There are plenty of people who transfer in after their first year and as long as they're working towards fulfilling prereqs that transfer, it literally doesn't matter lol

The major you originally applied for kinda doesn't matter, when you get accepted to UNC you get accepted to the college of arts & sciences and if you want to do a pre-professional school (or CS) you have to apply

It's probably best to wait until you can talk to an advisor, but if you're set on business, I would register for the business prereqs

What you put on your app to UNC doesn't matter, you have to re-apply for things like CS, business, HPM, etc once you're in

You can double major CS/biz, you'll just have to apply both and get accepted both

Unsure how it is now

The actual program is gonna be more theoretical iirc than maybe newer schools just cause it's p old (not a bad thing by any means)

UNC has good reputation for both employers and academia too

But I think they accepted a good number of CS interested people so maybe it has gotten better

Most majors don't need to be applied for at UNC

But of the ones that do, CS is on the easier side

So theoretically if you are qualified enough to get into UNC you're good enough to probably declare cs 1-2 years later
