i am baffled by what i did on solve 1

#

i don't get what i was seeing

commenting on ur turning style for now, although in general you do have faster tps than lucatchu (which means you could be more efficient with ur solutions) you still pause a ton, especially after cross

#

at this point c+1 will do you wonders

stark finch
#

But it's still really tiresome and kinda makes me pause more on pair2

I haven’t watched all your solves yet but I noticed you did pause a bit during f2l and on last layer on the first solve you locked up heavily, maybe drill your algs, a lot of people don’t but it’s super underrated, also, maybe tone down your tps a bit to look ahead, that’s all for the first solve I’ll look at the otbers

#

For your second one you still paused a good amount during f2l, however your tps is high, same thing maybe slow down to look ahead, if you are having trouble with look ahead, that’s fine I got some tips for you

#

For the 3rd one, you also paused a lot so look ahead is a key issue here, but I also noticed you did do a lot of u moves for oll recognition, you should be able to 2 side recognition for last layer, so maybe find new unobvious patterns in oll and do oll alg trainer

#

Also for pll your auf was a bit hesitant, you should maybe try to predict auf, but no worry’s, when in a solved state just spam the pll alg until you have it, and move the u face anywhere, and do it again to solve it and see what color or piece tells the auf, for example, the Ra perm, the corner on the right of the block tells the auf, so just try to play around with it

#

The fourth one was pretty good, however maybe practice inspection time a bit since I think that would be over, I didn’t time it though so idk

#

For the fifth one, still not try to look ahead and slow down your turning a bit, now if you want to improve it, you can do slow solves, however I didn’t do that while doing look ahead since it was so boring, I just improved my f2l in general and reinforced my confidence to do pairs blind and that made my look ahead way better, you could do slow solves or watch Jayden McNeill vid on lookehad,(metronome practice doesn’t work)

Can I use your solves to roast in my YouTube channel?

@stark finch what version of the ys3m is this?

stark finch
#

no uv

pulsar parrot
#

interesting version

stark finch
#

why?

pulsar parrot
#

because i was planning on getting the 20 magnet one

stark finch
#

the 20 mag is meh

#

it's less blocky, the magnets are a bit weaker overall

#

so i opted for the 8 mag

pulsar parrot
#

yes i prefer stronger magnets

stark finch
#

that's what i am saying

you mean the HuaMeng YS3M 3x3 Ball-Core UV (Magnetic Core + MagLev)
