fo3 achievements were differently built aka, built on GFWL while New Vegas had achievements by Steamworks (i think it was called that)
Fallout 3 also doesn't have Steam Cloud saves
Hmm I wonder if any PC gamer has a answer for me for this. Speaking of the old Fallout video games, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas keep getting updates every other day for me on Steam. Like I think it is Steams shader cashe stuff, but wouldn't the video game developer also have to do some updates to the video games? Like I would assume Bethesda and Obsidian updating Fallout 3 and or Fallout New Vegas to work for the soon to be released Steam Deck, etc? Here is a picture I took of Fallout New Vegas's update for today. I do wish MicroSoft would remaster/update Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas more though. Oh nevermind I cant post my picture, but they get updates in only a few hundred kb every other day.
Yes this as well!
I am unsure, I personally haven't received any updates recently for any of those games
What would nuka cola taste like
Take pepsi, dr pepper, coke, mr pibb, sams cola and mix them together. Add a splash of sprite and there you go
Toss in a shot of crown and you get nuka dark
so the fallout timeline is 76 - 1 - 2 - 3 - new vegas - 4?
Yeah.
um ur missing two game but yes
Yes, you're missing everyone's favourite, Falllout: Brotherhood of Steel, sponsored by Bawls.
Fallout 76 - 2102
Fallout - 2161
Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood Of Steel - 2197-2198
Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel - 2208
Fallout 2 - 2241
Fallout 3 - 2277
Fallout: New Vegas - 2281
Fallout 4 - 2287
Where in the timeline does Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel (2004) sponsored by Bawls show up?
Anyone have any guesses where the next Fallout will take place in?
the usa deep south
im talking like Louisiana Mississippi Alabama Georgia Florida you knw where English is no longer the native language and travel by air boat is more normal
America. You're welcome.
i can do one better north america continent
Ohhh you’re so smart. Thanks for the setting guess Captain Obivous.
Thanks for actually answering like a decent person. 😂
no problem i only put those as suggestion cause i so want to see Bethesda raiders and supper mutants talk with a southern accent and use airboats
fallout frost (mod)
fallout 76
fallout of nevada (mod)
fallout 1
fallout sonora (mod)
fallout 1.5 (mod)
fallout tactics
fallout 2
fallout 3
fallout new vegas: new california (mod)
fallout new vegas
fallout new vegas: dust (mod)
fallout new vegas: the frontier (mod)
fallout 4
not sure about shelter and BOS
he was asking for the timeline with out mods which i posted already
My own preference for a setting is Chicago. It has ties to nuclear weapons and its history of organized crime could provide an amusing theme (much like cheesy cowboy movies provided the theme for New Vegas). But that is probably unlikely.
If they continue the trend of setting Fallout games games in the original 13 colonies then the area around Atlanta could be a possibility. A twisted version of a Confederate theme (much like Fallout 4's Minutemen) might be possible with that location.
But if I were a betting man I would place my money on New York City. They seem to like to set their single-player games near large cities and New York City could be a return to the grimmer tone of Fallout 3. The theme for that game could be ghouls (possibly even with a playable ghoul race).
My guess is back out west once again if they continue the pattern.
hippity hop hippity hee ncr is on my property :l
All three Bethesda Fallout games have been set in the east. So if they do continue the pattern the next game will be set in the east as well.
what do you guys think the next fallout game will take place?
can i get some help with new vegas
fallout 3 started in summer, fallout 4 in autumn, the plot of fallout 5 will begin in winter probably
my dream is new york, but if boston downtown was hell for many people's pc to run, not sure an even bigger city will play nice. but since i'm not american, i dont really have any preference in the end, it all same thing at the end for me more or less ^^'
I’m hoping for New York as well. 😊
Kinda said my idea in the lore channel but I think Alaska, particularly in and around Anchorage, would make a good setting
You know I'm still going with the deep South I want to see super mutants with a Southern accent
That would be hilarious
cue shrek super mutant getting out of his hut and yelling at us to get out of his swamp
Lotta folks have tossed around the idea of New Orleans as a good spot
Could have some kind of voodoo faction
so like the swampfolk but hopefully better fleshed out?
just dont give them the same +35 damage bonus, that hurted so much
Reason swampfolk were so damn hard was bc Bethesda was using the old Oblivion level scaling system
they also had that bonus 35 damage to all their attack, which made them hit so hard no matter your level >.>
Point lookout overall was a good dlc except for that
it made my rng trash can search for a confederate hat and guns more exciting when going in at lvl 5 to say the least xD
I think it would be best if it was set in Canada cause that would give insight on how the Canadian Government felt about Anchorage and how harsh was the Canadian annexation, also good heart super mutants
If they do choose Canada I’ll be disappointed if they don’t add any South Park references
Same
I doubt fallout shelter contributes to fallout lore
if shelter was canon then Vault 666 would be real, same with Wastelander outfit being the Dead Money ghost outfit
shelter isn't canon
probably just a small project
it honestly gets boring after a while
what i do to have fun in shelter is simply build and "roleplay" ingame such as having a random dweller wear a Formal Suit and name him Overseer
Or arm my Quest teams with PA's and act as if in they're new Faction
but still, isn't as fun as the good fallout games
the best thing i have yet about shelter is i always build Overseer's office on Ground level and build small 1 room per floor
True, but at least its something than copycats
if Fallout Shelter online wasn't Asia only it would be nice i suppose
Im counting the games from fo3,nv, and fo4. I completely forgot about 76 when I wrote that so that statement was wrong from the beginning. But I wouldnt mind seeing an east Texas, northern Louisiana, Missouri game
Or for them to actually make the Miami game that was done as a fan made trailer a few years ago. Or a mod I honestly can't remember which one that was.
Now that I think about it, 4 partly predates 76 in terms of timeine due to the intro so it technically should be on the timeline twice...
shelter online said goris had kids so…
Its not a Bethesda game. That one was made by obsidian with Bethesda help
For the same reason there is no TES Online chat
Hi! I need a help with Fallout Shelter.
It takes me about 11350 (real)hours for the next call of the citizen from the wasteland. I read on Wiki that it takes minimum 1 hour for the call from the wasteland. I think you got me and can help me. Thanks.I have a "3 roomed" Radiostation and and 3 citizens in it with average level of charisma 5.5
You should also mention the platform.
My bad👍 I got the mobile app. Android v11.
do you have like a camp in FNV or are you basically a nomad?
I usually use the room house gives you.
I have 1 question. It might have been asked before, or even ignored completely. But, What happened to the other heavy machinery? All we see are loaders and cranes. Where are the bulldozers, graders, rollers, etc?
stuff was probably prebuilt and just put together on the construction site
That would explain why everything fell apart so quickly.
im not sure if it just really kinda got destroyed, dug deep or taken into one of Military Base for a quick reconstruction post war, but i think most of Heavy Machinery could actually be used by hand since we all know Fallout Universe tech is way more better and revolutionary than ours
It might be possible to drag some equipment with Brahmin, but some of it is too heavy. Rollers could've become part of several caravan trailers seen in early Fallout games, but if you have seen graders and bulldozers (tread tractors in the US IIRC), they're way too heavy.
I would suggest a lot of the heavy machinery simply wasn't created for use as scenery, without any special lore implications.
I was just looking through my game library and saw fallout 1. That's when I thought, "It would be amazing if they did a remake of 1 and 2."
There is an "abandoned" mod to remake Fo1 in FNV Engine, supposedly some people got the project and work on it, but don't guarantee its gonna be finished
I'd even settle for that, but obviously the best would be an actual BGS remake of it.
I'd love to explore Florida in Fallout. It'd be fun to have something involving the launch site for Apollo 11.
The good part about the FNV 1 Remake is that only Shady sands is half done, same with the first vault you explore
can you say hillbilly super mutants
Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel 🤡
Fallout Shelter
I forgot those two 🤦♂️
Welp… the bot took my message away
When I tried to add them
There was too many emoji
The bot doesn't like those games
XD
With the mutations, I'm surprised haven't run into two-headed humanoids or ones with multiple arms (more than 2) for multiple weapons. If not mutated, would be cool to see some more formidable bots.
I'd kill for a classic fallout collection of the games before 3
Can't you get them somewhere for free, or was that the first 2 elder scrolls games?
you are a collection
Please keep discussion on the topic of Fallout. Off topic chat can be held in #off-topic
Am I the only one kinda upset that Salvaged NCR Power Armour was pretty much taken off the menu through the changes to power armour as a whole? I'd love to see someone try and make it work with the Fallout 4 kind, maybe saw off the feet and some of the forearm pieces since there's no frame?
marine armor is pretty much downscaled power armor from the aesthetics perspective
The ncr never made it to the commonwealth. But maybe a deserter made it through legion territory and worked theyre way all the way to the commonwealth could be a cool rp run
Yeah but I want to see someone wearing power armour plates that are too large and bulky to fit properly over their limbs. Kinda like what the robot armour does, now that I think about it... But way more unwieldy.
They would have to be as strong as a supermutant to even move around like that
I love playing as characters like that, so strong they can flatten a Raider's head in the palms of their bare hands and can wield the Prydwen as a melee weapon (the latter's an impressive mod, look it up)...
I got you. You want a Hercules as a character
Theres a backpack mod that allows you to keep equipping the same backpack and your weight stats keep going up. I found that out by accident I was trying out different backpacks looks trying to get the style I would wear irl. Before I knew it I had 4,000 weight limit
Lets go fallout tv show has been announced to release this year by amazon
no, it was announced to begin production this year
riiight that was a thing...
