I cant speak for the oakland/london programs but nuin and global scholars are mostly just a housing/fin aid thing now the applicant pool is so oversaturated by qualified candidates that there isnt much student "quality" discrepancy between the programs

I love wasting free time so I decided to try calculating the actual northeastern acceptance rate this year (including NU In and Global Scholars) , since the 6.7% only accounts for direct Boston admits

So according to my calculations, it came out to around 15%, give or take 3-5% due to certain possible errors
Lmk if ya want an explanation lol

I then divided the number by 3
Counting the three years spent as an upperclassmen (this contributes to a possible error since there could be people spending 5 years or are dropouts)

I then subtracted this # by the official # of enrolled freshmen to find the # of freshmen transfers (Another possible error since this takes into account all transfers, including not just NU In and Global Scholars, but actual transfers)

After, I divided 100 by the yield rate (33) and then multiplied that # by the number of enrolled transfers
Another possible error since the yield rate may be lower for these programs

This got the calculated # of admitted transfers
I then added this to the number of official admits
Lastly I calculated the acceptance rate
Coming out to that #

I could have also used the official # of transfers on the CDS, but the issue is idk if that only counts true transfer applicants, or transfers from those programs

The 3-5% discrepancy is ultimately based off those errors mentioned. But it may be even more inaccurate than I originally thought
