I live in northern virginia, am set ont he pre med track, have a 1510 4.35 weighted. Considering I can get it into both school, is NYU or any school where I have to pay out of state tuition worth it when compared to UVA. (I don't get that much finanical aid)

first see where you get in, but UVA seems like a much better choice for you
it's an amazing school for basically anything, and in-state it is really cheap
the only thing would be if you really don't want to stay in VA or want to be in a more urban environment for college

If you don't want to stay in VA, see if any other flagships offer in-state reciprocity.
