Possibly a silly question.
But I saw that the USSEP patch came out for the XBox (thanks a million Unofficial Team for keeping the patch going) and when I downloaded it my load order changed …. significantly. CRF and Sounds of Skyrim plus 5 other mods shifted to the bottom of the list. All good, I know where to place USSEP, CRF and SOS but the other 5 mods are mid to low range in mid load order. I have now moved them back to where I would of generally put them prior starting the game but don’t know if I have them in the exact spot.
Questions
- why did the “other” mods change load order while updating the Unofficial Patch?
- is there a better way then “guessing” in which load order I had them or can I load a save and find my previous load order (xbox I don’t see this to be possible)
- could the save become ruined if I don’t move them back to the “exact” position?
Because any mod dependent on a mod that gets updated is placed at the bottom of your LO. USSEP would also be down there if it didn't auto-load up top. Hopefully you have your LO documented et can easily put the mods back where they were.

Yeah I live by the LO spreadsheet I got from the Discord I'm in. I use it to build my LO before downloading et testing. I save all my successful LOs with notes et mod links for easy reference. It's quite handy.

Hey guys, what's the best way to build leveled lists? I have many mods which adds new items and want to see them all over the place (sort of).
I don't know that it's the best way, but I use a bashed patch, then go back in and manually check all the leveled lists via xedit, and can make overrides from there.
I haven't upgraded to the newest xedit yet, but as recently as 4.0.2., using the argument -VeryQuickShowConflicts would work well for that.

on console the main menu (new game,load etc) has alot of lag and freezes alot also the mod store is effected,the only temp solution is to play in go offline

No. Just Avoid mods with racial edit conflicts. And make sure mods you use have generated Facegen properly.

Turns out, apparently, that it was some sort of conflict between WICO and Diversity. I discovered this after turning off all mods 9 through 42 in the picture above, loading my game, everything appearing fine, and then turning on 9 through 40, and the problem appears to be solved.
I just saw something both hilarious and sad. I loaded up Skyrim, and headed to the local tavern. As I'm walking through the market, Saadia comes walking up, and some guy runs up behind her, stabs her to death, and runs away before I can do anything. Apparently console commands don't work on some NPCs.

No. Most mods that add new NPCs are fine. As long as the MA generated Facegen.

Try the recycleactor command instead.
and make sure you actually have the corpse targeted and not some other object. sometimes you can accidentally target things like terrain and so on.

Is Skyrim crashing a lot more with mods for anyone else on console since the anniversary update? Playing on Series S and it's been crashing more than before the X/S update. Also the game lags when loading a creation club item in the menus.

you could try visiting the dead body cleanup cell where unique NPC corpses go.

I looked up the NPC refID, moved to it, and resurrected that way.
for the crashing on series s since ae is caused by 60 fps (they might add a 30 fps option) they should let modders choose the fps with ini,for the lag in the menu play in go offline as a temp solution you wont be able to download mods/cc though

Hey, does anyone know if there’s any way to manually trigger the Bitter Cup quest on Xbox? I have a city overhaul that changes the inn, so I can’t get the journal to start the quest.

The startquest command is found under the "Commands -> Other" submenu.
Alternatively if this "journal" you speak of is an item you can also use the AddItem command to obtain it if you know the formID of that.

Well, someone could make a portable lantern mod, so long as it used an existing asset.
Wondering if there’s a mod, or anyone willing to make one, for PS4 that has a cell or two with all of the CC items(notes and junk too, plus any variants, unenchanted would be neat but isn’t as crucial) and possibly a door or something to any locations that require transportation other than walking? Like Giant’s Tooth for Bittercup(the one I’m struggling with right now) and Blackbone Isle for Dead Man’s Dread. Adding a way to summon CC NPC’s might help too but that might be pushing it, or at least something for later. This would be really helpful though! Especially with quests like Bittercup where you have to choose between three path’s, or CC that can only be bought from caravans.

