Weird, I don't remember crashing mid download though, I crashed while searching for the next mod on the list then it just never opened again

no, the new microtransactions are not a part of AE
AE comes with all Creation Club content. There are some new Verified Creations, which are different, that are available
im trying to download nolvus but when it comes to downloading it it says i dont have skyrim ae.
Looks like there's an issue with the Updated section of Creations on Xbox Series X. Usually the option only shows up when a mod has been updated, but right now when I click on it there's nothing there and when I press A it immediately CTD 🤔
UPDATE: Found the problem, USSEP was updated but it was down a few categories in the Updated section instead of the one in the Category List.

Hey all! Last night was my first experience modding skyrim and it went pretty okay, nothing too terrible just time consuming for the first time. I'm wondering if someone could take a look at this and let me know if anything amiss. It looks loads better, but I did get some weird effects here and there forcing me to move things around. I'm quite certain the water mod isn't working. It looks better but I'm constantly tweaking enb light values. Whatcha think? Anything more I should add?

All the mods selected on the Bethesda website do not appear in my Creation Club library. Furthermore, I'm not able to organize the order of the downloaded mods, so as not to crash my game. I change the order of the mods but every time I reload the game it messes up again.
Are you on Xbox? If so what option are you choosing when it asks you "This save uses a different Creations Load Order than your current Load Order. Would you like to use the Load Order from this save, or your current Load Order?" Save or Current?
Because the update changed the game version, either roll back or wait for the mod list to update all of it's mods.

yea im on pc got it like a week ago huge learning curve from consoles.
I download them and put them in the correct order, when I leave the organization tab and return, the mods become disorganized again. I'm from Brazil and I'm using the translator lol.

Are all the mods you're rearranging going back to where they were originally or just some of them? I'm asking just in case some of these mods you're trying to move are Master Files that need to load to the top
Wish I realized the verified creations were considered mods really threw me off guard when I couldn't load my vanilla character and trophies would be disabled
There are some mods, but they are random mods, patch examples, which in my previous order were lower, and due to the disorder of these mods the game starts to crash.
Unfortunately it sounds like there could be a mod(s) that is no longer available that the others in your Load Order rely on. I would read each description of the mods you have in your Load Order and see if it requires another mod that you don't have installed. I'm not sure if this new UI hides those mods like it did before. Worse case scenario, you may have to delete your reserve space and redownload all the mods you had if they're available. Then when you load up your save choose "Current" when it asks you which Load Order you want to load

No problem, sorry your problem couldn't be solved. Like I said though, if anything you could always delete reserved space and start your Load Order from scratch then choose Current Load Order when you fire up your save. Good luck!
Worth noting Simon magnus removed his mods off bethnet so if any yall were using Mysticism your gonna have to use the reupload
It seems like ui mods only crash creations when trying to search for mods.. I've managed to work around that for xbox... add all mods to bookmarks first then reset game and download them straight from bookmarks tab.. it worked for me 😅
Having constant crash issues with the game since this update it's basically unplayable at this point, any load creations without it crashing, can't load into my game without crashing...
Even I'm having problems just getting on the game currently though it could be my slow Internet connection but it was working 5 mins ago
I think you got lucky with yours, Nordic UI makes the entire creations menu unusable so once it's in, you can't install, reorder, or delete any new mods
Are ui mods the cause of breaking the creations menu?
I’ve heard mixed things. Some say Main Menu replacers crash the game before the Main Menu can be reached; some say any UI mod can break the game. In either case, it seems UI mods need to updated and/or recreated for this new version of Skyrim.
Can't even search up things without being booted to the skyrim main menu

After 200 mods I'd say the menu will probably become unusable
Hello there, idk if you guys can help me here but in the eso server they dont answer my questions. Last sunday i just install the whole ESO modlist ( what a wonderfull timng considering the update i wasnt aware of...) i succeed the installation and after the last steps my game doesnt lmook that nice because it was missing the CC needed (idk why but ralof just look at me instead of saying his wellknown line). Now that the CC is back i downloaded the lastest version of skse (back when i tried sunday it was 2.2.3 now its 2.2.4) Is the mod or modpack broken for everyone?
Yep, the skse is broken for me also, can't get it working, doubt anyone from the dev-side will respond though, ever here of the saying if its not broken don't fix it? 🤣 I'm guessing we will just have to wait for an update to the skse that might never come.
i think that skse is updated, as i said when i downloaded it it was 2.2.3 and now its 2.2.4, it was updated yesterday so, is the game too new for the mod to work anymore? we will have to wait for the modcreator to update their mods?
I found five mods aren’t working when I was about to leave for work.
i tried to launched it from steam and not vortex, so without any mod, as i believed, found out that none of the alive were moving, i was in T pose but i could move and jk skyrim all in one was running, riverwood wasnt vanilla