I'm really curious where they will go with that story wise
I would give that show a watch. Hopefully they do it good
Bethesda give us Fallout Shelter sequel
would be fun, instead of running a vault, could be a wasteland town building/management for a different space/perspective^^
(and to ''fit'' with name, could be a town build around a vault ala vault city, our vault got the all clear signal and emerged, and we get to building)
Yeah that'd be fun to create a town like Goodneighbor or Megaton
Or start one from scratch like sanctuary
The idea is great but like building would be very lacking for me
I can only think of a scrap shack and that is it
I built a tower in one and an outdoor vault at taffington that was 3 stories
i strugling thinkin how to make it work/look with current design (would be weird to have a town that need 2 hour to scroll one side or the other whwn fully built, or making ',reverse'' vault and building a skyscrapper sound silly too) though maybe a top down view could work. also the main quest could be trying to contact/find the all clear signal and that could be interesting
I understand but like most if not all non player settlements are simple scrap shacks with alot more uses than a normal house
For me the biggest issue to build in is hangman alley and Jamaica plain
*i mean source of the signal, probably assume it vault-tec since that what the dweller grew up believing, but then realize vault tec is no more,so you go on a wild chase to figure who send the signal since only thing that is certain is it came from somewhere out there
hangman alley was my favourite, cramped alleyway town was fun with the verticality it offered
I usually make Jamaica plain seriously unrealistic and build off the broken second floor and put the food in the parking lot
i usually defaulted to building walled town/ forts, so jamaican was another walled town for me
All i did in building settlements were just junk walls and some small mattresses and just kept on going
except in sanctuary and castle, fortified them both to hell
for me it castle i struggled to build. didnt really had inspiration beside patching holes in walls, adding turrets for defense and filling the inside of the walls with bunk bed and ammenity
My castle build was just patch the big holes in the walls and spammed tato's everywhere
Often laser turrets too
only in my final run i turned it into a major city since i build the world according to a personal head canon after a raider/institute victory and castle was one of the last free civilized holdout on surface openly defiant
Fortifying Sanctuary is so easy
Last time i built up sanctuary was only cover the workshop house with walls
sanctuary is fun but can be also challenging depending on how you want to build. i usually use it as training ground for later build, or end up turning it into major raider base for the north quadrant
My usual strategy for sanctuary was to wall it off with junk walls cause it seemed really effective (yes i did also cut off the access to the river because safety from raids)
one of my first build was fortifying entire island/build perimeter but ended up with something too large and got annoyed trying to find companion or npc to assign them job, so later i started to wall the player's house and the front one and the 2 next making a smaller box to build
I've only done concrete walls at the drive in. The rest i usually don't mess with walls since the synths just teleport in anyways. And the brotherhood has vertibirds so I use the navy's idea of a wall of lead. Turrets on the roofs of buildings and put up the bridges and put missile turrets on em. And depending upon the play thorough I will either make my settlements better then diamond city or ill just put enough turrets up to shutdown any attacks
the drive in was fun, could build uber large or go for a smaller pit stop kind of camp fortifying only the dinner and just enough to have some space around
Yeah I usually go big at the drive in. Its the best settlement that you can actually build how you want without much getting in the way
Did someone ever encounter that bug in New-Vegas when you exit the Gomorrah, your companion’s weapon (exemple Boone and his rifle) is never given back?
No but I encountered a bug where I managed to get Boone into Legion armour. Was seeing him malding over them while wearing their gear...
Anybody having problems with fnv or fo3 dlc with the xb1/xb360 editions on xbox one?
I can download about half of the dlc from the microsoft store but cant install the beginner item packs for fnv
Fo3 i had issues with but I think it was more if an internet issue cause they're all downloaded now
I found a free caps glitch in New-Vegas. Talk to Fisto and end the dialogue. It will give you 10 bottle caps. You can spam that glitch as long as you want. Even if 10 isn’t much, after some minutes of spamming it gives a decent amount of them
bruh i hate how you have to rebind your weapons every single time you enter and leave a casino
Get your sneak high enough and never worry about that again
yeah i guess, but i use a cowboy build that mainly has a lot of one-shot weapons and doesn't really incorporate sneaking
new vegas remastered or remake pls.
What would need to be changed?
I think the graphics hold up pretty well
Not as timeless as source but still pretty good
isnt there a New Vegas with updated graphics on psn store for $99.99
if I refund fallout new vegas, will it work if I buy it again using VPN to get it on english?
because I got the german low violence one and it only comes in german, and german sounds weird in games
anyone?
Low violence?
I believe if I remember correctly the german low violence version had a lot of the gore cut out of the game.
Ooh
if i remember, games sold in germany change some thing compared to other countries
Even more so in Australia from what I heard.
sometime it can make it super funny, like the necromancer dungeon being nicknamed the ''bread factory'' from wow in china thank to prop being replaced by bread everywhere^^
German games are usually censored to remove gore and such. Fallout 3 and NV are censored a decent amount there.
if i remember some game of past, they replaced soldier/cops with robots since shooting authority figures is a nono but robots are fine. also probably mix in with the no blood/gore since it don't count if what you shoot leak oil and electricity i guess?
This might seem like an odd question, but how many people still play Fallout Shelter?
what a missed opportunity shelter was. such a unique design and a great hook.
all followed up with complete neglect.
Can confirm, in German Half-Life 1 HECU is replaced with robots
It's not all that consistent, if you already have the relevant game, you won't get it magically replaced by a censored version
I don't think they even bother at this point.
think depend where you account is bound location/country wise
As someone who was buying games while living in Germany, most didn't have a distinct German version, if not all.
Is the American px still in Wolfgang? They used to allow yall in there to shop back in 2004-2006? You should be able to buy an American copy there
Sorry I tagged the wrong person. The above comment was for you
Right? The game itself was sooo good. Especially for a mobile game. Really want to see content updates here again or a sequel
well there’s fallout shelter online. region locked to asia. and apparently it’s a totally different game, but some of the graphics are very similar.
Whyyyyyyyyyy won't they implement using the NUMPAD for my hot keys. Can you, and I just cant figure it out?
Yeah. It's a serious shame it turned into a classic mobile game
where's the channel dedicated to new vegas
Thats not a Bethesda game
Dang
Anyone still play fallout shelter?
get suprised, yes
We have this one. And lore always gets filled up with arguments over how individual sentiments on the frontier translate to the NCR as a whole.
Same
Actually I just started playing shelter and im horrible at it
its always like there's often a shortage of everything but once you do quests and gain caps, all you gotta do is spam the same thing over to not get shortages
The game is just like the others, technique that's what is key and also like chess, think abead
Im better now. But I just messed up at first my power rooms were stacked on top of each other instead of side by side. Same as my diners and the first 3 levels are just a mess. But I figured out what I did wrong so going down lower will be better
Got a FNV question about Raul real quick and wanted to know if someone had an answer.
If I did old school ghoul and got 'old Vaquero' option, do you still get to keep Raul's original Regular Maintenance perk?
please reply with an @ on though c: thanks
Hi, all. Where I can write my wishes about Fallout 5?
in the #fallout-support place? 🤣
Thank you) Found already)
I think so
sounds great

is there not a fo1 and fo2 chat?
Hello, this server is for titles made by BGS specifically. You are free to discuss FO1 & FO2 either here in #fallout-lore though!
Anybody know if the NCR officers (Lieutenant Hayes, Sergeant McGee and Lieutenant Monroe) still go to Forlorn Hope if you complete We Are Legion before completing their quests?
makes sense thanks
does anyone know how to take off mouse acceleration on fallout new vegas
Is there a place here I can promote a Fallout podcast?
I would think it was in the game settings
I found a 10 pound dirty pre war parkstroller clothes at the Mojave Police station otw to Mojave outpost in FNV
It was in a suitcase in the police car i wonder if it is one of a kind
Why do terminals say ''Copyright 2201-2203 Robco Ind'' in NV, When there would't be a any copyright filling offices left after the great war
Probably corrpted records.
I dont even want to know what made it so dirty that it weighs 10 lbs
Me either but its in my uniques collection rn
Lol reminds me of Joe dirt and his meteorite
Also spiked knuckles early game in fnv is S tier
Shoot those are awesome in nv for a melee build
I was popping heads off left right and center
Nice
And that was with 20 unarmed and some pyscho
Damn
Once i get piercing strike and slayer ooohh
Hey guys, just joined this channel. Pretty cool. I think this is just slack for gamers 🙂 We use slack a lot at work.
i like the old was better were can other players C.A.M.P
Just got love and hate at lvl 9 from bonnie springs was a nightmare but im walking away 2000 caps richer
I know that feeling, dodging the plasma grenades, blasting the Cazadores or using VATS at the right time to teleport behind them, pure pain.
I had like 30 sticks of dynamite and 140 rounds of 20 gauge, all was gone by the time i was done with the vipers and cazadores lol
What was true pain was taking down the Legendary Deathclaw... At level 13. After that, nothing felt like a challenge.
The real pain was the Matriarch and the whole bunch of them at the entrance, after I got Mercy everything was a cakewalk. It took getting the ones at the entrance to come out after me then get back in, breaking the matriarch's legs with my missile launcher from the Lonesome Road DLC (took several reloaded saves, since most of the time it'd break my legs and not hers for some reason) then plinking her to death.
Jesus i was barely brave enough to fight them with the ratslayer critical build at level 50
Welcome to Camp Navarro! So, you're the new replacement...You are out of uniform, soldier! WHERE IS YOUR POWER ARMOR?!
uhh I don’t have any sir!
Hey,
Sorry to bother you guys, but maybe someone can help me. Im making a fan made Fallout interactive novel book just for fun so everyone can read and share it for free. The question is that will the devs allow this or will shut it down? Its made to be free for all, no profit at all. Thanks so much!
