my understanding for the Q1 requests is that itās not indicative of anything, one being that ECs and essays have a lot of weight and that grades really only matter as a benchmark. two being that the requests are for borderline applicants who they want to see an upward trend from or if they want to see the course rigor is maintained (still dk the need for requests from 4.0s which could feed into the theory that the requests are completely random or the requests went to 4.0s that have weak ECs and they want to see more strength from the academic side which could apply to dual degree applicants)
