Then we talked about my Hackathon projects, and he told me if he were to invest 1 million dollars into my project, what would I spend it on. We talked about why I liked reddit cause one of my projects was similar to it. He then asked the classic Why Stanford question, to which I talked about 2 research projects happening, one on programmable metastructures and the other on reinforcement learning. Then we talked about my involvement in a non-profit where I made workshops on photo editing, 3D animation, and Python. He then asked me about my background and what made me who I am today, in which I talked about my father. He then asked me if he had any questions. I asked him what made him choose Stanford for his PhD, how flexible are professors with undergrads working with them, and his take on the layoffs happening in the tech industry right now
