Location/Region: Suburban or Urban, Not too cold, US or UK, In an area with a lot of resources for biomedical research opportunities.
Major: Pre- Med (Biochem, BME, or Biology) Somewhere with a linguistics program, genetics program, and/or neuroscience program would be nice.
GPA/Test Scores (optional): UW: 3.95, W: 4.75, SAT: 1540
Curriculum: Rigorous/fairly rigorous, but not unnecessarily or excessively rigorous.
Size: Medium to small school. Class size between 30 and 10
Costs: I would prefer a school with some merit scholarship opportunities, or generous financial aid.
Schools you're currently looking at (if any): UNC-CH, Duke, WashU, UPenn, JHU, UMD, UVA, Emory, Georgetown, GWU, maybe Rice
Additional: I factored temperature heavily into the schools am currently looking at, so I would like some target/safety school recommendations outside of the Southeast/Midatlantic region of the US.
Somewhere with a flexible curriculum so I can pursue interests in social sciences and STEM, and a collaborative rather than toxic/overly competitive environment.
Also feedback on the current list I have would be helpful, thanks!
