It would be great if there were dyes so you could later change the color of the armor (like in Conan). The game is amazing. It's going to be incredible when you add the dlcs

This isn't conan exiles game

And? He said conan because dyes are in conan, if this Game would give us dyes Will be interesting for make armours look better

Its bad to copy ideas and features from the other games

#

Isn't?

bleak slate
#

So myt of empires is a copy of other games, the same with others survivals, every survival copies others survivals games? Rigth?

#

You can use one idea and you arent copy, i dont understand your comment

I said it as a suggestion. I think it would be a good addition to the game to have to craft dyes. It would be nice to have color combinations for armors

#

There are greeks in conan too. Is not about copy is for improve the game๐Ÿ˜„

there are already different skins and colours for them. dyes make little sense when that already is available.

while there are many skins for equipment/gear, there are only a handful of building structure sets. A dye system would allow exponential amount of customization for both armor and building structures. I don't see why anyone would not want this

weary tendon
#

because there are skins, that's why. they come in many different shapes and colours. i'd rather have the devs focus on important things than enabling people to draw rainbows everywhere

inland spade

Agreed about devs focusing on important things; but imo character and guild/base customization is an important feature. Being able to outfit all my warriors in distinguishable matching black armor (as an example) would be pretty cool. Or being able to color the statues or building pieces to give bases a distinguishable look. One of the things I really like about this game is the building mechanics (It's why I am playing MOE and not some other game). A dye system would take it to a whole other level.

you complain about things you can already do, sure you can't take out a paintbrush or spraypainter and go nuts, but you can exactly do what you're asking for, as i do it myself.

well, if that was an attempt to counter my points, then you failed, as the issue at hand here is your lack of creativity in terms of making buildings and skins look neat and unique or even colour coded if need be. look up some player build showcases, videos or contests for that matter to get inspiration.

I personally would never and I repeat, never would want a dying function in a game with a wide selection of skins in different shapes and colours, as it would convolute the entire system and make bases with multiple people near unbearable, as people always go crazy with such things. combine that with the wide variety of things and you got yourself a circus like landscape, that would kill the entire aesthetic awesomeness of MoE, in my honest opinion.

A skin is not the same as a dye. The skins come premade but the dyes would allow you to make combinations of the armor. Imagine making a squad of players or npcs by color and how it would change any armor visually, even the easiest ones to make.
And you forget that I would add more crafting recipes

it would most certainly not be the case. but i can see several people here stuck up with the idea of getting dyes would solve their lack of creativity, so any further discussion is pointless, as you don't seem to fathom the problem at hand if it would be added. aside from the impracticality with the current system, it would be stupid from a business standpoint, too, and if you don't understand both of these concepts, then well, good luck with your suggestion ๐Ÿ˜›

also might want to check if there are mods for it, wouldn't be surprised.

adding a dye function to a shop that already has different dyed armors of the same type would be nothing short of stupid, lowering their income

and none of those games have the extend of skins that moe has, they dont because they have dyes. moe has skins. both doesn't work well, unless you limit either of them very much

Its a example of how great would be greek armours with custom dyes. The colors look a little dark in the image, that's why it seems like Beerus in Dragon Ball ๐Ÿ˜‚

Other games allows you to gather color pigments from many resources and craft them into dyes. Each piece of cloth or armor is able to hold several different colors, so you can choose to color the individual parts of each piece differently. Being able to dye clothes like this is especially useful for clans.

#

Having dyes would help the skin system a lot. We would have much more customization for both normal armor and skins, which would become more coveted for players. I leave you an example of how the same part could be seen in different colors:
