They don’t officially release it, but some third party sources say that it’s harder to get into the CS program, by some non provided margin. I will say though that I’ve seen a really good comp sci applicant get rejected from UMD. She had the ECs, GPA, SAT was a little low but regardless. She got deferred from MIT, but didn’t get into the comp sci program for UMD