Strange Issue (Xbox One S/Skyrim SE):
Circumstance: At 150 mods with about 700+mb to spare
Issue: Load Order Shuffling itself, seeming to not save
Issue 2: When the game is booted around 53 to 75 mods just disable themselves
- Loading a save will correct the mod load order somewhat.
- If one of the mods that randomly decide to disable themselves is disabled, I can re-enable them via the Creation menu and then use the save LO memory to correct it.
- However any mod not present in the save (replacement for missing mods) will not 'hold' in a load order correction
- Entering the load order after editing it at all will shuffle the load order, as well as attempting to use the archive function
Looking for any ideas, as of right now it appears as though somehow my load order is set to 'read only'
- Have performed a hard reset
- I have no UI mods
- The game is up to date and I can connect to the Creation menu fine

Ugh I waited one week for the mods to be back up, and now I gotta wait another for them to fix “creations” ? This is messed up, half of our lo’s are completely broken, and they didn’t even give us more space.
what happened to yours? is it greyed out or just not functional
cause if you can’t access it all, disable ui mods and usually clearing your reserved space helps if it says your creations “can’t be activated”

yeah, me too, except the “network error” bit. i think it just kept showing me bethesda error codes before it kicked me

@real sphinx apologize for the ping but now that the load orders can be backed up. What would the next step or challenge be in expanding the mod storage cap / space.
Also purely for personal understanding does the game files partition work the same way or similar to a pc windows installation partition.
that's a good point tbh, now that we can back up our load orders there isn't really a reason not to increase mod caps
Game Save File backup was the next hurdle I believe.

Naturally there's other challenges but from the way they made things sound yesterday that was there biggest issue, as for game save files they won't be deleted or lost, the reason they would have before is if you had certain mods installed and don't reinstall before launching your save corrupts. With the new update not only can a load order be backed up but the game can now detect mods not installed on a saved file and auto download them without even needing to manually back up the load order

Why does it have to be so broken! Reinstalled and managed to get back into the game again, got over halfway through my LO, decided I wanted to delete a couple mods to use different ones instead, I delete them but the space is still taken up
use mod organizer 2 then use loot for the load order @strong moss you can find pretty comprehensive guides on youtube

Ive been working on my load order for 2 freaking days. I finally had it perfect and i was able to disable a mod that caused problems and then bam it crashed with no way to access my load order to disable it now i had to wipe everything and noe the saved load order does not function correctly so only half my mods installed
i keep turning on my mos and leaving the menu in game to just say there off again
that's why im saying to use mod organizer 2 if ur on pc

I can confirm PS4/5 Skyrim is safe from this issue, so if you have either one, you can just play that version. This, however is just an opinion, and if you want to play Oblivion, that is perfectly fine.
I've backed up my LO to a Google doc so I know what to download if/when Bethesda fix everything they broke

I play on PS4 and have had my load order scramble 3 different times so far. After deleting and downloading my load order, top to bottom, my order was jumbled. Even immediately after saving my order, two mods jumped to the top of the list for some reason (Nothing like CC or SE patches. The mods didn't belong there)
They might be classified as master files
Even before the update, some mods automatically did that. I just left them untouched after they moved.

Thats just how those file types work. They will always jump to the top no matter what you do even before the update. When a mod is bugged is when it will jump to the bottom no matter where you put it. If they do that then thats the real problem. But jumping to the top means the porter or the original had them flagged as master files.
I don't remember specifically which mods they were, but I don't think they were master files
Not every mod makes sense as a master file. There is a horse tweak mod i use thats flagged as a master file
the files in question were in the load order before the update, and they only jump about half the time
They weren't placed at the top on download, only when I saved the LO to bethesda net. I'm hesitant to try replicating it

Its almost as if the load order is marked as read only, it keeps randomly reverting and disabling things on its own. And the order its reading from seems consistently borked
Is playing safe at all? My order is good for now, but if even starting a new file risks scrambling it, it's not worth the risk IMO

if you make no changes, you should be able to use a save to force the correct LO. The issue arises when you need to change a 'repair'
They need to fix the load order thing because it will ruin a lot of peoples days. It ruined mine. 2 days of downloading to get everything working. Gone. To ashes. Now i have to refind like 50 mods
So save files currently work as a better archive feature than the feature in the creations tab?
I've been trying to brute force it by using a save file but its been a nightmare, basically a constant battle of me trying to move one mod correct -> entering a game and saving to bake the load order into the save file

if I ever succeed, I will be making a brand new character: LOAD ORDER MAN
Then the routine will have to be: Boot game -> Open Creations -> enable all creations -> back out -> load LOAD ORDER MAN (Choosing use Load order from save) -> Load actual save file
With the 150 mod limit removed ive been able to actually patch my mods instead of relying on the load order to hope for the best lol
I'm hoping wiping my reserved space (I am writing everything down as we speak) will remove the 'read only' on my load order and maybe I can actually make adjustments
It worked, was a bit muddled and one mod didn't install, but it's all back in order now, hopefully I can actually finish this tonight and play

