1st of all is that an avg solve for you or not?
and also i think you scrambled wrong
Yes avg
O i scrambled weonf?
maybe
yeah now its correct
you did smthing wrong in the vid
also how long have you been cubing?
About 1 month
its the same as the Vid look at the green face
I was sub 1min in my 1st day
holy shit
Since i had some experience as a kid but i gave up when i was learning second lauyer
oh ok thats why
I only relearned it now
firstly try to plan the cross in inspection obv you cant do it 1st try but give it a go
I always do that
start by planning 2 edges then 3 then 4
I only plan 2 edges if its hard but i mostly plan all 4
i meant also solving it blindfolded cuz seems like you plan some pieces but you still rely on watching the peices moving try to do it without watching
it will improve your cross so much
Ohhh like that
Yeah i do that
I just have low tps and i forget my solurtion most of the time
ill try practicing cross lIke that
Ty
yeah thats what i meant
also i saw you do a bit of filler moves and do crazily long solutions
Yyp
at first it can feel normal but it will become a bad habit later on
i would say watch jperm or cbhd f2l video
best vids for f2l
Obb yeahh i didnt realize i did filler moves just realized when i watched it
yeah recording yourself is also very good
Yep i watch jperm mosty for f2l since hes more on the intuitve side
bad habits?
regripping for every wrist move
bad F2L solutions (least offensive thing on the list)
bad execution on the last layer algs
positioning the PLL to the auf skip orientation before doing the PLL alg, despite being in the perfect position to do your alg before turning it
and planning cross, but that was already talked about
fixes?
learn better fingertricks (will help with the wrist turn and last layer execution points)
try to overwrite your subconscious programming to match PLL's to their auf skip orientations (kinda just gotta drill that one out)
also that U perm was atrocious, did you learn how to solve from theCubicle, by any chance?
What is auf?
Na i discovered the u perm myself
moving after/before an alg to set it up/skip moving after it
you did it for U perm in the video
Yep i tilt the cube to check what pll case i have and i end up putting it to the right clor scheme which has become muscle memory for me
Ohh
Ye it kinda becmae muscle memorh for me
you matched the bar to its center beforehand, when it would've just been faster to do the U perm alg from the angle you got it from, then move the top layer afterwards
as stated, that's smth you kinda just gotta drill out
Bc when i tryna find whaf case i have
Imy muscle memory kicks in and it turns the u layer
you tilted to see, then saw, then pre-moved anyway
Correcting it to its scheme
Yepp
just gotta drill out the pre move, it's losing time especially since you did U and then rotated
in this example
Yep i do that in practice solves
But sometimes when im in a rush i subconsciously do U move and rotate
which is fair
Its been a bad habit ever since i started using pll
Eve tho i know i dont need ro correvt the color
however, you have little to no pressure at home
your times will come down naturally if you learn to calm your nerves
and make sure to learn better fingertricks, that'll also help in the long-term
you regripped twice for that U perm when you really didn't need to
When inserting?
in general, but the U perm is the easiest thing to catch
you keep regripping for R/L' moves
in cases where you don't need to
Do u think i csn be sub 20 in 2 motnhs
if you set your mind to it, yes
Alr ty
If not, it’ll come eventually
At 1 year i was at like sub 20
whats ur avg rn?
Yes
I know
Try to get better look ahead and intuitive f2L J perm has excellent videos on both topics
And to lessen your rotation look at cube heads 6 F2L tricks video
And learn how to solve f2l pairs in the back look at cube heads f2l master class
You get low 20s with practice and doing this
