But basically once ur at uiuc you just have to take all the required 100/200 level math physics cs and ece classes and then it’s a guaranteed transfer

Besides gen eds you can only get credit for calc 1, calc 2, physics mechanics, and physics e&m

And I also have dual enrollment credit for calc 3

Without any ap credits youll most likely fullfil the requirements by the end of sophomore year or maybe first sem sophomore year if you take summer classes or skip gen Ed’s

With the credits I’m expecting to have I could theoretically do it at the end of my first year but the curriculum would be impossible

So most likely you’ll be able to do it 1st semester sophomore year assuming you get credit for calc and physics

Also keep in mind that youd need 5’s on AB/BC and both physics c tests to get the credit

At uiuc, the better majors for data science are statistics or stats+ cs

Cause the DS majors don't take many math or stat classes which is pretty important for some deeper data sci
