None of this is official but the norms are that colleges typically give you a a full month to decide before May 1 and that the ivies are the last big ones to release
so we know that it’s most likely before April 1 and before ivy day, but that’s not confirmed and just a theory based on what normally happens, it could be different
early april is just a timeframe that umich is giving so that they have something to say and to set expectations for applicants, but it could come out before that