Here's the fan video policy: https://bethesda.net/en/article/3XrnHrB0iAesac8844yeuo/bethesda-video-policy
Thanks, but this is for video only? Or applies to text also? The book only uses the existed Fallout Universe and creates a seperate location. Can you give ma simple yes or no?
You'd be better off sending in a ticket or email for further information. That policy is all I can share
Can you give me that specific email?
Should be under the Contact link at the bottom of the page
I think this would be basically like any other mod or fan conversion. Bethesda isn't Take Two and they won't turn on their fan community.
I will send a email later today, but Im not sure they will respond. I hope it will be fine to do it and share it with everyone that will want to read it.
Im already 5500 words, 14 A4 pages. The book will have a Main Quest, Side Quests, Locations, Level system, Perks, etc. Every Side Quest will have multiple endings, as the Main Quest. Done some small artwork. I worked on it for 7 hours now and what to see what I can do in 100 hours.
Might need to wait roughly 4 days for a reply
I will wait. Still writing it and doing artwork
Who else would love to see a Fallout game set in Tennessee? Giving the Kings a base in Memphis, and a stronger role in the franchise.
Welcome to Camp Navarro! So, you're the new replacement...You are out of uniform, soldier! WHERE IS YOUR POWER ARMOR?!
Sgt dornan is epic
It'd be funny to talk to him while using something that makes it look like you're on fire and saying "this IS my uniform!"
I wouldnt mind seeing one set in Nashville. Theres plenty of tourist traps and between titan stadium, Opry mills mall, Nashville speedway, and the grand ole Opry theres some other great places for settlements. Not to mention all the mansions there
East Central Commonwealth (Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee going North to South) might be nice to explore.
Louisiana tho- swamps hills pine forests, new orleans, baton rouge, etc
I’d like revisiting San Francisco in the new 3D Bethesda style
Yeah ft Campbell, ft Knox, bowling Green, the 4th street in Louisville, not to mention Jeffersonville is right across the river. Plus you have the horse track and theres a speedway in Louisville. I wouldnt be opposed to fallout being done in either place
I would love for a fallout to be done in the swamps of Louisiana but that would make for a more boring play through in my eyes. Other then new Orleans and baton rouge theres Shreveport but I have a feeling new Orleans would be a wash since I am betting it would be underwater
Alexandria lake charles monroe vidalia plenty of towns plus barksdale and fort polk
Yeah thats true. But those are fairly small towns. They would be like doing point lookout all over again. And that map would be huge. Like actually huge. Would make skyrim feel like a joke
I think skyrim was the size of new jersey. Louisiana is way way way bigger then new jersey. I could dig it. Try to navigate that map without a hud would be amazingly fun and frustrating
They could add references to Vault 79 in Ft Knox, and have some fun with it.
For louisiana all of them cept vidialia are big towns iirc
@quasi sentinel Check which Commonwealth covers Louisiana. That's how the Fallout world was run.
Gulf Commonwealth covers Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida. The whole area would be like having Wild Wasteland active.
It feels like the heat death of the universe will arrive before the next single player Fallout game.
Is there a spot to promo a new fallout podcast
I could dig a Louisiana based game. You would need a kayak and I would dread seeing what the alligators look like now. Like holy hell talk about that alligator from rampage
Not really here there isn't. Theres another chat called the apocalyptic aristocracy that you can promote podcast on
Gatorclaws.
No those are closer to alligatorlizards mixed with a deathclaw. I thought thats what they were anyways. Imean the actual alligators just bigger
I was giving a general direction Bethesda might take with that idea.
Im still partial to my rampage alligator idea. I mean the largest alligator irl was between 30ft and 40ft long
You really expect Bethesda to make a whole new animation set?
we had gatorclaw in nuke-world, could be what we would see as mutated alligators?
Keep in mind that the Gatorclaw isn't just an Alligator. It's an Alligator mixed with a Deathclaw and FEV.
If you took both of those parts out and just had a straight mutated alligator, it'd likely be very different
They might re-use some animations from Mole Rats/Hounds etc. But creating new animations takes effort.
I figure we won't see a new fallout until atleast 2025 maybe 2030
Also keep in mind other then mirelurks we dont have any aquatic animals
Your second number is more likely to be correct. We won't be seeing TES VI until 2025 or 2026. If it turns out to be the latter of those two dates that would put a Fallout 5 release date around 2029 or 2030.
In addition, those release dates assume that Fallout 5 will be released after TES VI. If Starfield 2 is released after TES VI then we can expect Fallout 5 to be released around 2033 or 2034.
Good morning! I have a question. I am sure the answer is in game somewhere, but I can’t find it at the moment. The FEV was created by West-Tek’s NBC division. What does the NBC stand for? Thanks in advance.
Googling "West-Tek’s NBC division" brings up this Fallout Wiki page about West-Tek NBC: https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/NBC_Division#:~:text=The NBC Division was a,America for centuries to come.
Nuclear biological chemical? Atleast if they follow real world
I thought it was something like this, just wanted to make sure. I am writing a fan fic and it ended up there, so need to know for accuracy’s sake. Thanks 🙂
Thank you. I do have the wiki bookmarked, but it doesn’t exactly say what the NBC stands for on that page. That is unless I overlooked it 😳
Since West-Tek did contract work for the U.S. government and one of its two divisions contains the word "Biomedical" my guess is that the first two letters stand for "National Biomedical". If I had to guess I would say the third letter probably stands for "Corporation".
NBC is definitively nuckear biological chemical.
Since PVP was originally a counter for Chinese bioweapons.
I never understood how so many people thought new vegas was underrated
Or how many thought the fallout games were so bad. For me new vegas was the least buggy
Where can I write my problems for my game for Fallout 4? Would that be here?
Thank you very much
Embed fail.
Pretty ironic as to how Fallout/TES take pride on going off and making their own stories in Bethesda's games but then shouted them down when they gave fans a multiplayer game that took that idea to its logical conclusion.
And now they're satisfied with a single-player centric game with multiplayer elements, making the player an errand boy again
They really have a fallout shelter chat but no 1/2/NV chat? wtf
Hello, this server is specifically for Bethesda Game Studios titles.
well I know where the door is, later dude
I laughed at this tbh because people are still talking about fallout 2 in #fallout-lore ....bye

VoD, you have the power to make those chats happen.
hey have any of you experienced a bug in NV where you're working for Mr. House and you need to blow up the brotherhood bunker and you go to the terminal, put in all the passwords, and begin the self destruction sequence but the bunker doesn't blow up when you exit it
wait nevermind it blew up
forget you read all that please
I swear paladin it wasnt an explosion you heard. it was....ah....ehm...a very loud party that going on, yes. they celebrating what?.....hmm, the....invention of power armor?
Word of advice -
Don't play NV without YUP and NVAC and Uncut Wasteland and JSawyer Ultimate Edition
it was sad you had almost no choice but to dislike the West brotherhood after playing fo4 or 3
I kept them alive just because and veronica but still acknowledge theyre god damn losers
They're reactionary techno-fascists, what do you think?
Embed fail.
Yeah, I was trying to post this: https://twitter.com/Tagaziel/status/1488058819490062337
Hey guys, i was thinking of making a falout fan game called Fallout Amarica. Please let me know if you like my idea
I would enjoy that. 50 different games for all 50 states
14 games for the 13 commonwealths, and Canada.
That makes much more sense
We have Appalachia in 76, Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 4, Capital Wasteland in 3, Mojave in NV. That's the ones I can recall.
Im still trying to find what all 13 commonwealths there are. I found references to the 1964 commonwealth act. But there's literally zero information on what that was. And there's references to all 50 states prior to 2077. So im very confused about the 13 commonwealth thing
There's maps available online for them.
I'll list them from NW to SE, going from West Coast to East Coast as they appear in maps
North West, North, Midwest, Eastern, New England, South West, Four States, Plains, Texas, East Central, Gulf, Columbia, South East.
Canada had been annexed pretty much immediately before the Great War, so it hadn't been ratified as a 14th Commonwealth.
@quasi sentinel I accidentally listed regions. Commonwealths were collections of different states. Regions are used for game setting.
mitten squad made a video about the history of fallout it’s a short 6 min video https://youtu.be/WulbADFktQ8
I think there’s a map about it in there
I wanted to post a map, but I can't.
@torn dune your status says you'd be in the South East Commonwealth.
West Virginia is in the Eastern Commonwealth.
The colonial flag was reused in Fallout because of the change to the way government worked prewar. Let's continue this in #fallout-lore
Yeah I would be. I found the maps waiting on my kids to get out of school. Seems like thats a more of a regional government thing. Cause all the states are still states.
It just added another level of bureaucracy.
Its more like 1 game the entire American wasteland
And i might add a mode where you can keep the glitches so it feels like an actual fallout game
Thx
Hello all, quick question. Most importantly to the admins. If i wanted to make merchandise or things to be sold, like most fans do, as a small business in theme of some Bethesda games. Would it be okay? Or would i need to seek for permission?
Cause i have many ideas, for clothing, props, and costumes. And also ive been making a book based on my gameplay in 76. And would like to know if it were okay to take the Fallout 76 logo, and add a tad bit of editing just for said book
Yes, you need to seek permission. Everyone is required to secure permission before they use intellectual property that belongs to someone else.
You might try try this page: https://www.zenimax.com/en/more
...idk what im exactly supposed to do there
I only buy in caps
?
Hi Timmy. 👋🏽 Do what?
They were banned.
Something bannable, obviously.
I have no idea what’s “bannable,” but I know how to behave myself (usually), so I’m not worried.
General discussions about the Bethesda/Interplay/Black Isle created Fallout games.
I’m not hip to who all the players are. Fill me in on Interplay & Black Isles?
Eg tips on storyline events in Fallout 1.