Hi there! Sorry to pop in unexpectedly but is anyone else having issues with mod space? I still have over 300MB of space left but it is saying i don’t have any space left.
So after checking out the new creations layout in a fresh install on a new Xbox, it crashed, I reopened it, but now it’s back to the old layout of the mods but nothing is loading. Search isn’t working.
When I boot the game, it randomly disables 53 mods on its own. it claims they are not downloaded when I attempt to continue, I have to go into creations and force enable all creations then load the save and its still borked because the patches are out of order
I pressed restore and didn't close that menu and just left it for ages, then pressed back and it was all there, bar one mod, it wasn't even too badly out of order, definitely better than manually reinstalling them all lol, but this whole thing has been a nightmare
Ghost space. If you add and remove a lot of mods without ever clearing the reserved space and starting from scratch once in a while a build up of old files that are not fully removed will remain

Wanna know how i found out you can go beyond 150 mods? Back before i wiped it i had 600+ mods in my library. The thing that shows your installed mods. Because the update decided any mod you have ever used will go there. Anyways i did that and hit the install all button and got past the 5gb and got to 171 mods
So download your patches and dont install more then 251 esm files
So, basically, add to library -> download library -> 6 gig LO right?

Figured it out. Seems to be bugged on steam deck.
When you hit search, you have to press B to back out of the typing bar and then use steam + x to manually invoke keyboard so you can type into the ACTUAL search bar

Yeah but they are inferior in every way when you can just use a mod organizer on pc to just move your mods into a good load order. Theres also tools to download whole modlists without needing to do anything yourself. Plus skse and all the mods attached. Plus still 99% of mods are still on nexus and steam
nexus isnt as popular as it use to be with authors also steam doesnt do skyrim ae mods.beth mods arent inferior a mod is a mod where ever it is hosted
Nexus is still where most of the mods are tbh even if modders are hating it because they cant ruin peoples load orders by pulling there mods off the website anymore
alot of modders have been releasing on patreon the last few years

you said nexus is the main site for modders if they are breaking a rule that doesnt change that they arent hosting on nexus
Im all for tips and donations but dont hide your mod behind a paywall. If your good enough to make money off your mods make your own game like that one mod team did, or do what wardaddy and hyper do and do contract work for different studios
people dont donate to modders that is part of the reason beth started paid mods
Bethesda started payed mods because they were hemeraging money
they have costs aswell the same as modders i dont think starfield sold alot,(i think more were playing skyrim during its launch week)
It's only when someone's desperate for profit that they've become less noble and more shameful. On the other hand, when profits are lucrative, there's greater affordability to be noble.
arent people who got mods for free not making a profit by not spending anything on what it costs to make a mod why shouldnt the costs be shared with mod users

I doubt it would even amount to a full-time income, especially in today's world. As others might agree to it, if you have the skills of a modder, you should take them to the studios.

Take those skills, whether it be coding, texturing, 3D modelling, etc. to the studios that are hiring.

Then, just like any choice, I can freely judge that person based on their choices for whether they're wise or not.
Nexus still is the main modding platform by FAR, what are you talking about? Most mods on patreon are animations or cosmetic things such as hairstyles and armors, which are free on there for the most part
I know. 99% of the mods I download come from Nexus.

I'm still kind of confused about the ESL changes like, is it enough to save and ESLified record with more than 2048 records as an ESP with xEdit or would we need a script? Or are all mods made with the new tools completely incompatible with old versions? No clue to be honest

Question, unrelated to recent nonsense. Does anyone know whether scroll spells and player spells share IDs or not? I suspect they're different but not sure. A mod that edits scroll spells won't conflict with a vanilla spell mod, will it?
nah sorry, the scroll/spell is just a trigger, the same event is used for the spell effect(ususally)

It was, at least. There are enough decent ports and script/external asset free mods. I wouldn't recommend it if you have any other platform to use mods on, though
Vanilla is so dated, and it doesn't take much to make the game feel and look better

Some mods might of gotten scuffed in the transfer. I know an armor mod i was using was lost because of it and now the file size is at 0kb aka empty
I didn’t install them but I had them previously installed before the updated dropped and during the maintenance I was playing the skse easily and nothing was going on. But Bethesda has to drop this and broke couple of mods.

Actually if you hit the download all creations thing its more reliable. But you can get even better results by starting a playthrough with your mod list and then using that as your backup

I've made some mods in skyrim and Fallout 4, and did some test work for some bigger mods. I was working on a thing for starfield to make pilotable mechs. Made some mods for old doom, xcom, mechwarrior 5, and did some work on a few older games. Stopped generally modding a few months back and mostly miss it. Nothing really noteworthy shared openly. Just mostly share things with friends in a different discord who appreciate a good joke or two

People installing 500 mods is why we got the 150 limit to begin with. Skyrim has a hard limit of 251 esp files. Even on pc its hard to get around this. Its why a lot of small mods mark themselves as esl as esl files have a greater limit on the number they can have and they doubled it this update
Past 251 esp files and problems start happening since its an engine limitation and can be gotten around with bundles on console and pc has a different way of doing it where it basically tricks the game into thinking certian sets of mods are only a single esp or whatever

