I think it's not the best to shoot for a specific school, but with ur ECs and assuming you have a strong academic profile + good essays, def have the capability of landing into some reaches

Sure, but I'm serious. The hardest part about Harvard is getting in. Once you're there, the education is about as good as most other schools. If you're looking to go into engineering, for instance, I can't imagine Harvard being the top choice for most people.

No, I understand. But these schools having such low acceptance rates mean that very few people get in (OBVIOUSLY). The majority of applicants don't end up attending these schools. But there are quite a few more people in the work force than Ivy, MIT, or Stanford grads. Plenty of law firms, hospitals, electorates hire/vote people who attended OTHER schools. It's truly a matter of what you do with your time in college and your passions in life. So wherever you go, you'll do great.

harvard interviews are def availability because from my area (central NJ, so tons of applicants) i only know one person who was interviewed across at least two (competitive asf) schools. he got into Princeton REA, but the guy with a yale likely and MIT acceptance wasn't interviewed so I'm like 99% sure it's availability