(Please?)
Interplay and Black Isle Studios made Fallout 1 and 2.
I didn’t start until 4. 76 got me through lockdown. Is there a place for those?
Thanks! Not sure I’ll ever figure out Discord though, lol. Have fun with the OG Fallouts! 🖖🏽
Quick question
When did every fallout game take place
theres plenty of guides on youtube
3: 2277. NV: 2282/2283. 4: 2287 (1 Scene in 2227). 76: 2102.
I can't remember when 1 & 2 take place, but they're between 76 and 3.
(2161 and 2242.)
Thank you. I was too busy trying to figure out how the games worked to even try to memorise that.
hello, i'm here looking for help on how to fix an issue i have with falloutNV, my game won't save ever, not even auto saves, can someone help please
Which platform is this for?
pc, windows 10
Generally this is due to something blocking that save from writing, like folder permissions or Antivirus. While it's listed as Fallout 4 instructions, these may help. https://help.bethesda.net/#en/answer/54397 . If that doesn't, place in a ticket into our support team.
Thx
still doesn't seem to be working, how can i make a ticket?
You can submit a ticket here: https://help.bethesda.net/#en/home/product/370
I have a question dealing with New Vegas
how to i have butt frame rates in new vegas? i dont understand considering my pc build is pretty current
do*
It’s the game’s fault
Optimization wise it’s bad, really bad
I think you can hit like 60 FPS max
Try downloading the 4 GB mod
hey i have a suggestion for fo5: i think it should be someplace swampy like Alabama Florida or Georgia i also think it should have a southern rural America theme and also a better hunting system like skinning the animals and stuff. that would be awesome
Sounds like basically RDR2 with a Fallout makeover.
that would be awsome
Mutated horses for mounts.
At high levels with Animal Friend perk have the ability to ride alligators.
yes
lol
That is in Far Harbor.
i didnt know that i normally new vegas though
Rolling Block Rifles would be a nice addition.
Keep the Legendary drop system from 76, and see the utter chaos.
legendary drop system?
Legendary enemies can be 1-3 stars, and the higher the stars the better chance you have of getting extra effects. Eg: Vampire's Bashing Mighty Minigun. That could be a potential drop from a 3* Legendary enemy.
ok
It is a game mechanic added to Fallout 4: https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Legendary_weapon_effects
In recent Fallout games like 4 and 76, you have a possibility to get a Legendary enemy to spawn. They can have weapons or armor with extra effects.
oh yeah the legendary enemy's drop named gear
It isn't necessarily named. Eg in Fallout 4 there's a Behemoth named Swan. He always drops a power fist that has the Furious effect: increasing amounts of damage on each hit on the same target.
ik swan
to the people who think Fallout 4 is a bad fallout game. could you give me some reasons why you think that? I'm writing an essay on both sides of the argument so anyone who disagrees please feel free to say why
supposedly "bad story", that's how i remember every fight over FO4, but i prefer f4 gunplay way more than fnv
badly optimized, simplified perks, poorly implemented weapon modding is just a straight progression (no real choice), doesn't have certain mechanics introduced in FNV and older fallout types (such as ammo types and durability), not many unique weapons and armor, visual design went too far away from the originals
4 option dialogue system criticized even by its devs, lack of skill checks
@umbral sky did 76 do it slightly better?
each fallout added something the former lacked/could have to be better, if using fallout 3 as basis, new vegas added better gunplay than it had and weapon modding who both where very well received, fallout 4 improved on these 2 front and made it deeper and added a new thing, settlement, for those who like building their own house instead of buying pregenerated ones/develop the wasteland by settling it, which was improved a lot on with 76.
In Fallout 5 I'd like to see Skill/Perk Checks/dialogue options, and a preset of having Wild Wasteland on the player character.
think they added some basic skill check in 76, but a little too easy to cheese (put on a couple piece of unyielding armor and no skill check will ever be a problem (minus endurance, but only found 1 and wasnt worth it lol)
also the plot is pretty meh, the main conflict (whether or not synths are humans) is too simple and old, there are discrepancies such as synths not needing to eat but at the same time being indistinguishable from humans
made it deeper
fo4 doesn't have jamming or ammo types like NV does
modding in fo4 isn't all that great because it's mainly just an another way to progress
there's not much choice really, it's receiver level 1 > receiver level 2 > receiver level 3
tbh i wonder where a fallout 6 would even take place
I would love to see Chicago as well.
fr Chicago and New Orleans are places I really wanna see
We haven't had Fallout 5 yet.
Skip it
If Bethesda develops a Fallout game, expect an East Coast US state to be the setting.
I really wouldnt mind SF area, or a more inland state/setting
Then, Obsidian has to develop it, if SF means San Francisco. I'd like to see Tennessee or Florida in a future game.
That would be sick to! Why would obsidian have to though?
Bethesda doesn't seem to want to make anything on the West Coast US. Besides, the developers of the first 2 games founded Obsidian and went on to make New Vegas.
IIRC SF was a possible location to visit in one of the early Fallout games.
I hope that didn't surprise you too much.
No i just thought there was an actual reason like a legal reason or something based on how you said it lol
Nothing legal as far as I'm aware is stopping Todd from ordering something set in Washington State for example, but it seems Bethesda is working through the entire US Eastern Seaboard. Maryland in 3, Massachusetts in 4, Vest Virginia in 76.
Far Harbor is in Maine, I can't remember where Point Lookout is set.
The swamps in and archipelago off Florida would be fun to work with IMO, including possibly having the Space Center in FL, and maybe a smaller Nuka World location.
Sorry for the extended reply. I got excited thinking about the shenanigans we players could get up to.
Dude i agree though florida would be sick 😂 or like the atlanta region
What fun could be had in a post-apocalyptic Atlanta?
I mentioned Tennessee because they could do something with a larger version of the Kings gang from NV.
@granite cipher imagine a quest involving locations significant to Elvis around Memphis.
Eg. Recovering relics for the Elvis museum.
Hello, I am a huge fan of the fallout universe, from the very first parts that I played since childhood, I just lived in fallout 2) and there is a whole army of fans like me in my region (Russia) and we all love fallout new vegas very much, many of us have switched from the PC platform to the console, in particular Xbox, and we are all looking forward to the first year that fallout new vegas will appear on this console in Russian, as it once came out on PC. Please tell us if we should wait for this to happen, many of us are even ready to buy a separate edition with localization in our language. I really ask you to give an answer should We hope??? Sincerely, your devoted fan.
alert
some details about amazons fallout tv show may have leaked (not sure if theyre legit though)
it would be a shame if you told us about it

i wouldnt even bother linking to it anymore
apparently its from a site that constantly creates clickbait articles so yeah, wont even bother sharing it since its probably fake
It would be awesome to magically avoid all information about the show until I sit down with food for episode 1.

and 76 seasons please
It'll go: S1, S2, Tactics Special, BoS Special, S3, New Vegas spinoff that's better than S3, S4, then S76.
But, it'll take about 10 years to see each new season.
only thing that i liked about fallout BoS was that it had a vault that looked like an actual livable vault than every vault we see in others
But they have cool armor
Question. Is it worth getting Fallout 1-2 and Fallout brotherhood of steel?
My personal answer is "Yes." But everyone's tastes are different. The earlier games are isometric games with far more traditional roleplaying game mechanics than the games from Fallout 3 onwards. These days, some gamers don't like that. They may prefer action-RPGs that rely more heavily on player skill. I think it is worth watching some Let's Play videos and reading the Fallout Wiki to get a feel for whether these earlier games might appeal to you. 🙂
Hey i just downloaded Fallout 1 and 2 on PC gamepass but when i try to launch 1 (did not try 2 yet) the launcher closes, and nothing happens. Any idea how to fix that?
Try: Run As Administrator, and Troubleshoot Compatibility. Set it to run in a logical version of Windows that was available at the time. Unless you're on XBOX, then you're SOL.
Fallout 4 came out almost 7 years ago... Wtheck I still remember watching the trailer for it and watching streamers play it the first day it came out.... How was it that long ago? I was frickin 12 when it came out... Now I'm 19 absolutely insane
I can't believe that it released in 2015 bs. Doesn't seem realistic at all
I was 20+ when fo4 came out and now I'm 12
brand new 160 lbs 4 oz baby synth. Welcome to the world little one.
I was playing fallout new Vegas today and I had to clear out the blue super mutants and one was using a stealth boy and appeared which made me shake
Bethesda make Fallout Shelter sequel please
why does my F3 look "chunky"
it doesnt look smooth
Hmmm
Like in Asia… not from Bethesda
So I'm thinking to purchase fallout game but idk which one should I start?
Is it really necessary to start from 1-4 or just get started with fallout 4?
@candid pilot All games take place in the same universe but they are not directly related. You could play any of them and be fine story wise
@candid pilot As far to where to start, that really depends on the platform you're planning on playing on and what kind of game you want. If you want old school, isometric turn-based, Fallout 1-2 are great. Fallout 3 and on are more FPS action oriented. All great in their own right
And what about fallout 4 and 76? @spark fractal
@candid pilot Fallout 4 is amazing. I really like it. Thats great if you want a classic single player experience. Fallout 76 is a lot like 4, however it is more MMO style. So you will be connected to a server with a lot of other players for PVE and PVP. So, depends on what you want
I think I'll choose between fallout 3,4, and Vegas
Thanks for the info @spark fractal
😁
All good! Enjoy! @candid pilot
wasteland
fallout 3 imo is best starting point, though it might be a little dated for some people
cheaper on games pass, if you have it, all fallouts are on ther minus the PS2 game, so pc has 1,2, tactics,3,NV,4 and 676, xbox has 3,NV,4,76
the timeline of fallout
f76->f1->f2->f3>fnv->f4(in case you want to experience the whole franchise in order) about the spin offs I think they are non-canon but still, they are great games. Except the Fallout: brotherhood of steel which is a complete garbage
Why are there no FO1, 2 and NV channels? Aren’t they fallout games made by one of Bethesda’s Studios?