This is partially incorrect. The ESL plugin limit (at least on PC) has not changed. It's about 4095 plugins if I recall. What changed is the amount of new records an ESL plugin can hold, which is the same as Fallout 4 supports now, instead of half of the record space (2047 -> 4095)

I had to say goodbye to game of thrones dragons since the ussep increased size by 70mb or so or would also love to get mods like diverse dragons, upgrade my northern roads from 1k (and other mods) to higher resolutions
10 gb would be enough tbh but with 5 you're too limited
And 150 mod cap with mods like lux, lux orbis, lux via, northern roads, jks skyrim aio / jks interiors aio that require a million patches

Certainly not, it uses SKSE and has a variety of additional dependencies. Plus it's too good of a mod, Bethesda wouldn't dare include that... To think I wanted to work for Bethesda when I was little

I downgraded my game version from 1.6.1130 to 1.640. I also deleted the newly arrived ResourcePack files and MarketplaceTextures file. I cleaned up the new files using xEdit. I used the LOOT. Despite everything, I get CTD at the entrance to the game. Anyone have any ideas? Where am I making a mistake?

If you are using any ui mods that may be your reason… if your on console you may clear your reserved space but then that’ll get rid of all of your mods. Which u would have to down low again…

Is anyone else having issues with mods not staying installed to your load order? (Xbox series X) some mods I install, like the USSEP, character class overhaul, interior lightings, etc will let me download them to my load order like normal, but when I close out of creations and go back into creations or start a new character and check my downloaded creations they are disappearing from my downloaded creations/ content. When I go back to the creations/mod page and look for those same mods it’s acting as if I never installed them and have to redownloaded them over and over.

I removed most of my mods and left a few. So my remaining mods are SKYUI, address library, unnofficial patch, mcm helper, TrueHUD alternate start, sky shards and ordinator.
The issue is whether I use mod organiser or vortex, Skyrim won’t even open. Sometimes I get the message “couldn’t find SkyrimSE.exe”

@north crown unfortunatly thats not going to be possible other then maybe a setscale (make you bigger height wise) given that PS4/PS5 cannot have external assets (like meshes and textures that are required for body replacement mods)

Warning, do not install two different versions of the same mod, for example if you have a 2k texture and want to swap it out for 1k, make sure you delete the one you already have first or it messes up and will always try to have both installed. I wanted to test embers XD so installed it, then noticed the magical forces bundle, so installed that, intending to delete the embers XD I just installed, then it glitched, can't use either now lol (magical forces uses the same file name as embers XD so the patches work with it)
This has been known since 2016. It is remnant data. Skyrim players have called it "ghost" space.
I've never had this happen before, I've swapped around 2k/1k versions before without any issues, but now I can't use embers XD or magical forces because trying to install one causes both of them to appear

Bethesda.net seems to be connected to the load order so I'd go in and clear things up on the website to make sure you've got everything cleaned up. When the community forums first landed, they had a similar issue for PlayStation players where there would be mods in the library and the game still reading them since they don't have a reserve space to clear.

They've also got hit with a lot of people downloading. I think they had a burp or two today because of it. Have you tried letting the device rest for a bit? Also, if you're on Series, don't let the Quick Resume feature have priority. Load from a game that's been shut down properly.

If you're referring to the UNP body, no it won't be available on PS4 because it requires external assets. If you mean something else I need to know what UNP stands for in your case.

Hi everyone, I'm on an xbox series x and I was able to look at my load order this morning and maneuver around on Creations (search mods, check load order and so on). But suddenly I'm unable to do anything but click in and out of Creations. Like every button I hit except the back button isn't working. Just a heads up that should be passed to whoever wrote the article, the texture bsa filenames aren't uniform in the listing. Stuff like Textures8bsa should be Textures8.bsa for consistency. Specifically towards the tail end of the article.

Cleared reserved space twice
Uninstalled and reinstalled the game
Deleted my save files
Deleted persistent storage
Cleared my cache
And none of these have worked

