All by myself. That was part of the assignment
thats amazing
I also like fnaf and minecraft so I i made this during covid
Do we have mit logo
yea
ponky made it
but yea i got some animations up on my YT too
i downloaded blender and gave up within 5 mins
me too, i first tried it in 2017 but gave up because it was too overwelming, but in 2018 i started with a smaller program called "mine-imator", after using that for 3 months, I then felt confident to use blender. I started with a blender tutorial series on YouTube and then worked my way from there. Now I make 3D animation workshops and teach blender to others.
Anyone know how to view fin aid
Like for sjsu idk where to see what me expected cost is
Scroll down past the three steps to here
Soon, but they’re rolling
ik someone who got in already
how often do they roll out decisions
Yea bc they are rolling
like biweekly?
yall why is the cal poly slo portal down
works for me
go to student center
I am still waiting on 4 but ngl I think I would only consider 1 of the 4 other than the 1 I alr got
It’s odd
To be content
Like yeah I’m nervous but also content
It’s to the point where I’m debating dropping a couple apps I was gonna do by march 1 for transfer
bruh im in state and i still havent heard back yet
i dont see the fin aid thing?
imo I like that reputation I've never been that much of a crazy social person (Also I live like a 15 minute drive from ucsd so like nooo bias whatsoever but I love the school)
CPP withdrew my application and says I didn’t accept the CPP choice offer. Do you guys know what that is? I was never sent a notification or anything
Received acceptance from SF State.
anyone else get SDSU request for transcripts ?
yes
I got a whatsapp message
does anyone know when slo comes out
Their letters are rolling
They have until the end of the month
do not forget veda05 did this to you.
All in good fun
Do you know at what time they come out? Is it like in the morning or night
At any time
Ok do they do school hours
Wdym
Like would they release a acceptance during 8-3
Probably
They just don’t send them on the weekends
Someone here mentioned getting one as late as 11pm or so iirc
Wow
Yeah I haven’t got any yet so I’m still confused
does the email or the portal acceptance come first
email how long after
Idk
Just check ur portal consistently if u don’t wanna miss it
Yeah I will
is anyone having trouble accessing the cpp portal
they are rolling out their decisions
they have until the end of the month
they see me rollin
they'll definitely give u a letter, most likely in the portal
maybeee printed in the mail too... idk
i got into sdsu months ago and i have never gotten any promised mail from them
Ig they're doing intl first
They required some doc from my scl that wasn't in the to do list and said that they needed it to release my decision
That was around the same time that my friends got their decisions
Mine works just fine
my status date still says 12/2/2022 so i was wondering the same💀
I got accepted to SJSU for data science
Me too!
Do u guys think Cal Poly and UC Davis are releasing on the same day this Friday?
could be
cal poly is so damn random with admissions i'm tempted to just check on the 30th with berkeley
Calpoly admissions just posted on insta
That admissions will he released by april 1
So ig they could be releasing in waves
me too,
But my major preference was CS. Can I ask them to change to CS.
I don’t think they allow it, CS is severely impacted. I think you can only request to change if you’re under 100 units as well, and even then it’s not guaranteed 🥲
Not worth it for me personally to take that chance
Right
Congrats though! SJSU is a great school
Thanks and Congratulations to you too as well!
Anyone heard from slo yet?
doea anyone know about this error
Probably just broken
Closest we have https://www.instagram.com/p/Cpd-44CPt_f/?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY=
Posted yesterday
“By” April 1
Ik
Not on 😭
April 1 is typically the day of rejections
Does anyone know when SDSU honors came out last year?
That’s why I said “closest” lmao
Please read it was like 3 words
IK i meant like why can't they just say a date
Ah sorry
even saying April 1 is better than this vague nonsense 😭
Got admit mail from sjsu
oo i wanna check but its very stormy
ugh yall really gonna make me go out in the rain
r/sdsu is saying this
No stickers, very disappointed lamo
Love how this wasn’t an issue at the other 3 cal states that have admitted me for the exact same program
I could probably appeal bc I’m sure I do have a course that meets it
Maybe I just didn’t properly list it
But it’s not a top choice school rn so I won’t bother
my friend got into sjsu!! im so proud of him
i wouldve applied but its too close to my hometown and im trying to escape this place lol
Congrats to him!
is SLO rolling out admission over the weekend?
