The article I linked was from September 2, 2021. I think the other article is from August, but it is hard to tell because it is not dated. Regardless it is pretty confusing because there are two legit sources with different information.

I don’t know about all of you, but when I think of ghouls my mind immediately goes to the Dunwich building in Fallout 3, so I built a temple to Ug-Qualtoth. My memory of this storyline is quite fuzzy, and relevant camp items are limited, so I had to take some liberties, but I’m reasonably pleased with the results.

i actually used fireflies as stars in the mothman cave build, kind of same with the purple plasma balls, we are so limited with 50 lights, that we become very creative with lighting. Good job!

Yeah, I was really struggling with lights towards the end because i needed so many torches (super important). It helps that I eventually figured out I had a bunch of cycling lights still stuck in a wall from when I was messing around with those, lol. Thank goodness for those plasma balls, brain jars and Fasnacht bonfires!

I think you can still do your idea. This concept is versatile enough to have multiple people use it.

Yes and those mounted heads too, well i see with what i come up, i was just started but nothing concrete yet, a dungeon was the idea, but wanted different colors, because i al ready used that purple on my mothman theme, that is going to be a challenge though 🤪

Smugglers Cove is what they call this place. A shared effort by the earliest survivors of Appalachia to try and traverse the now toxic waters safely, as the land was crawling with new and dangerous creatures mutated by the radiation.

Once they managed to get a caravan into the river to block out any debris from entering from one side, construction started on the 2 towers, scavenged from anything they could find, which would allow them to see threats from afar.

After the Scorched Plague wiped out the population, it fell into ruin. But recently a new group of survivors have found it, and turned it into a trading hub connecting parts of the toxic valley to the forest region, allowing goods and materials to be traded more easily. While it's towers and bridge now lie in ruin, unable to be accessed safely, it received a new purpose; a symbol of hope for anyone traveling out into the toxic wastes of the valley.

When the scorched plague first appeared, and it was clear there was no winning against it, a group of survivors decided to escape the horrors of the wasteland by going down into the abandoned mines of the DAHL corporation, a pre-war mining company. Scavenging supplies from the nearby surroundings and left behind equipment, together with their blood, sweat and tears, their underground hiding spot soon became a large community which they dubbed The Deep.

Now that the scorched plague is finally under control, the doors to the mines opened (for a small fee), and The Deep transformed from just a small community to a bustling underground city, a hotspot for trade in the wasteland. New houses are worked on everyday, and for the right price, one of them could be yours. The Hob serves as the main bazaar, but the city's inhabitants have set up smaller shops around The Deep aswell. Greasy Sae's famous mystery chunk stew is sure to keep you well fed, so why not join us? Life is better underground anyways.

I submit it's time to have that conversation (that was postponed) about CAMPs built in Custom Worlds either having a separate contest or not being allowed.

And I do have a Fallout First subscription nonstop since it was released. It does give an unfair advantage when building a CAMP. Thanks, it'll be all from me.

Agreed; the camps build in custom worlds are absolutely stunning and deserved to be featured... but on the other hand there is just a huge gap of freedom to build with survival and custom worlds.

More budget, being able to build wherever you want and with a bigger radius to build in, ontop of being able to freefloat and merge items. You can't even come near that amount of freedom with just simple merge glitches.

I don't think they should be disallowed; people still work hard on them, they look amazing, but atleast make it a seperate category. Best example of it is the post above. A absolutely STUNNING and mindblowing build; but impossible to get even close to try and do something like it in survival. Not even shelters have that amount of freedom.

Here's my little village! Built on normal Casual Worlds.
It contains 3 appartments, laundry room, school, bar, clinic, workshop, gift shop, mayor room, bathroom, gym and a hidden gun room.

I wasn't disparaging or singling out any CAMP built on custom Worlds. I'm a huge fan of what CAMP builders come up with, it's a big delight to watch people coming together and doing amazing things in terms of CAMP building. My observation is exactly about what you pointed out.

Simply put, the playground has to be even for ALL participants. However, creativity deserves to be rewarded, and Custom Worlds creations should have a place. Just, IMO, separate from the normal Public Adventure mode.

And I hope the Moderation Team allows this conversation to be had, cause otherwise it will eventually lead to a rift between CAMP builders, and this is NOT my desire. I want everyone to have a chance to shine, but each on their own league and merits.

I created this camp about a year ago but saw the theme and thought I’d post it. Not sure if it 100% fits the theme though.

Concept is that scientists working on FEV in Appalachia were aware of the success of the palace. Post war, the remaining scientists decided set up their own similar front to lure in wastelanders as a way to keep getting easy test subjects.

I purposefully did not finish the wayward quest so the free radicals can hang out at the camp as muscle