no currently free mods will ever be paid mods
Mods have been renamed to Creations and are free while Verified Creations can either be free or sold, up to the author.
Are there any mods that give a new option like how you can be a werewolf or vampire is there mods that add new paths
thats not fair on people who released there mods for years
It is still mighty confusing to see the paid creations (which CANNOT be disabled, and are permanently at the top of the Load Order as "Creation Club") all among the same categories as the free mods (which CAN be disabled).
I believe the old system which kept the two categories separate, was better.
Also: A couple of mods appear to be in my "library" that have now been superseded by others, but I can't delete them from my "library". Example: The unofficial "Updated Creation Club Content" - which was invented especially to stop all Creation Club Quests starting at once, instead tying them to various in-game events or the reading of notes that were scattered around the game - is now superseded by the fact that, in the Anniversary Edition, all these Creation Club quests now indeed do start organically like that. (In fact I suspect what's happened is that all the proposed changes were officially adopted and became part of the standard versions of these Creations.)
I am unable to DELETE these: there is no DELETE option, even though they are not downloaded. If I download, I can then "disable" and "enable" (keep it on my computer, but stop it working) and/or "delete" (remove from my actual computer) but there is no way to delete them from my LIBRARY. How do I do this?
Kinda yeah, but also kinda not because they had already been released under the pretence that they were free (and to support with donations, which not enough people do)
they wernt released under any pretence they were just released so other people could use them,releasing a mod shouldnt take away a modders options
also... there are so many mods... that the lists are just too short to list them all, even in the "View All" view. Like, one of my mods is a small free home in Winterhold hold, "Underhearth: A Winterhold Home". But, because it begins with U, it doesn't get to show in the alphabetical viewing - which, in the main screen, barely gets further than the A's, and even the "view all" screen basically gets most of the way through the D's.
When they were released, they were released as free which the MA’s chose to release. Sure, they didnt have the option then, but they do now and ill gladly support MA’s for mods I like (preferably through third party so bethesda isnt getting a cut from someone elses work) but that wont be possible sadly

If I try to download Noble smim or a similar size mod with 500mb left (mod is 350mb) it'll throw a not enough space error
But if i download smaller mods with 500 mbs left it'll all work (I'm down to 100mbs left now and no errors have popped up)

Bethnet is now for some reason including the download size on top of the mods space
So skyland AIO is now technically worth 2gbs instead of 1
Really? strange, I thought I had ghost space (which I didnt have before the update) and reinstalled skyrim after getting the same issue. Maybe the play now is to download mods in order of file size if that is the case
ive seen people say it will try and download every mod with the same name (as an example if you download a 1k armor and there is a 2k version it will download both) i havent tested because i cant access the store,maybe somthing was download twice

Among the mods I have, some of them seem to require SKSE or SkyUI for their full functionality. But these are not available on Bethesda. I can get them via Steam, or via Nexus (and which of these versions is the most likely to be up to date, or to even function with the latest Skyrim update)?
And, for a couple of others, Bethesda has only an older version: the one on NexusMods is the one that is up to date.
How does all this interact when I am likely to need to use multiple different sources to actually load in mods? How does load order even work under these circumstances? Can this be explained in THE VERY SIMPLEST OF SIMPLE TERMS as if talking to a novice?
The simplest solution is to wait until the mods are fully updated to the current version of the game. SKSE is updated but not everything else is. Things are still in a bit of a state of flux seeing as the update only happened a few days ago. Give things a week or two. It is holiday season in many countries as well which may set back the update schedule for many. On NexusMods, you can track a mod for updates.
Another thing you could do is put in a request with the mod author to update the version on Bethesda or ask if they don't mind someone porting the updated version. You would then find someone to port it for you and be sure to tell them to contact the author to finalize the arrangements because the mod author must display the name of the porter in either the comments section or on the description of the mod for it to be considered a legal port to Bethesda.

Then you're gonna need to wipe your load order. Whatever ui you used is incompatible with the new creations menu
People have noticed some other mods other then ui mods doing this too so be careful. Use only the new Nordic Ui or elden scrolls ui that say updated till more get updated or made

For Context: the mods in question are Amazing Follower Tweaks and Immersive Amazing Follower Tweaks.
I do NOT want Immersive Amazing Follower Tweaks but the game keeps downloading it, no matter how many times i delete it. It also keeps making my game crash when I back out of Creations to reload my Mod Load Order. It also forces me to lose connection to the bethesda servers for a time.
I honestly just want Immersive Amazing Follower Tweaks mod to be delisted or something, so this can stop.

For me, I'm mostly underwhelmed and unsurprised by them. The worst part is that not only are these mods going to require patches, but are misleading, even of lesser quality than unpaid mods. And these mods are by people who now work for bethesda. Moreover the profit share is so bad that it makes nexus' model look almost good.

I'm having a similar issue. I'm trying to download Capital Whiterun Expansion, and it's automatically installing the compatibility version as well. Essentially doubling the size of the mod for no reason

I had the same issue with CBBE, and it was because both were in my libary. The workaround for me was, go on bethesda.net and remove one assuring only the one I wanted was present. Then wiping reserved space, and using the load order menu "download all creations" option from a vanilla reboot
I have HUGE problems with my load order on Xbox series.
I can't install anything, can't even search anything. When I manage to install something it disappears instantly when I return to my load order.

I came to share with you my experience with this new update on Xbox in relation to mods, which might help you.

Go to the Bethesda website and leave only the mods you will actually use in your favorites and in your library, I recommend removing the rest from your list to make the process easier.

Download all the mods one by one, you probably won't find all of them in the Creation Club library, so you'll probably have to search for the ones that aren't there one by one. I recommend using a cell phone together to identify those who are missing.