Never start with 4, 4 is insanely superior in gameplay that you can’t go back to 3 or NV and have a good time
Like FO4’s gameplay is easily the best in the franchise and no one can argue with that
this discord is for todd's branch of bethesda games studios, tim cain's branch is somewhere else
FO1 was done by Interplay, FO2 was done by Black Isle which was a studio (in name only) of Interplay, NV was done by Obsidian. None of them was a studio of Bethesda but Bethesda did publish NV. Obsidian was contracted by Bethesda to make NV basically a 2nd party studio or contractor.
Make or atleast announce Fallout 5. We wanna play it and you wanna make money. Tis a win win
NO, fallout 5 or the next fallout game needs time to be a good game
fun fact i enjoyed tactics
my other tactics enjoyers told me that tactics was hated is because it had Fallout Tactics: BoS
I have a technical question that I kinda hope one of the devs could answer. Why do cells, especially the exterior maps of 3 (to a lesser extent), New Vegas and Tranquility Lane have so much unused flat land beyond their borders, so large that you get bored of running before you get anywhere close to the edge? I'd understand if it raised to hide the draw distance behind mountains or turned to water but it's usually a flat plane going on for ages.
those areas rely on heightmaps which are basically 2D images that translate into terrain geometry
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/images/31353/ here's the heightmap of fallout nv
I believe the actual playable area is about 1/4 of the map
But then that begs the question, why are the heightmap images so large? Isn't that inefficient on processing power or memory?
not really, heightmaps are pretty efficient, the theoretical mathematical limit of where you can go is actually quite big because of how the coordinate system is set up
in most games the coordinates are stored in floating points and the larger the number is the less precise it is, thankfully there's no way for you to legitimately reach such distant lands for it to become a problem
here's a video that demonstrates what could happen if you do go very far: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eK7eNgiQfhk
That doesn't explain the bubble in the middle of the New Vegas map that throttled my console though. That's my biggest question.
Who else is obsessed with collecting? 😆
https://vm.tiktok.com/TTPdSdX6kT/
^ Disposable income 100
For what it's worth, the middle of the map is where Obsidian started building the game and weren't all that experienced with the engine at that point.
I'm guessing that means they borked up the middle of the map super bad and couldn't fix it due to time constraints so they just walled it off...
I think the explanation was that they tried to restrict movement to prevent super-bad LOD from being viewed.
I didn't see any bad LOD but a lot of lag instead.
That's why they reconsidered later
you're officially the biggest fallout fan I know
Nah, I've been collecting, trading, working the collection up for about 13 years. Not all purchased at once, and snagging a lot on sale haha
Haha, there are better collections out there, and in terrible with lore 🤣
I wish I had more money than self control
If you're a collector, you're not a Fallout fan.
If you love the games, you're not a Fallout fan.
To be a Fallout fan you must: Appear in a Fallout game and be a desk, wall, ceiling, office or standing fan. The fan the back of new vegas enclave armour also counts.
So when is Fallout 5 coming out
Assuming Fallout 5 comes after TES VI, my guess is between 2028 and 2030. If some other game comes after TES VI, it will be later than that.
I heard they already in the process of make Fallout 5 because of failed support of Fallout 76 from the fans
It also looks like it might take place in Denver Colorado
A bit of a suggestion for the devs of Bethesda. Skyrim had horses, so when is Fallout gonna get vehicles? Y'know, give it a Mad Max feel.
It's unlikely to get them unless the map is specifically designed for them, like in Mad Max.
The maps are really tiny when you add vehicles.
Fallout 5 will be so realistic, we can walk outside and experience it first hand. Can't wait.
vehicles worked really well for that new vegas mod
fallout, but horses the game
i kinda wonder if Bethesda even knows about that game in the making then again they did change their name to not have fallout in it
Who cares about vehicles…we could ride mirelurks, deathclaws or mega sloths!? 🤔
Hey!
The more options, the better. Besides, only a few crazy people like myself would choose a bighorner over a tank (no need to refuel it and easily replaceable).
Imagine riding a rad roach... Ooooo
Just read a title to an article that said that fallout new Vegas 2 was in talks with Microsoft... So it doesn't mean that it will release but according to an article it claims that they were discussing it.
It can probably just be like a map from Mojave Outpost to Denver now
since exploring Denver could be nice considering how far from Hoover Dam
i hope it will not be in same area (though name imply it tbh), i dont mind another game in west coast, just dont want a repeat of same map/story but with swaped names and maybe one faction switched by something new to make it ''new''. (also new vegas got the world map i found the most boring so not in a hurry to return there ^^')
They really could've made it look better but no, the map had to look like the sand was made of mashed potato. There were a lot of issues that couldn't really be solved though, like bathing everything in an orange and yellow filter to add to that western feel and make the western guns not terrible.
My question is if they make a fallout new Vegas 2 then who will be making the game... Will obsidian entertainment make it? They can't use the fallout name if they aren't working with Bethesda... But Microsoft does own Bethesda now I believe so maybe they will come back to make new Vegas 2?
New Vegas 2 sounds kinda lazy, hopefully it will have another name
probably obsidian and inxile, maybe bethesda but they have large projects underway
Microsoft bought Bethesda and it's holdings. In most cases, this means Microsoft now owns their IPs as well, which means they can give the Fallout Brand to whoever they want.
I hope to every god dreamed up by drunk or stoned wisemen in the dark of night it's not Obsidian though.
The most I can see is a remaster/bundle them with some of the fixes/getting them to work on more recent systems stabler.
maybe they make new vegas 2, but bigger (as in, add stuff that got cut and the like?) to get complete game instead of the rushed product it is?
slapping in modern graphic and gameplay to refresh the gameplay and tada?
I'd rather Obsidian never again get a hand in the Fallout franchise
Or, really, any franchise, if i'm being entirely honest.
Hearing their name bandied about for a sequel to the worst Fallout game ever made was the second worst thing i've heard this week.
The Pitt is bigger than people might think, but smaller than others would think. Eventually we'll get more and more expeditions should this one go over well with the community, though I doubt we'd make it all the way to the West.
Why bethesda didnt port any fallout game to any thing that isnt a pc?
If they make a new Vegas 2 then it has to be bigger... They were working with the technology that was around at the time... The technology now is more capable.
@muted dune fallout 3 on a phone?
They were also working with terrible writers and washed up developers. So... You know... Tech can only so do much
I think they never made a port, not even for the classic ones
Who else thinks it'd be nice to read the comics and magazines in 4 and 76 IRL.
Hey do you guys have any ideas on how texas would look like in the fallout universe???
Although not canon, i think Tactics cover Midwest, or BoS
Ok thanks for you oppinion
Probably similar to what is seen in New Vegas as that would be in the same region.
Texas is Southwest not Midwest.
Okay, but i ment that i am not sure, as i red about Fallout: BoS lore for some reason, and i think its set in like Northern Texas, whilst Tactics are set in Midwest, so when i said that Tactics or BoS cover Midwest, then i wasn't sure which one was set in which, only knew they were in the middle od USA
Yeah Fallout: BoS is set in Carbon, Texas close to Dallas and Fort Worth.
Small town of only 272 people.
This is called "artificially stretching your gameplay". Ubisoft frequently uses this trick in their latest games
Not that it's bad
I wonder if it's possible to complete New Vegas without visiting the Strip.
No
Every main quest requires you to go to the strip
Yes but still, 6 hours to reach the main city
Imagine if you are a new player and saw all these obstacles infront of you
That’ll be discouraging to play the game
The main storyline becomes very short if you just sprint to the strip
True
I remember when I first played the game, that 2000 caps requirement to enter the strip felt very lazy. I didn't know about the monorail at the time
That is one of the things i like in FO4, if you sprint to diamond city, you still have a whole lot of storyline ahead of you, hell finding your son is 50% of the story not 100%
Sadly the writing isn’t as good as NV
I straight up ignored the strip after that until i knew that i can get viktor to open the doors
Or something, honestly last time i played it was a year ago
Replaying it to join a newer faction
IRL it would take 15hrs to walk that. As the distance between Goodsprings and Vegas is 39 miles.
But since it's set in desert it makes sense things are more spread out as people only settled near were water was.
Like, having fun
Thanks for your oppinion
i hate the fact that the dialogue in old world blue takes so long
It's the only time in New Vegas where the writings any good though. I mean, would you rather listen of Ulysses prattle on more?
Like getting forced to go a long route because the strongest creature in the wasteland and their family are set up in your way
Both are too long for what they are worth, there’s a good reason almost everyone agrees that honest hearts is the best DLC
The art of tell less show more
huh, i found honest hearth ok if light/short. one i liked was lonesome road and dead money, both had ambience i love in a post-apocalyptic game, was a nice change from the post post-apocalyptic new vegas had itself
What? Honest Hearts, the best DLC? I mean, i knew i was in the minority in hating New Vegas in general, but i didn't know i was THAT far in the minority. Honest Hearts is the second worst DLC in the entire franchise, right behind Lonely Road.
At least Old World Blues is fun, casting off the pretentious drivel for some good 'ol campy nonsense.
Honest Hearts was just listening to Graham or whatever his name was ramble on while loading his endless stack of pistols. Which, in it's own right, was beyond stupid, because you don't just keep piles of loaded weapons around.
usually the 2 dlc that people praise the most are old world blue and dead money, one for the fun wacky side it contain and the other for the good storyline
Dead Money starts off great, until you actually get into the casino and learn that they have LITERAL MATER COMPILERS
Afaik there was a poll in the subreddit
And people voted honest hearts first then Lonesome road, then OWB and finally Dead money
Vehks brazen balls, Lonesome Road?
