Just an FYI you don’t need EXP crystals to level up your characters. They level up by being on a team that is used so you get passive experience this way which adds up to a lot when you farm quests a lot like the point event

Listen bro, you save exp crystals when you want to dump on a character quick for when you don't have time to level them up the slower way.
The slower way is still fast. Just follow these steps in order when leveling characters.

  1. Slot your characters that you want leveled in extra leftover slots (I use 6-9)
  2. "If" they are 5star then level up the soul tree AND ascension both at the same time for all filled slots.
  3. Once you have a bunch of characters ready to "level up" go to "rukias training grounds" in events.
  4. I cannot stress this enough, if step 3 event is not there, then just stock up your characters until she is. She comes around very often after she leaves. It is not worth it to farm your time away in xp events or kons soul tree. LARGE XP CRYSTALS ARE NOT GAURENTEED PER TICKET IN KONS SOUL TREE.
  5. If rukias event is available, it is 1 ticket per play, no multi-ticket but use exp magazines on your loadouts and watches if you want more coin and just level up there. It takes 5 tickets with fully 5 star exp mags once they hit 150lvl-200lvl. I believe it's about 2-3 runs per fresh 5 star character run.
  6. Rinse and repeat.

This by far is the cheapest and fastest method to max out your characters without blowing 1000's of large exp crystals