Download all Mods before organizing the loading order, as the probability of messing up this order is high if you install a new mod. Generating bugs and game crashes.

I recommend creating a new game. Unfortunately, the Update hurt the game a lot. When I reloaded my old save, it messed up the order of the mods, causing a bug in the game.

My crashes are not with the game running. Or anything like that, it is exclusive to when im in the load order screen. The screen where you actually do the load order organization
Then it could be because of how many you have with the new layout. I had around 120 and cut down by like 100 and mine runs fine and doesn't crash in the menu.
Any time I try to scroll down my list of mods there is a 80% chance of crashing to the xbox homescreen. Pre update it didnt happen. All that would happen with 150 mods was the bottom half of my list just did not load the preview images
The extra 57 mods i have installed are patches and small tweaks that used to be part of packs but those packs are not accessible thanks to being unable to see wip mods

It matters because depending on the order, it changes another mod, I had to change the order a few times for the Spartan Replacer mod to work with total armory, but the game is running at 60fps, I don't understand

From what I've seen, it adds desert resources, some new trees, a flat texture with some color variations, and 100 easy-to-use scripts.

Yes. I will add "Lily Pads" in the next update. These have been postponed from this update in order to figure out a better way to place objects on the water surface. There are three Lily Pad flowers with three color variations and one with large leaves.

wss just about to reply informing you about this. also worth mentioning that - Textures_Xbox.bsa is the second bsa, and it can only be used if a normal _Xbox.bsa is in use too.
for some reason it no longer detects - Textures, unless the other bsa is present. v strange alteration tbh.

I've been hearing from various players that the 150 plugin limit seems to have been lifted on xbox.
Wondering what anyone has heard about this. I'm inclined to think it a mistake or accident since it's mentioned nowhere I can find regarding the recent update.
Did they enable .esl functionality on xbox or something? That's about the only thing I can think of if it wasn't a deliberate change to the limit.

So, now we want the 2GB restriction to be increased for Fallout 4. That is way to low, especially since FO4 is more stable then Skyrim.

Well the biggest issue continually given why they couldn't was it would break load orders and losing the load order would break saves. It was saved in the same partition. Every save now saves and can re-download mods uses in that save as well as you can back up load orders to betheda.net a different partition. Thus if they do that yeah you jusy have to hit download load order or yes when loading a save and it's not broken and ya good with more space. That's based on what ik from the little they have said. At the very least I want a reasoning why they can't

Some people I think are calling for them to rollback the update because they don't like it. Asides the crashing and ui mods breaking I get a more stable game, better searching overall, cleaner controls that make it less likely to download a mod accidentally, saveable load orders great for clearing ghost space

Ensure that you've got creations enabled in your Xbox settings. Microsoft added an update to the settings in an OS update. Settings > Account > Game Content > Third option: "You can see and upload community creations" > Everybody

I have a sudden orange door problem on a modded house and i tried rearranging my load order, disabling certain texture mods, etc and its not gone!
Yes, had this since day one, I just click Yes to all, I used the creation kit plus fixes before that disabled warnings but this isn't compatible any longer
Edit I've also had a missing texture error or lighting map just before upload, again u just click Yes to all, everything seems to work fine I've uploaded
Orange objects are editor makers, report it to the porter or OMA if they ported it

quick headsup if nobody has told you or you havent found out yet, apparently the _Xbox.bsa does not actually work. it lets you upload, but when loading it in-game it breaks? instead it needs to be a lower case x, so _xbox.bsa

All I know is that the Creations menu will not show up if the Settings on the Xbox account does not say "Everybody". To access your Xbox settings hit the Home button in the middle of the controller to bring up the menu and scroll over to the last option. You can access the settings from there. Or you can access them from the Xbox app or the home screen/desktop on Xbox. On the Xbox desktop/home screen, scroll up to the top of the screen and press A on your gamertag icon. im using a alt account and can access creations on that account i was able to access creations on my main for around half a day before it stopped working,i dont have a tab called game content in settings/account are you using a beta

thats odd, ive not had any trouble uploading, I get the errors every time the esp is loading in and once during the actual upload if there is textures but its all working fine, I would suggest submitting a ticket

ok so there is something wrong with the .bsa I created...nothing to do with plugins. Are you letting CK create the bsa for xbox, or are you using archive alone to make them before opening the ck?
I always used the archive creation tool alone, and then let the CK detect the .bsa files and upload them

it is mostly complaining about textures when it is trying to upload the plugin and the bsa files..What I did was simply using catehdral asset optimizer to halve the textures size, then modify some meshes to hide the editor markers. Then used the archive creation tool to pack meshes and textures separately..I always tick the two options below "compress textures" for meshes
I compress as well, only things I dont are sound and music

I actually did this and the order was still off. I wound up with two separate blocks of mods. Both blocks were in order, but it was like two separate load orders. No idea why it happened. Maybe it's because I didn't clear reserved space? Not sure what that is, but I didn't want to lose mods that were taken off bethesda.net, so I left a few installed
Wiping reserved space means wiping your whole load order by going into whete your game saves are, finding the skyrim reserved space and deleting it before launching the game again. The only fix im aware of is to do that but it will wipe your load order

Without knowing the mod, and with console not having access to tools like xEdit, there is no easy way to figure it out.

