I notice I tend to add extra moves during my solves but I'm not quite sure how to improve upon them and I would have false recognition of my algs.

I am around 11-12 secs so I'll give you the advice that I can: 1) Try to prioritise some practice for getting your cross solutions complete to the point where you can execute them blind, if that seems too hard then it might be worth investing some time into looking how to make them more efficient. The one in the video was quite a few moves which was why you had to look to see where the pieces where going after making the small mistake and resulted in it being 6 secs 2) Your overall insertion of f2l pairs was decent but try going through some well known f2l algs and practicing fingertricks for getting these faster - I was noticing quite a lot of uncomfortable turning which I think rooted from holding the cube in a tight grip (correct me if I'm wrong). 3) Try to get into the habit of inserting pairs into the back or at least rotating after putting one into the front slots in order to have the remaining ones in the front. The y2 rotation at the end for example could have been avoided from perhaps even solving the 3rd pair into the back. 4) Your last layer was pretty smooth and all that the OLL and PLL algs need now is a bit of TPS! Practice drilling each one out and adjusting fingertricks if necessary so you can consistently solve all of them between 1-2 secs at best. There are many great videos such as Cubehead and JPerm who show slowed down footage of how to execute these fingertricks. Hope that helps! Sorry for the weird spaces between numbers

Try do solve your cube slower to be more eficient i also do it like that and try to see in inspecton your cross try only the cross a few times
