I competed for archery even when I was sick. I don't understand why my numbers defined me. I don't understand why all my efforts have gone to waste. I'm so heartbroken. I had a 1530 SAT, 3.9 GPA with good course load. I got rejected. I don’t think it was because of my stats. Maybe my extracurriculars weren’t great, but I had some good medical related experience over the summer, was the co captain of science Olympiad, won 4th and 6th in the state last year in scioly, was national merit commended, was the founder of a SAT tutoring club, completed the highest level in sailing for the ASA,

And I had good essays too ( sent them to college grads and teachers alike)

It could’ve been my demographic, I am Indian

Or maybe one of my supplementals was a bit too controversial- I did have one like that
