Come to the hot zone, the tiger will find you. There is usually a couple of tigers between the 2 southern saltpeter mines on the ridge

just go looking for horses once you find a level 60 heavenly after a few hours of searching a tiger instantly spawns and kills it

I found alot of tigers roaming the volcano area, but panthers.... Panthers are very difficult to find in the brown area.
We tried taming them as we came across them, but they always died off before they began breeding properly.

To get panthers successfully breeding in pens, one person roamed the brown area for more than hour and marked out all the panther locations (a total of 4 after a very thorough search). Then we went out and tamed them all in quick succession.
It was fortunate that those 4 panthers were 2 male and 2 female.

I can't imagine trying to do that on a busy official server.

Panther spawns in the brown zone are definitely too low.

I don't think they are that hard we have 3 boxes of them full in our base

I haven't collected a single animal but we have like 5 pig pens 4 tiger pens 4 crocodile and a bunch of the little ones as well as those Panthers

We've got a full pen now... They're breeding so it's not a problem anymore.

Locating them in the wild was the hard part.

I swear I've been attacked and chased by a few my horse is quicker so I usually stop and kill them

I noticed the snowy islands in the south west are full of panthers.... But those islands have hard hitting ballistas all along the coast line.

Not exactly what I'd call the same tier as bears

Maybe those snowy islands are consuming all the allocation given by the server for panther spawns

Cant you just itemize the panthers? So get 1, itemize it and save it till you have 4 and then put them in all at once
