then you have diff factors to consider

hallo yall, I just became a finalist for an external scholarship that basically makes duke the same price as washu... I'm more unsure on where to go now haha

some colleges have so if you get an outside scholarship it reduces your need-based aid

but from what i can see from a brief google search i think it jus pays off part of ur loan/work which should be fine

only pays off up to 7.2k and the rest decreases your aid. also because of how good the terms are of federal loans, I'd honestly prefer to keep those loans and instead apply the scholarship money towards any private loans/family contribution
