Essentially we know how greeks were stubborn per se with their theories and ideas. So ptolemy introduced this whole idea of going against the existing greek idea of how celestial bodies move (epicycles) and proposed to replace that with the idea of equants with relation to deferents. What I wanted to majorly know was how the greeks accepted the almagest (the book that first put forward the researched theory). While the three words are technical the others felt like it would be understood, now I'm worried if the AOs will find it overdone
