omg what happened for me was i accepted it immediately because it was the first decision to come out on that 3 uc day thingie and i was scared for the rest of my decisions and when i went back to see if i could withdraw my waitlist spot there was no option to D:

You have to go into your letter of admission in the portal, click the link to the waitlist opt in form and then you can update from yes opt in to no decline.

i opted in immediately too and I understand some ppl don’t poke thru the portal like some do (me lol) it’s just frustrating as it makes the progress longer and they’re not even interested anymore 😭