Usually it will say on the description of the mods and would recommend where to list them.
Update : if you let the ck do the work, so it creates the bsa files, then the upload works just fine.
For those who don't know, if you use mods like Ryn's, JK'S, Spaghetti's, civil War outposts, or any mods that add world elements, they will interfere with the new Kingath EEE "creation."

Which CK are you having issues with?
Don't run the CK though any additional programs, like MO2 or the like. It takes up too many system resources. Just run through Steam. (I don't even like having to have Steam running in the background, but it is what it is.) If the CK is getting stuck packaging, go through your archive and make sure you do not have bad mesh. You'll need to sanitize the mesh and rebuild it if it's borked. For FO4, you'll need 3DS Max (not sure if you can do it with Blender). Someone who does Skyrim meshes will need to take you through the process of sanitizing a mesh in Blender for that game. You might be able to find the information at Beyond Skyrim wiki or someone here might know.
Go through your EditorWarnings.txt and see if there is a current issue. Search for <Current>. In FO4 CK, you can create a color warning for the Warnings Window, then just double-click the warning. It will take you to the problematic issue.

I've never looked at that one under the hood so I don't know how its set up, but if it's set with Lux Via as the master, then you've gotta have a file called Lux Via loaded in your CK. Lux.esp will then need a file called whatever the name of Lux Via is because Lux is now two mods instead of just the one.
the instructions for the resources are for PC players with mod managers. Xbox works totally different
if i try and load a save without a mod that I was using in the save, and it prompts me to download it, when I hit yes it will re download it but mix up my LO

So who wants to help make a vending machine mod to celebrate what will surely be Creations cooked into the release of Creation Kit for Starfield (and the game update attached)? Vending machine would be called "Third Attempt Vending powered by Creations" and would sell less useful versions of simple items like chunks food or whatever but at 1000x the price! - I think a determined team of modders could push hard and make it one of the first Creations to go live when they introduce it sometime next quarter!
Make the vending machine spit out a random item instead.

If you install everything manually, you gain a better appreciation for what the mod managers do and will be able troubleshoot any issues while using them.
You click on "sort".
That's how you sort your loadorder.
To update a mod, you download a newer version and replace the old one.
That much I understand but I mean all the YouTube videos that I watched said to download the updates from the official source whatever the hell that means
You download the mod again from nexus, then you update it.

Your mod just does not function with the new ui, and the new search is a bit better so you CAN find old mods
However take that one popular retexture mod with 300 mods under the same name and finding the exact one is impossible if it gets burried because the new search refuses to show it to you

the limit is 100 for all tabs, not a mod limitation. also - if your load order is too long and you scroll with the mouse wheel the game crashes consitently. they also removed the "all time" sort, wich is a shame
The limits are imposed for a reason. I wouldn't be surprised if they imposed them for bandwidth reasons.

Very pretty untill your game crashes to desktop because it wants to load all the previews so you can't organize your load order anymore after it hits a certian amount

I noticed it crashes less often if you scroll slower. instead of using my mouse wheel I use the arrow keys now. not saying its acceptable though
The old ui the mod thumbnails would stop loading of you scrolled to fast on a full 150 mod load order. Now im at a nice 216 and the game crashes if i sit on the load order screen for more then 5 seconds. I have to load into the load order and before any images are loaded scroll to the mpd to reorganize it. Its literally a race against time

We are. I've been fighting my load order for a week now and its only gotten worse as i add more small mods to my game to up that number and do ldittle tweaks since 3 of my mods were allowed port bundles but are stuck in wip for various reasons
So instead of using the bundle im using the individual mods
I have full AE on PC so prefer to play there with all the extra goodies and that way its just one download for the CC patch, but have some of the stuff for CC on Xbox. I have to wait til after the holiday season to update to the full AE on Xbox. My spouse's work is shutting down for 2 weeks starting next week so we'll be on an extremely tight budget. Better than last year though. Their work had an issue, shut down for their holiday and then couldn't get back up again so we were without power and heat.

I removed some mods to test yesterday and the crashing happened less often. fingers crossed they get a light patch in on the creation page, and maybe implement some more fixes before adding it to fallout 4 and starfield
Problems seem to start around the 120 mod mark. Its when the crashes start happening.
Thats been my experience as well. Nexus mod manager has helped greatly with testing. Still not a fan of vortex. I need to remember that xbox users dont have that option!
My mod number might increase again as i wanna break down my Enai mod packs and just use the individual mods since the mod limit is gone, im mostly doing this so i can use all the proper patches
I use the in-game manager for both. I have no need to use a mod manager. Loose files are horrible.

