# fleet oxide **Scramble 3** B2 D L2 F2 L' U2 L' U2 F2 L' D2 R' D2 B' U2 R D2 F' R' U' ...

for this the cross is good but you couldve preserver the blue red pair. So you do the cross D U F R' then take out the pair with L' U' L then continue ur cross D L2 D and then u have a 3 move first f2l pair so thats a 13 move cross -(or + idk) 1 that u can plan in inspection. then you can go for the red green pair. maybe you will have 2 pairs in the from but its the easiest for lookahead. so u do the f2l case with R U2 R' U R U' R'. then you do y rotation and you notice the orange green pair so you do it, then for the last slot you have an easy to see without rotating case so thats a only 1 rotation f2l. after that after you do the not so great oll but then you get a t perm ( if u use the same alg as me) with U2 for auf. Now i will be looking at how youve done it. You kinda hesitate with the U2 U' but honestly in solves i do the same its a habbit i should probably fix and so do you. you notice the blue orange pair then you have an easy to see orange green pair. then an easy red blue then not a good case for the end of f2l. then ussuall oll and pll. overall from what i see in the reconstruction you should learn to do xcrosses or preserving a pair and knowing is it better to preserve or not. wouldve been better if you sent a video of the solve, so i could rate your lookahead, maybe look for regrips and hesitations.

this is above average for me btw but i had just sat down and did an ao5 and this was one of the solves

from what i see as a first impression its definetly good that you always stay in home grip, also you shuld definetly work on your cross speed, like do the cross as fast as you can without messing up but the speed of your f2l was good i mean ur tps when you do the f2l case. you should also do maybe slow solves for f2l because i see you pause everytime for the next f2l case. Also as i see now, you rotated during the first pair which wasnt nessecary(sorry if i spelled it wrong) and couldve been done with your left hand, for me it was pretty easy to see, but if it isnt for you you should start learning and practicing cross - 1 which is predicting the first pair during inspection, you wouldnt hesitate during the first pair, and when u do the first pair you look around the cube to look for other pieces ofc without rotating. But im sure you know it because at your level you definetly know about lookahead. you f2l cases were done in the lowest ammount of moves as possible so you didnt waste any moves which is good. You had a pause recognizing OLL, but atleast you didnt do doule recognition, so as more you do that you will recognize faster dont worry. Summarising, do slow solves to improve look ahead ( like maybe 10-20 before you start your first session of the day), make a session on cstimer timing your cross to improve it, and try to plan an f2l pair in inspection. And thats all. hope your times should get better after you imply my tips, you can watch Jperms video on predicting the first pair i watched it recently and it made me predict the first pair more. Also i think Jperm has a video on making cross in under a second so i reccomend it to you.

ok, thank you so much!!

that's really detailed :D

np also i made a mistake the orange blue pair can be done with a rotation, but if u do a rotation at the wrong angle, you will have a pair in the front and done a rotation and for the rotation less, you solve it in the back and regrip once so thats better i think

solve 1

  1. this is pretty hard to see in inspection but if you had done a D2 before inserting the edge you would've had a xxcross, your solution was still good though
  2. imo it's better to end that 2nd pair solution with U' L U2 L' since I think it flows a little better
#

solve 2

  1. D R2 D R' U' R' D would have been a shorter xcross
  2. your solution was good but I would have done U' L2' U2 L U L' U L2 for 3rd pair
  3. adding on to the previous point it would have been better to insert the green/orange edge with keyhole first to save moves, which also preserves the other pair so look ahead is much easier
#

solve 3

  1. same thing as point 2 from solve 2, I would have done U R2 U2' R' U' R U' R2' but your solution was still good
  2. try replacing the M's in your z perm with Ms, idk if it'll be faster or you but I prefer it

Oh ok thanks!
