So, one of the most tedious parts of my routine is having to clean dang fish ponds with the buckets waiting for the entire animation to go through.

The game already has it where you can put NPCs on the pond, but it does not seem to do anything, as they don't maintain the pond.

Could we get it to where, if you have an NPC on the pond, you can set a cleanliness window (say, 85-95% or whatever for the fish you are looking to raise), and they will keep the pond cleanliness in that range and the fish fed with the fodder you have in the pond?

Yes, for the love of all the holies, please yes. I love this game, but cleaning fish ponds makes me die a little bit inside every time I have to do it.

I haven't gotten much into fish ponds but from seeing you guys talk about this. It sounds like it be helpful in the long run, fish are needed for alot of fodder and crafting l. With the community playing mostly in small group it is hard to have someone dedicated to each task in the base. From weapons and armorsmithing to gardening fodder production fish ponds and crafting/base building. This would be a great quality of life addition. With the up coming map the devs should strongly consider adding it and maybe doing a quality of life patch to help players enjoy all content in the game without having to mindlessly grind base chores.