no
has anyone not gotten there SDSU yet
Most people haven't
Thats good to hear
only super overqualified people have recieved it I think
csu's dont like doing that
my college counselor confirmed that sdsu does tiered rolling admissions, aka super high stats ppl get their decisions first
Are they still doing it now even after all the high people got in?
i don’t think anyone including high stats ppl have heard back yet so far
Decent amount have gotten acceptances
oh damn nvm then
i got in in january
if that helps at all
but ik some people who got in in february too
i submitted my sdsu app in late november and my gpa is alright so i’m assuming that’s why i haven’t heard back yet
what’s ur csu calculated gpa? if u don’t mind me asking
I think the school and area u are from also matter
4.3
i’m a bay area kid lol so hopefully i hear from them this week or smth
and i’m in state
you probably will
i’m from the san diego area but not in their region if that makes sense
i got an email
ah ok i’ll just wait til they email me then
Same
I think area def matters
Not in the auto admit area?
Bc iirc some sd kids get auto admit if they have like a 2.0 and some other stuff right
And then the other area gets CSUSM
i’m in CSUSM auto admit area
so i don’t think where i live gave me any advantage
other than being in state
like i don’t think it would make a difference if i lived in LA vs where i live
Ik what you mean
Wait where you live or where you’re graduating
You are in SDSU's local admissions area if you graduate from a high school in San Diego County located south of state route 56 and extending eastward to the Imperial County border line, or if you are from a high school located in Imperial County.
If you graduate from a high school in SDSU's local admissions area, then you will receive priority consideration during the admission ranking process.
could you imagine if csu's didn't prioritize local applicants
I do not live in this area
my local hs sends like half of our student body to sdsu most likely because of that
Oh ok
i think this refers to the same county lines
but i could be wrong
Ik of sd high schools where you can live in boundaries but go to school out of boundaries
So that’s the thing
ohhh yeah both my school and my house are out of boundaries
I always forget you’re in sd too
wait you're a local?
I’m not there rn but yeah I was there from birth to first attempt at college
SJSU wants me to submit documents
But their submission is glitching & wont let me submit
Should I even bother if I know I’m not going?
then withdraw
They’ll rescind if I don’t submit by this Friday lamo
But u said u know ur not going
Yes, but shouldn’t you withdraw only after committing to another school?
Not necessarily
If you are seriously considering SJSU, as a backup, then send the files
I’m submitting even though I’m not planning to go, but I’m paranoid
lmao almost everyone at my school got their decisions and we're just barely north of the 56
does calpoly slo only release on fridays?
so another wave will come this friday then?
A wave of waitlists 😭
they released all their acceptances already?
Vast vast majority
Only a few people get in after the first wave
cap check
wait really
damn
wtf
do they waitlist?
i decided to go and look but i'm only getting login failures
is poly websit edown or something??
no, just their portal
oh
Hey guys I asked my friend who’s lived in slo for ab a decade. They said that slo usually releases acceptances in multiple waves with usually the same amount of acceptances rather than only a select few "making the cut" after the first round. But a lot of ppl are saying different things so idk lol
do yk if they release daily or only on Fri
But the cal poly student here said it was the other way around
Poofyjacket
Welp that’s why idk cuz ppl are saying different things lol
I’m not sure
What
has many high stat non engineering/cs applicant not gotten cpslo yet?
any CS people get there Cal Polyu Decision yet?
yes
Did anyone get in cpslo for biology?
yall oits notby major
Yeah it’s usually a lot smaller after the first round
Most of the releases after should be mostly waitlist then rejection near the end
There’s some acceptances that’ll release but not as many as the first
Exactly! Thank you
I'd love for more acceptances lol I didn't get in but realistically that's just it
Has anyone not gotten CPP yet?
When does sdsu come out?
congrats!! did this just come in your email? and are you instate?
instate (local area priority), computer engineering
yes that's my email
there was an application so i banged out two essays and pasted in my ec list
wait this isn’t for weber honors right?
it is
yes

do you know anyone personally that has gotten an email today?
Not yet I do know someone who personally got in
They checked portal
Looks like they are just rolling it out because I’m not seeing a huge influx of people saying they got accepted like there was last Friday for cal poly
yeah thats true. do you know in what criteria they are rolling out or is it all just random?
Everyone I’ve seen got an acceptance has an above 4.0 gpa so idk it might be that but then again it feels like everyone in california has an above 4.0 gpa these days lmfao
These are all personal observations I don’t know anything
