Location/Region: Don't mind
Major: CS / CS + Math
**GPA/Test Scores (optional): ** 4.0/4.0 (finished first year of college at top international uni)
Won't submit ACT/SAT

Curriculum: Don't mind, but rigorous is good
Size: Any
Costs: Less than 15-20K USD after aid, less is preferable.

Want a school that is well regarded for their CS program in order to get internships/jobs

You could look at the Oxbridge system.

#

unfortunately, international tuition in the states is ridiculous.

#

Cambridge and Oxford have great CS programs.

the only place i can think of that offers academic schols(the automatic ones) to intls is Montana state and Olemiss.

#

and they're just decent, if you're applying for a transfer idt you'd be eligible for these schols

#

if i were you i'd complete my undergrad in aus, it's really unlikely you'd get in a similarly ranked school(wrt your aus school) in the US with a shit ton of aid(coa of 20k is close to needing a full tuition waiver )

#

trying for masters'd be more rational

#

but you could apply ED2 to Lehigh/Villanova/Colby/Trincoll

What about ASU? Idk the maximum scholarship you can get, but I can’t think of any other schools with great CS programs and affordable tuition.

it'll serve as a very rough test of whether or not it makes sense to apply for super selective US schools with your budget

Thanks, I know that the private selective colls give lots of aid but it seems pretty hard to get in in the first place

#

Do you know how much strong LORs and Essays would help? + a non traditional path but I guess that’s a lot of people who transfer