Honest Hearts is honestly, for me, the best DLC, contains the same amount of dialogue as the other DLCs, but it is not shoved into your face
You are allowed to explore it and find it
The entire story of the dad was so good because it was hidden
You not only read, but saw the result of what happened
The core flaw with Honest Hearts is that it's just a lazy rehash of the Great Khans plot, and only manages to undermine everything in that other questline
It's another applicant tribe fighting on behalf of the Legion, when we've already learned that the Legion proceeds to enslave everyone anyway. Which makes the urgency and the stakes totally counterproductive
Graham's whole "We have to kill the White Legs or they'll join the Legion" is absolutely bogus because we already know they can't join, and Graham should KNOW that
The story isn’t about the sense of urgency, the story is about whether you are willing to corrupt honest people to let them defend themselves, or leave your home and avoid all conflicts
The problem here isn’t with the legion, it’s with the fact that the white foot are setup on eradicating the other tribes
And it fundimentally undermines it's own worldbuilding in the process
You have to decide what to do with them, whether you kill them and save the other tribes, let the other tribes leave, or do whatever third option I didn’t do
Like most things Obsidian seems to do, the approach is "Eff the narrative consistency in the world, THIS is the story we're going to tell"
The caesar’s part was hysteria and fear from Graham’s side
True
Tho what i loved most about the DLc is how they handled the story
Not the story itself, probably the only DLC story i liked in NV was Dead money
Cause big bo—- i mean Elder Elijah was there
Personally i think the best DLC in all of fallout is Far Harbor
The Story is well fleshed out, and spread all over the map, you get to not only enjoy the story but interact with it
And the many endings that are possible are also good
Plus the Mariner is Wifu AF and i wish i could save her
I ahve a soft spot for Far Harbour, since Bar Harbour Maine is basically rural Nova Scotia... But the most fun i've had playing a Fallout game was in Old World Blues
The rest of New Vegas can rot in a shallow grave, but Old World Blues has me legitimately laughing
Yeah i liked OWB, after i finished the 20 minutes unskippable dialogue at the start, after that dialogue that is jarring at best, the story starts getting much better
I liked the little interactions between the nerds and möbius
Hand Phalus', man. Gets me every time
What system?
Through Steam?

It should default to your system language, unless they bought a version from another region, or used an illegal option.
If its name is Fallout New Vegas RU, for some reason if you're east or central european it shows up, despite the game is english anyway

Where can i find a combat shotgun in fo4?
Isn't it amazing?
And by amazing, i really mean "A barely functional proof of concept"
how often does FO3 (Not GOTY) go on sale on steam
Old world blues wasnt that good
Massive fetch quest with a couple of giggles along the way
Which is still leagues better than any of the other DLC
Sierra Madre
Blood Money started off good, but then took a nosedive as soon as you actually got into the casino
Once Father whats-his-face became an active force, and you learned his motivations, the whole thing just crashed and burned.
If they allowed you to escape without the place blowing up you would get way too many caps from the gold bars inside of the vault
Father elijah said it a thousand times "The hard part isn't getting there, it's letting go."
That wasn't the problem with it. The problem was A; the Hologram Tech. B; the literal matter compilers. C; the games continued obsession with the critical value of the worthless piss-hole that is the Mojave. C; the need to circle everything around the stupid NCR vs Legion plot.
well what good a tech is if it stuck inside a death zone that nobody can live in and the tech probably part of an integrated system part of the whole complex itself so probably can't be extracted and relocated (and the advanced knowledge about how it worked is long gone since the people who made it turned into idiotic brain in a jar bots who can barely remember anything right)
This might be an odd question, but is there references to Tennessee in any of the games?
No new vegas chat rip
This is a Discord for Bethesda Games Studios. Fallout: New Vegas was developed by Obsidian Entertainment.
I just recently beat new vegas
Now I gotta get all the achievements
I got the new kid achievement right as I killed Benny and beat the game
The tech issue is more how it impacts the pre-war world and how well integrated it is.
At least with Fallout 3, when Bethesda introduced the 'real' GECK, it was made clear that these things were incredibly rare. So rare, there was only one suspected on the entire eastern seaboard. It was a brand new, state of the art tech that came too little too late to change the world, and almost too late to even be put together in a few prototypes.
Instead... "Hey look Ma! They've got that neat Replicator thangs like on the Trek Wars!".
For all the complaints regarding Bethesda's changes to various things, like the Power Armour or the Brotherhood, nothing's been nearly as bad as TECHNOLOGY WHICH LITERALLY UNDERMINES THE ENTIRE SETTING.
the replictor was prototype, sierra madre basically was a live testing ground for new tech coming from Big Mountain, so nothing they created was avaialble beside in that town (then war happened so any hope it could get traction vanished as suddenly as human society)
It establishes that it's been a novelty tech at fairs for things like corn dogs for years, but no one took it seriously
Which is colossally stupid. It would be like no one using 3d Printers for anything but flower barrets.
Either everyone in pre-war Fallout has the IQ of a head of lettuce (collectively) or, like most things, New Vegas' worldbuilding is just fundamentally inferior to literally every other game in the franchise
I mean brand new prototypes not seeing wide spread use is normal
They aren't brand new though. They are curiosities of county faires most thought only to use on corn dogs and cotton candy which had been around for years
Before anyone thought to, you know... Program more than 1 or 2 settings and give them more juice.
Literal matter replication technology, especially in a resource crisis, would have been snapped up by every manufacturer the instant it was proven to work. It would literally have meant that the only thing they'd have to do is pay for a reactor, no more need for raw resources, assembly lines, or complex supply lines.
i kinda like the minecraft fallout texture pack with the skins and world did mojang get permission to do that or no it was awhile ago but i just want to know i never found out .-.
I doubt they had permission, but they also wouldn't be able to use any textures or models from the main game, so as long as they don't charge anything they're pretty safe for IP purposes. Not entirely, but pretty safe.
If money was charged, then yeah.
I think the old Minecraft had the Fallout Mashup for free, as i remember playing it almost everytime on my friend's Xbox, he had a Old and New (New looked like a Pocket Edition mash with Xbox)
Yeah it did I remember playing it when I didn't even know what fallout was
But they did charge money for the skins and the texture pack to be used out side of the Mashup world
Are FONV fans more or less than FO4 fans?
The community says more, but the sales say way way less
I think FO4 has more appeal to a wider audience due to its first-person shooter aspects, but I do believe the fans of FONV are more vocal and more niche so it seems like there's more. The storytelling and nostalgic aspects of FONV are very different from FO4.
some statistic does indeed speak more in favor of fallout 4 (that includes average players, sales, etc)
however, fallout nv is being acquired less than legally more often than fo4 so there's that
according to google trends new vegas and fallout 4 throughout the history were searched similarly on average and according to twitch fallout 4 had more views in the last month but fallout nv has a vastly bigger peak viewer count
The modding community is more active for Fallout 4 than Fallout: New Vegas. As of this writing 25,560 New Vegas mods have been uploaded to the Nexus. Fallout 4 lists 41,380 mods.
What ending do you think FONV2 will follow?
None of them because it doesn't exist
probably the independent one
because it has the potential to change the two main big factions
It will, Bethesda said they are working on it, and supposedly Obsidian is being recruited
The only person who said that is Jeff Grub, who has gotten lots of stuff wrong in the past
Bethesda has said no such thing, nor has Microsoft. At present, it's a rumour, and not a well supported one.
And hopefully, it stays that way.
Agree
I would never want a FONV 2, FO new orleans, nevada or californa, or even texas would be much better
Fallout; Detroit. It's just Detroit
Detroit rn is literally fallout lol
I want fallout new vegas 2 because i want obsidian to have more then 18 months
Honestly i kind of want a remake more
No remakes, no sequels, no nonsense. New stories, don't rehash the same things for the sake of nostalgia.
The only value in Remakes is to revive interest in dead franchises. Fallout is far from dead, so there's no need to resort to the lowest form of game
There's so many other places to see, why would we go BACK to what we've seen before?
Fallout Denver or Tennessee would be my preferred locations.
There's the whole Northwest, and Great Lakes untouched
I don't think the technology could render such an area sufficiently to do it justice.
I've seen videos of the area, and it looks quite nice.
Neither are out of the norm for what Bethesda already does. Cities and wilderness
I mean, beck. Plop the Boston Downtown down in Skyrim, and you've got a reasonable facsimile of the Northwest.
I'm more referring to the way the lighting plays on the water. I don't think we'd want to miss out on the best possible version of that.
Eeeeh, ray tracing's come a long way already
Even so, the light effects aren't exactly on par with a particular different series that does it really well.
Which example? I've seen some decent examples of water of late
I won't say the name, but the movie would only ever be directed by Michael Bay.
Doesn't exactly help... But alright.
Since we're looking at, minimum, 4 years to a new Fallout, i think it reasonable to assume Bethesda will at least catch up to 2020 n that regard
It's a different company, so we can't really say the names.
Oh, i don't think they're THAT strict.
At the very least, i think by the time we get a new Fallout, we can expect water qualities of, say, Sea of Thieves.
Just in case. Cause I don't want to get in trouble. 3 mods in this server are fun to chat to. (Look at the first words in each sentence.)
I appreciate the subtlety 😂 As long as you're respectful when you compare games, it's alright to mention them by name.
Just being extra careful, my apex friend.
Aaah, well. Never played a Just Cause game, so i can't really comment.
@coral island Can I post a gif to demonstrate?
