Yea, but if you purposefully test and find methods of revealing decisions early, you completely fuck with the whole "We're releasing decisions at ___ time, so everyone hears at the same time." It's really annoying for them because decisions can and will change up until that deadline, so it would get messy if people knew. So, they WILL penalize people for snooping and trying to find methods of finding out if you've been accepted.
