Uhh, I'll give you the two angles. First, in terms of requirements you'll come in for FYE and then you can talk to your advisor to declare the finance major. I don't think it's particularly difficult as finance isn't terribly selective (maybe ask before committing, though). But, from the angle of a student that's gonna be an incredible challenge unless you're ok with spending 5 years here at Purdue

Honestly, the bigger reason ppl don't get a CODO is because they don't meet the competitive requirements. But, hypothetically speaking, if the pool of ppl who are qualified in the top tier of candidates then they'd prob use research and other experiences relevant to your major

They don't consider HS stuff

It's also not like HS where doing clubs that aren't at all related to your major can help you out

It'd give you a very good chance; try to be as far above the 3.4 minimum as possible. You have to receive 30 credit hours at Purdue, WL and wait 2 semesters. At the end of the day, you have a good shot after a year. HOWEVER, if you have opportunities to study AAE at another university that doesn't have the level of competitiveness don't come to Purdue