But, again, since we are looking at at LEAST 4 years, i am willing to bet that Bethesda can at least catch up to a... 2018 game?
If gif permissions are on this channel, sure.
Oh, that's it? Definitely then. I mean, that's not far off Morrowind's water effects.
I'm yet to see that effect with the water in the current engine, but I have hope the new one will get there.
I mean, Skyrim's got some solid water effects, and they already built Flow Effects for it for the Game Jam
Well, we shall see, @clear mason. I hope your day is as pleasant as our conversation.
So far, twas my highlight. Happy sailing, though.
I’d rather live in FO commonwealth than RL Detroit xD

Here's an aside. I hate, and i mean HATE, Fallout's most famous quote
Which one???
War never changes
Oh
It's clearly written by someone trying to sound deep and profound, while not having any bloody clue what they're talking about
Do you have any idea how much War has changed over the last century? Let alone the last 500 years.
Facebook moms posts?
And not just technologically, in terms of core behaviors, philosophy, and objectives
Uuuunfortunately, yeah.
Though it's not just their fault. I've been seeing it a lot in gaming over the last decade as well. Look at Horizon, or Nier.
Neither actually present novel or particularly well executed ideas, but their hailed as revolutionary...
Though, i suppose it's not just gaming... The Matrix is just a combination of a Jesus Allegory with Descartes 'Evil Demon' thought experiment. It's just a flashy rehash of philosophical concepts that have been around for 500 years.
not really, it's a very good intro quote and it's a philosophical one, it cannot be proven wrong
the point of it is that the war, as a force of nature, remains the same while warfare might change
you won't be the first person to miss the point of intros, fallout 1 and 2 intro established that the world was engulfed in flames and yet we have places like vegas and appalachia almost untouched
fallout 1 intro said that petroleum and uranium were both depleting and yet people believe that the nuclear energy was the answer to the resource crisis
I wouldn't really call first fallout intros deep, fallout 1 intro only had one paragraph mentioning past wars and the rest of it was dedicated to explaining the current events
fallout 2 intro is entirely on point, no philosophy whatsoever
War is neither a force of nature, nor does it remain the same. It is a social construct and has undergone numerous core, fundamental changes throughout human history.
how many changes did war undergo in the ant society?
the changes in war you are likely referring to are the changes in technology, independent of war
war is a part of nature, it remains the same
If we extend War to non-humans (a dubious assertion in an of it's self) then you're only reinforcing the core problem with the quote.
Ants and all other animals engage in territorial disputes in an effort to secure resources. The introduction of Ideological Conflicts fundamentally changes the goals, means and scope of war at a basic level
not really, war is not just a human concept and there's nothing dubious about it, colonies of ants and bees and termites have been doing the same a long time before we came up with it
furthermore, a lot of "human" concepts existed before humans, I mean, some animals do burial ceremonies
Outside of our closest relatives, while mourning seems common in higher order mammals, 'burials' only happen in cases of animals exposed to humans, and are most likely learned behaviors due to contamination.
But you're ignoring the core point. An ideological conflict is fundamentally different than a materialistic one. That was the first major change in War in Humans
when did that change occur?
We don't rightly know, since Humans have been expressing ideologies since before we were writing. We have no way to pinpoint when the first humans fought over more than just resources
what makes you think that ideological wars aren't wars for resources? Power is a resource
civil wars are wars for power
No, Power is an idea. At best you could argue People are the resource being fought over
And even that is a modernist stretch that fabricates motivations for the sake of supporting a premise
power is a very real, tangible thing
you can store, exchange or sell it
it's affected by gravity
The power in a battery, maybe. Social and political power is something very different.
social and political power is exactly the same
furthermore, when you claim that a war is fought for an idea usually that means you don't know what else people fighting it have to gain
I don't need to spell this out loud but crusades or the second world war weren't fought for ideas
Eeeeh, nope. That's not how that works. The Crusades may have started as a means of control of the trade routes through the Middle East, but do you really think 'Trade Taxes' are how you get people to fightt thousands of kilometers from home?
the biggest irony about the second world war is that it was the first war for oil, but that's just a fun trivia
It's far more complicated than just that.
those are just mechanisms of making people do what the government wants
That's a factor, sure, but stripping it away to that level is just reductionist.
another one is dehumanization
And right there, you're dealing with the Changes that fundamentally alter War.
Amongst Animals, resource control and territory are enough. There are no concepts of duty or faith or revenge.
Humans usually need MORE than just "We need more rocks" to drive conflicts.
animals are too simple and don't require those
animals don't have relatives in other colonies and don't suffer PTSD
they don't go on protests either
sure, humans require more foreplay than animals, but war is still war
Is it? You keep bringing up how it ISN'T and then claiming it's the same
"War never changes" is really a silly quote
Humans suffer PTSD. Animals don't. If both engage in war, then right there, you have a difference. A change
War changes, because Humans have changed from the 'Animal' standard
remember when the quote was neither deep nor profound.
humans didn't change anything, those differences were introduced naturally, they are in fact negative for people
humanity would've been a much happier place if the wars we fought lacked the ideological aspect
300 years ago, War was fought between professional armies with limited influence from Civilian populations. War was something that impacted Civilians when it spilled over onto them.
WW1 changed that, with mass enlistment and easier weapons of warfare making Civilians a war materiel in and of themselves, directly involving them in the engagement of war rather than being tangential to it.
War shifted from being about Armies, to being about Populations.
This change fundamentally impacted social development, military and political thought, the methods of warfare, AND the ways by which war was viewed and orchistrated.
This wasn't a technological, superficial change. It was a wholesale, systemic change in War and what it encompassed. And it's only the most recent of those changes.
more than 300 years ago we had levies which were basically enlisted peasants https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conscription#Medieval_levies
how did it impact social development?
Yup. And they were used as cannon fodder for professional forces. They weren't seriously considered military assets
The entirety of modern military service reverence, propaganda, nationalistic identity and military geo-politics
they actually were seriously considered military assets, an army marches on its belly, peasants won wars just the same as professional soldiers
an army marches on its belly
people require logistics and supplies, peasants who die in war do not pay taxes or produce anything
And farms burned in war do much the same. Except no one considered a farm a military asset, any more than the peasants who worked it. They were an economic asset
Which, in times of war, could be tapped to help pay for it.
all of those things existed before the modern or pre-modern age
unless peasants are enlisted to fight in a war they aren't a military asset, correct
You seem to believe that just because something existed in some form, it can't change. Which is an absurdly modernist perspective that i honestly through we had gotten rid of 40 years ago
No more than a cart of wheat you appropriate to feed the army
not really, you just aren't providing any good points and I'm trying to make you say concrete things
you say A B and C means that there was a change without explaining much so I say A B and C existed before
I mean, your logic is kinda funny when you think about all the battles won by peasants
Eeeeh, that's Anthropomorphism. PTSD is a particular sort of psychological trauma, whereas that behavior is more a response regarding trying to avoid a specific trauma from learned experience. It's more like not wanting to touch the stove again after burning yourself. Except, way worse.
basically you can have an army win battles without military assets because apparently enlisted levies aren't military assets
that's just ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Yup. Because a Military Asset isn't just a guy with a stick.
because war is a phenomenon that doesn't change
wars keep happening because wars are inevitable
I guess you can say the most basic reasons for wars dont change
Pick 5 different wars, and you'll find 5 different justifications.
if bataille is to be trusted, native americans had a good outlook on war
war is about killing a bunch of people for the sun god in order to keep the space objects on their orbits and moving
But warfare has certainly changed many times
Don't they? Tell me, how is the justification of a war fought in a suburb of Port Moresby to stop a man beating his wife, and the conquest of Carthage, the same?
?
If we can keep on topic here please folks
we are on topic, we discuss why war never changes line in fallout intro makes perfect sense
and everyone who thinks otherwise is obviously wrong
The Trobrianders consider all conflicts which have an intended outcome to be Wars. And really, this is the only way you can really define War and include conflicts between Animals as well as Human conflicts.
The last half century of Anthropological theory disagrees with that.
war is a very broad term, there are wars on piracy, wars on terrorism, the emu war
war on cancer, probably
I love it when my nonsense points I just came up with have something legitimate behind them
And again, kinda prove my point. The War on Cancer is something entirely, fundamentally different than WWI. So you either need to discount it entirely, or accept that War has both changed, and diversified over human history
It's evolved from simple resource conflicts, to ideological schisms, to things that aren't even armed struggles anymore
^
I didn't seriously bring it up, my only point is that war is less of a strict term and more of a generalized thing that aims to describe several phenomena at the same time
Welcome to definitions
It would be appreciated if the conversation was brought back to Fallout in general, as this is getting far off topic. Additionally as per #rules we do not allow the discussion of real world politics.
Fine. Even in the context of Fallout, War has changed.
The motivations, objectives, methods, and even impact of War has changed in the setting just from the point of the Great War
the last war in fallout was the war for resources
If you think The Great War was the last war in Fallout, then you've missed the whole franchise
The Master and the Enclave didn't start their wars for resources.
The Legion and NCR, sure, theirs is a more mundane war.
The Master's army burning settlements to the ground and slaughtering every non-super mutant they found wasn't a war?
it was just raiding, and they didn't burn much, they mostly captured people in the desert
The Master's wart was on what he viewed as genetic inferiority. A war that started when he sought to 'improve' on Humanity
maybe, but I wouldn't call it a military conflict
imagine you're making a wikipedia article for the master's "war", what do you put into enemy strengths, casualties?
Well, nothing, since the games are terrible at relaying and sense of scale
However, considering the Master's goal is the total eradication of Humans, i'd definitely put all those civilian casualties on there.
