If they're an alumnus I'd recommend asking them what the best part of college was. Say that you've focussed yourself so much on your academics and extra-curriculars when applying to Duke that you haven't got a sense of how their social life is.
Also ask them for their email to send a 'thank you note' to appreciate their time if you want to.
They mark the 'level of applicant's interest' as 'Considered' in their CDS which made me note down the 2 aforementioned points in case I ever received an interview