I actually crashed less on Series S with the fps boost and the 60fps mod. Now I'm crashing more. Hope they fix it. Even crashes if I have a few simple follower mods with different hair (the Redguard follower mod on Xbox that adds three followers to Whiterun).
i dont know why they seem to keep removing options or making it harder for us too mod they should let us change the game speed again with ini or add the option to the kit
The solution that existed previously was perfect. In the Xbox game setting menu was FPS boost. Select it and you got up to 60FPS. Deselect it’s and you got a solid 30FPS. No need for mods to make it happen.
Anyone else having trouble getting the thieves guild quest loud and clear to start on PS4 I quit playing a few years ago because it wouldn’t start and I’m still having the same issue even with the anniversary edition

Right before I meet Mercer. Brynyolf will open the door to the cistern but as soon as I go in everyone starts saying “ you’re not supposed to be here” then they attack. Before it happens it says taking care of business quest complete but it never says loud and clear started

i know one on xbox that does it (i dont want to go into details about the mod there are people who would upload them on purpose) but it was created when some mod users were annoying a mod author some modders include the assets without knowing what they do

If you know of a malicious mod on bethesda.net, you really aren't doing anyone a service by keeping the name to yourself. Should be hitting the report button, or sending the info to bethesda, so nobody else falls victim to it.
i told the modder who posted it and they do have a warning (i dont know why they didnt take it down) i dont think the report button works unless your in a group and a few report it also i dont think the modder knew about it so i dont want to get them banned

he does have a warning aswell so unless people dont read it they would know to avoid it (i think he left it up for testing and one day try and fix it but never did it)

If the mod is actually malicious, report it. Maybe also tag Carto to let him know. Keeping it a secret only lets more people get hosed by it.

it was awhile ago i reported it to the modder so they can fix it,the mod is abandoned now and they they cant fix it they have posted a warning,i can tell @night rover the name in a private chat (i dont know how too on this) if i use the report button the modder might get banned
If they have abandoned the mod doesn’t sound like they are even active on Bnet anymore. So banning doesn’t sound like a concern.
And we all know how people don’t read mod descriptions or comments. If that’s where they posted the warning people will still get screwed.
they might be retired from making mods but they might still use mods,they posted in the describtion at the top (although i dont know when they added that it wasnt there when i first downloaded the mod) and also in the comments so people should see it

Brings up a other point I wish BGS could address. Abandoned/outdated/dirty mods. I bet about half the mods could be removed if there was a good way to ensure only current, clean mods are available.
The issue of abandoned, outdated, and possibly broken stuff is not unique to Bnet. It's a pretty universal problem on all platforms.
The thing is, abandoned and/or outdated also doesn't mean the mod doesn't work.
It's really just the broken ones that would be nice to find some way to deal with, but that's an issue we've been dealing with in BGS modding for 20 years now.
True. RW2 being the biggest example of that. Original works. But damn. Lots of updates over the years. Unfortunately most newbies still use the OG version ported by Isoku long ago just because it shows up in “most popular.”

i will qoute some of the mod description to explain it (this mod changes the more expensive weapons so they level in price similar to the early game weapons,around midgame the weapons start pricing levels differently and you end up being rich very quick)

The UESP page shows the formid but it says blank variables based on load order and I can’t figure out how to tell which creations are loaded where.

There’s a few mods that let you simulate the console commands, like cheat room and debug menu.
Nothing will ever force you to do bounties. But EOSI is the most hardcore economy mod I know of on Xbox
Problem is I can’t quite get them to work for mods and CC, though base game and DLC has worked perfectly fine for me.

Debug Menu works with AE. For the commands he's using you just need to have the right formIDs. I'd like to add the CC items to the Item convenience menus, but I don't yet own AE so I cannot; well, cannot do it easily - I could add them manually via script using GetFormFromFile but I would need to know the filename and all of the relevant formIDs which is not easy to come by when one doesn't have the data files for it.

The commands in Debug Menu that take FormIDs currently use the GetForm function which is load order sensitive, meaning the FormID you input must have the correct mod index number at the start of the ID. For instance, in most load orders the Dragonborn DLC file Dragonborn.esm is loaded 5th so its Mod Index is "04" (numbering starts at 00 and increments from there, and they are hexadecimal values). So for a mod you've installed, to get the right formID you have to count to where in the load order the mod is and figure out the index from there. Note that ESL mods such as CC mods, at least on PC, use a different index system as SarthesArai mentioned and start from "FE000" instead of "00" and count up from there. E.g. "FE000", "FE001", "FE002", and so on. Well, at least on PC they do; since consoles don't make use of ESLs the same way the PC version of the game does I suppose it's possible the indexing may be different.
In order for the formIDs you input to be indifferent to the mod index I would have to have it use the GetFormFromFile function, although the catch there is that you then need to know the filename of the mod instead of the mod index as the game uses that to look up the relevant records instead.
I'll likely add a secondary option to the FormID input system in the near future so that users can input the mod filename and thus utilize the other function so that calculating the mod index isn't necessary.
@night rover Speaking of this, I'd like to see if you could clarify this for me: Do you know if the CC mods on console utilize the same "FE000" etc mod indexes that they do on PC, or do they use the "normal" indexing values?
That’d be nice. Instead of needing to load up on compatibility patches for a lot of these CC things it’d be nice to have something to just add some of the simple preliminaries.
Cheat Room was the standard for a long time, but it stopped being worked on years ago so it only has CC content up to the Forgotten Seasons update.