Makes sense
Because Armies, Land, Resources, Political Authority. Those aren't his goal. Those aren't what his war is about. His war is about his view of genetic ascendancy.
Only difference between the master and the enclave are the methods really
Conventional VS chemical warfare
In many ways, they are the 2 sides of that war, with the general population caught in the middle
The Enclave wants Human Purity. The Master sought his 'New species'. And everyone else was caught in the middle.
And in that regard, their methods were somewhat conventional. Guns, bombs, chemical and biological weapons. But their goals and motivations were very different from the wars that had come before.
But if it's the conventional methods which make it so war never changes, then nothing before 'Modern' warfare can be considered warfare.
I wouldnt call enclaves chemical attack conventional
Only because we in the real world sorta outlawed a lot of that stuff
Before it became too popular. The Enclave doesn't seem too big on teh Geneva Convention though
Any validity to the rumors of fallout remakes? Need some new vegas in my life!
no official remakes in sight, f4nv is your best hope
Why nv and not the classics?
Where did you bought it?
New vegas is my favorite game ever, but Id love to play all of them through again
I think fallout 4 is a survival game rather than an rpg or a looter shooter
Depends how you define RPG
Role playing game, which means a rpg is a gane where you enter the role of the character
Jrpg is a more literal version of them
That seems a bit vague. When we play Tomb Raider don't we enter the role of Lara Croft? As an American male I'm certainly not playing "as myself" when I play Tomb Raider.
I think that's a formative exposure thing more than anything. My first RPG was Quest for Glory 1, and it was real time.

I tried that one, it's unfinished
Maybe i'll pick it up again when it's out of early access
It gave me irratible bowel syndrome.
Let's keep this to Fallout related chat please. Feel free to continue this conversation in the #off-topic chat!
Hello
Can keep my vault happy can anyone give me advice
Make sure Dwellers are assigned to the room which uses their highest stat, and don't leave dead bodies lying around
And don't rush rooms again after a fail, as fails hurt mood.
Does anyone know if Bethesda is going to..release any armors like the classic ones
Cause I've struck an idea that some Bethesda admins or workers could use. If they would like to hear.
I'd be happy to share it within Dms.
one outfit/armor i always want back is the roving trader outfit from fallout 3. it my favourite thing and feel like the ''official uniform'' for any scavenger^^'
I want to see more armor, weapons, blacksmith, and clothing manufacturing shops in towns.
what were the reason of fallout brotherhood of steel to exist?
they were soldiers and their families who were originally posted at hte Mariposa Research base. They discovered the FEV research being conducted there, and Colonel Maxson executed the entire science team before declaring them independent from the USA due to the latter's crimes.
The bombs fell a few hours later, and the survivors at Mariposa evacuated to a government shelter at Lost Hills, where they founded hte Brotherhood of Steel and, at least initially, recruited other surviving US military groups.
They did a remake of this one in the atomic shop. It called the "blueridge trader outfit"
i stopped playing fallout 76 a long time ago, so dont know much what happen in it (and the only server about it i am still in mostly talk about anything but fallout these days)
i checked, it more reskinned railroad armored coat than actual roving trader outfit
Just curious. Why isn’t there a New Vegas tab? I know it was made by Obsidian, but its still Fallout
You answered your own question. This server is for Bethesda developed games. They only published New Vegas.
Technically, Bethesda owns all of these but they publish them instead of claiming they made it
Basically they own Interplay/Black Isle games, but they don't have channel for these because they're not Bethesda made
does anyone know if there is a trading chat
Let's clarify. There are two companies with "Bethesda" in their titles. Bethesda Game Studios develops video games. Bethesda Softworks publishes video games. They are not the same company.
This is a Discord only for Bethesda Game Studios.
for what game?
this server bro 💀
Trading what?
I mostly stopped there. No game has ever managed to actually make any of your choices important, meaningful, or even really relevant. It's a tired, ugly mechanic they they try again and again, and which ultimately fails to achieve anything remotely close a well written direct story.
Beyond that... Nah. No one wants to buy a game where you end up a failure. We don't need to inject more depression into peoples lives, especially not through what is, for many, their primary method of escapism.
Bear in mind, of course, that the 'Choice' thing is very much a personal opinion. A lot of people seem to be easily distracted by window dressing and think their choices in video games actually amount to anything
In general though, when you try to subvert expectations, it's best to go off-track, but not the total opposite direction. Like, the 'Savior' is actually a terrible and you have to save everyone from his populism and cult of personality.
Better to not go full The Last Jedi on it
Having since gone through everything, i do think there are some good ideas for narrative elements in there, just... not all together, in the same soul crushing story.
The main thrust of the story being about basically fixing your mistakes and undoing the damage of your former faction?
I think there's definitely potential in there
Convincing former comrades to defect could even be a big part of the early plot
Indeed.
Starting off trying to recruit former comrades, leading into direct conflict with your former faction, could be a good plot driving element
I think that depends on the factions themselves
Building from the basic idea, i think having the PC be a defector from the Enclave in, say, Detroit, could be an interesting premise. The Enclave has an established look, you could draw on the Detroit gang aesthetic, there's also the Detroit mobster days to draw on, and of course the mandatory Robocop influences any Detroit game would need.
So you could flesh out at least 4 major factions, each with their own distinct look in the area.
You could even maintain the 'Vault' start that the Bethesda generation of games has emphasised by having the PC be an Enclave lifer, with your first foray into the Wasteland being leaving an Enclave vault
Yeah, they haven't been in the area as far as we know
BUT, there are several other military bases around Detroit, so it could offer the opportunity of other former military elements to be involved
The Brotherhood was born, ultimately, out of the regiment posted at the Mariposa Military Research Base, and while they managed to establish contact with a Ranger group in Appalachia... They are unlikely to have been able to contact all surviving military elements
Some would be picke dup by the Enclave, but others would likely have remained independent and formed their own factions, which may have survived.
Imagine a navy-themed military faction based out of the old Broadhead Armory
They're kinda hard to compare, because they're completely different types of games. Fallout 4, on the other hand...
That is a terrifying, yet thrilling idea, in my opinion.
do you guys consider Fallout 76 to be an Online game or a Multiplayer game?
and please explain why if possible
Both. It's an online game because you need an active internet connection to play and cannot play offline, and it's a multiplayer game because you can meet other players and play with friends in a team.
yes
Hi, Spader666 [PS4]! Discussions of Fallout 76 should be posted in #fallout-76-chat Thank you. 🙂
apologies, didn't realize I posted that in the wrong place >x<
What song do you guys think they'll use for the next Fallout 5 trailer?
I'm going with Bee Gees - Stayin' Alive
Fallout Disco 😎
I'm hoping something by Johnny Cash
I hope they go back to music from the 40's or 50's for the next game Songs from the 70's (like "Take Me Home, Country Roads") don't feel right to me. I even thought "The Wanderer," a 60's tune, was a little misplaced.
I need Elvis music
You don't realize how much Fallout is missing Elvis until you make a mod for it
Any chance of the classic Fallout getting remasters similar to what Beamdog does with Baldur's Gate?
That would be awesome but I don't think it's very likely to happen.
If there's any Fallout game Bethesda are going to remaster it'd probably be Fallout 3.
I don't even think that's necessary with the high resolution mods.
3d remakes of 1 and 2 is my dream project. Don't think BGS has time for it though, they'd need to outsource
Those would be entirely new games, though
Hello. So with the Bethesda net launcher going away; I wonder if Fallout 1 & 2(Tactics) will be available on Steam? Long story short I really hope its still can be bought on Bethesda's site and launch via Steam!!
You have a point
I feel like it might be a bit odd, since Elvis songs are much more well known than a lot of the golden oldies they've used
Not against it though
But...licensing 😦
They might be able to get a license to use some songs but have them sung by someone else
Well, yeah, I mean... Elvis never wrote a single song
Could be there are recordings of his songs as sung by the people who wrote them, or other artists and so on, that could be licensed
"His songs", or rather songs made famous by him
I need help with Fallout New Vegas Crashing
Elvis's voice is what matters, not necessarily the songs themselves
im having the same issue
You should install new Vegas anti crash mod and while you are it check viva new vegas mod guide
How come there is no New Vegas chat?
Because Bethesda didn't make it, they only published it
You know, ive been watching a lot of lore videos from some pervious fallout games, and ive started to realize most of them are about the topic of water. So what if Fallout 5 was set in michigan? there's a lot of opportunity regarding water there.
A few folks have mentioned Michigan as a possibility. Detroit already looks pretty post-apocalyptic even in our timeline, so Bethesda wouldn't have to re-imagine much there. My own personal favorite location would be Chicago, though. 🙂
I'm hoping New Orleans, also a lot of water
I was thinking the conflict could be that the lower part of Michigan is a complete warzone, and that trees and wildlife exist in the upper peninsula, so the factions are trying to take control of the mackinaw bridge
since most of the bombs fell on the lower part since its the most populated
The gatorclaw central.
Power Armor would be a little useless in New Orleans, since in a post apocalypse I assume alot of flooding has taken place, making most of the area a flooded swampy bog.
PA is a nice personal submarine
It would make sense if there wasn’t a lot of power armor just some
Aight I wanna hear all your takes on how to fix Fallout’s guns
And by this I mean pointing out the design flaws and how to correct them in either a mod or future release
When is dee new Fallout game predicted to release good sirs and women?
No official news on any new Fallout game yet
2030+
What year is it currently?
2022
2077 😎
fallout 76 Disappointmented me
I want to see a Fallout game where we can beat the CEO of Vault-Tec into the ground.
Closest we have to that is leaving Stanislaus Braun trapped in his simulation, alone, for eternity.,
it would look good
I wonder what a Bethesda made Star Wars game would look like.🤔