Some mods might have header issues that the in-game manager might not be recognizing? I'm not sure how closely Bethesda worked with tool creators for things like xEdit. I know that those in the CC program were not allowed to use it but there weren't specifics as to why.
I know that esl files are using different headers now. its possible new and old esl files are conflicting

I know the crashes are due to the preview images loading because it doesnt crash when none if the images have loaded yet

That seems to be the case.. the faster you scroll or the more in the list the more unstable it gets. I wouldnt think it was a connection issue, more likely a server issue or a storage issue (in game, not physical hardware storage)

No its just for the load order. In the load order organization screen if you load into the creations page right, then you quickly go into your load order while everything is loadingm no crashes
But if you wait for all the images to load and all that and then go into it 98% chance it crashes righ there
I think if they stored things in multiple pages it would help. like 100 mods a page. then refresh everything when you open the next list
Well the way it worked before the preview images would break and you could explore freely without problem as the images were not taxing the console or whatever code they used
The menu for FO4 is more robust. It's why I had so many warnings posted for the Skyrim version.
also interesting - heard they were going to announce some new creation currency thing. it looks like the page was updated in game and the price of credits increased

I think its more likely a caching issue in game. I have a 1gps download speed and am hardwired, still have issues on pc. the game probably has some sort of hard limit in place for images

Far as im aware yes. I know i use simple Workaround Framework and its built in. I always set it back to defult or i get this ugly little thing where the grass extends not fsr enough because the lod is low

It would make sense they removed it. There are a lot of settings you shouldn't touch. FPS being one of them since its tied to the Havok physics engine.

I would write your load order down outside the game. There a ton of spreadsheets floating around and Google has a free service for everything that is offered in LibreOffice and MS Office.
I just magically gained over 140mb of mod space so i know i lost something. My problem is i dont know what vanished because i csnt view my load order without it crashing the whole freaking game
Sounds like you just need to start over. Not worth the hassle. Nuke your reserve and your saves and just start fresh. Once a mod is removed it changes the load order anyway and the saves tied to the original load order are hosed anyway. The game engine is not designed to remove plugins. They're plugins not plugouts.

Maybe i gained so much because ussep lost some weight. Tho it isnt the first time my load order told me the wrong file sizes. Reconciliation is a 73mb download but shows as only 13 in my load order

Ok because i broke appart a Bundle my load order jumped from 212 to 236. This includes patches ive been unable to use thanks to the bundles name not matching what the patches needed. Also i dont know if every mod is gonna fit till i try lol

Skyrim hearth fire style system building mod where you find an abandoned system with automated mining facilities full of (clones?),( automated shipyards), (automated factories that make robot enemies). Maybe a bit too ambitious but just a somewhat small system the player can build up and make their home piece by piece.

You do know the hearthfire system evolved into the settlement system of fallout and then into the outpost system of starfield. Its wild that some one wants the hearthfire system.
But honestly how you describe it. Its more a buisness system like the mods that use hearthfire to make functional farms and mines for skyrim
I feel like the settlement system is a bit of a downgrade from the hearth fire idea it just feels so janky and don’t get me started on the outpost system.
Hearthfire is for designed a house with prefabs.

Also the settlement system is only janky when you dont wanna build them yourself. I like the freedom it has. The outpost system needed like 10 times more objects to make it actually fun and the ability to recruit more then like 2 npcs per outpostm it really was cut back.
Since inknow they will be bringing it to tes6 they need to make it onto a player home builder snd focus a lot on objects some one actually wants to use in there homes

I believe they are still using the same engine it is doable to use both the hearth fire and settlement creation methods to maybe make something better. Like you can buy or construct a structure even have it go underground to an extent and remove loading zones to make it cleaner while letting you free place decorations/furniture or letting you use the ship designer ui to build structures you can then place into the world and populate with furniture and have npcs frequent it to do things
Yeah it has the potential to be a lot more then it is that i agree with. Building your own prefabs that you can slap together into a live build would be fun. But we both know going underground without entering a load door is impossible unless the hole already exists there

To be honest you could trim the 120 systems down to 30 - 60 and cut the size of the game significantly
The size of the game is all the npc data, audio, all the ships, all of the lod data of literally thousands upon thousands of world cells
The games size isn't related to the number of planets
The data is so large due to visual, models, etc
Oh yeah the game uses 4k textures by like default. Like everything is in 4k. What is funny is that cod, a game not natively 4k is larger in size and with less content

If you want to see a lot of content with small disk space, you'll have to look at smaller games. NMS is 15GB of storage space.
Nms is just assets and data that says this planet should look thid way and generates it for you that way all while being the laggiest thing in any of the generated towns

Nope. While the content of the mods get better, the management of said mods only get worse. Like I literally spent 3 whole days fixing my LO just to get 65 mods to work in tandem with each other. My most recent problem was an added follower mod that made followers from my other mods attack anyone and anything.

That's why i love AFT AE since i can make any follower obey. It was how i fixed kaiden last year from attacking anything that moved and wasn't friendly even if it was 6 miles away