Well, hopefully sometime in the near future I'll have the extra money to spare on buying AE and can get those bits added. After I finish adding console commands for Objects I'm going to flesh out the convenience menus a bit more; the convenience menus in Debug Menu are meant to be the main method for acquiring things and other debugging needs, with the console commands being there just as a fallback so that the need to know/input FormIDs for things is as minimal as possible. Eventually that'll be the case.
what point would esls be if they dont use FE
I imagine it’s a thing mainly to help with the PC version of the game and the console’s built in 150 esp hard cap, and it’s relatively understandable the specific numbers aren’t really needed for 99.99% of console players.
cc esls and esms dont count towards that cap regardless

That will only work if you're playing the original Skyrim, 32 bit, "oldrim" version. There is no steam workshop for Special Edition. If you're playing Special Edition, you will find a Mods tab in the in-game menu, from which you can download mods from bethesda.net, or use the Creation Club tab to buy CC mod items, or find downloadable mods on nexus, afkmods, or another mod-hosting site.

I ran into a bug where I couldnt open the puzzle gate for Ashen heart quest in Ghosts of the tribunal so I just gave up on the quest, now ash zombies come after me time to time

Had anyone had a problem on next gen with the mod called “Alidon ultimate armoury” mod? It seems to work fine on ps4 but as soon as I go into the “void” being the entrance. It crashes my game every time on next gen.
mornin, and yeah pc. i use vortex's built in sorter function after manually resolving mod conflicts.
after some extensive testing last night, i suspect that my issue might be a bug involving triumvirate (i havent 100% isolated it, but i noticed the crash only happens during specific conditions so far). will be reducing my load order and testing more today to try to confirm
If you're experiencing the issue where the two corrupted textures involving the Dawnstar Museum and Kolbjorn Barrow that results in a CTD, there's a temporary mod fix you can install for both PC and Xbox until Bethesda gets around to fixing it next year when the holidays are over.

Been doing testing and it just seems to be the mod itself. It does not work on the ps5 legit at all I had no whiterun CC installed I only had that one specific mod installed, Iv tried with a few other mods and had that mod at the bottom of the load order as it said in the description. Well when I made that save I had the skyforge (aka the sky heaven/blade armour mod) and I had aduilons mod (which never had issues on the PS4) as soon as I went near river wood it crashed
skyrim basically builds your entire game world when you hit new game
so if you have issues test from the new game button

I did notice on the PS4 the sky heaven blades armour mod. (Where whiterun arena is located) it clips through the tundra home but that’s it.

You can’t and don’t want to move them below other master files you may have.
They need to load first to work properly
ESM files load before everything and have some other lil doodads
ESP files load after esms and are the normal plugin files
ESPFE (esps marked as esl) follow load order but dont take a normal mod slot
ESL files load in slot FExxx000 xxx being the esls id and these load at the end

I was using akTarget.PlaceActorAtMe(akTarget.GetActorBase(), 4, none)
but if target is an animal like wolf, bear or sabre cat, the spawn will become random animal, instead of pointing target

Hey @devout valve , so I'm reaching out to you in regards to your ps4 mod called "Rings (and Scrolls) of Quest-Fixing", so I'm stuck on the quest "The Horn of Jurgen Windcaller" but the part where I'm stuck at is renting out the attic room from Delphine in sleeping giant inn so she can give me the horn and progress the quest. So I'm just asking if you're able to make a ring or scroll that progresses me to the point where Delphine can give me the horn so I can continue with the main quest, because basically until then, I literally cannot progress the main quest at all. you're most likely casting it at an enemy that's been generated through a leveled list. In that case, GetActorBase() returns the actor that is still dependent on the leveled list, and it will be reevaluated at the new spawn. You can circumvent this by using GetLeveledActorBase() instead

Not really like what you are describing. But Special sedition Followers makes vanilla followers much better and more diverse.

Well, there isn't really a clean/easy way to have the player get 2 points per level tbh; there's no game setting for it, for instance. It can be done, just a bit janky and not in a terribly compatible way with regards to other perk mods. It might be better to just, say, have the "stronger" perks have more tiers to them or something. 
If you use Wrye Bash at all, for making patches or as a mod manager, there is a tweak you can put into the bashed patch where you can set how many training sessions per level. Set it to a higher number, then as you level alchemy, use training to get your main combative skills up to a survivable range, for how far you've leveled.

I'm trying to install The Alchemist's Cookbook, but the installer provided by the author is not working correctly. What I did was:

Extract the mod and create a new zip file using only the AlchemistsCookbook.esp., the AlchemistsCookbook.bsa and the Source folder containing the Scripts folder. I've ignored all optional plugins since the patcher will take care of everything else.

Copied mlqAlchemistsCookbookPatcher, a folder containing a partials folder and some other files to the zEdit modules folder.

Installed the zip file I've created using MO2.

Launched zEdit using MO2, loaded Skyrim.esm, Update.sm, the DLC and Creation Club (the reason why I need the patcher)

Clicked the Puzzle icon and in the screen above, I clicked on Build All but Nothing happes. Clicking add will allow me to build. However, the process was too fast and not much info is provided.

creation club adds gauntlets with claws. there's probably a free mod for this, but i'm not familiar with this. however, there's an unarmed perk tree created as an add-on for adamant

Adamant uses heavy armor, while Ordinator and Vokrii use light armor.
Unfortunately I can’t think of any mods that have a proper perk system that doesn’t use armor.

poor lockpicking. always getting kicked out of its home and having to shack up with pickpocketing.

Pickpocketing is just the black sheep of skills, being given perks that nobody else will take like "Having pockets" or "Pouring poison down the gap between someone's buttcrack and their pants to poison them". Poor Pickpocketing, at least it's useful for something. I just shred lockpicks to open master locks instead of putting perks into it.
I do tend to use those perks, but I also prefer to use mods to fix them up a bit. 
Pretty much once you get the perk that makes picks unbreakable everything else in the tree becomes obselite
I disagree, but at the same time using a mod to fix the tree up helps mitigate that sort of thing.

Is it safe to modify CC files? So may ITMs...
There is no issue with ITMs in CC files, ITMs are only an issue when they load after something attempting to change that record (mind you, this can also be done intentionally for patching purposes, so even then it isn't always an issue). Since you can't load anything before the CC files, they are completely harmless.

does the sewer entrence collide with the CC one? I don't recall the sewer entrence for undeath being in the same place
I'm not sure, I was just wondering given how there was a Solitude Sewers added with Undeath and worried that should I install it, it would clash with Saints and Seducers. The manhole that Saints and Seducers adds in is at the original spot of the first manhole you come across in Solitude normally. Where does Undeath place its manhole to enter the sewers?
If Undeath's sewers doesn't collide with the same area that Saints and Seducers uses, then good news for me and my Konahrik build ^^
Well it says undeath sewers have multiple entrences, so It might be ok, however you might not be able to gain acess to the CC sewer version, as CC content is loaded before regular mods
I'll have to test it out on a new save then and see if that's the case. Hopefully Undeath doesn't overlap the CC sewers or worse add in its sewer system right next to CC's sewer system lol. If that's the case, you think I can fix that through Creation Kit? To me it sounds like simply moving a door, but knowing Creation Kit it's a lot more than that ^^;

Based on what you have said, you are probably right. If both works simply add their own sewer entrance, then one of them can be moved a few feet away in a matter of minutes.

As far as i know Undeath released long before CC was even announced (unless I'm confusing it with a different mod) so there's no way it could use the same cell as Saints & Seducers

Okay, did a test with Undeath with Saints and Seducers and thankfully no, it does not overlap with each other, so everyone who uses Undeath and have the CC addon Saints and Seducers should be fine working with each other.

yes Revenant7755. i couldn't get it to show up in my library on my console. it was only in the library on my Bethsaida account. some how i lost all my content and that was the only mod that i could find for some reason. so i went to my pc mods and ported over stating that its not mine i don't take the credit for it. its a great mod and i love that fact that i can make a follower immoral or killable.
plus there are horses around for them to ride if you have one in the holds

This is the only thing I know of, but it's not for SE. You would probably need to port from oldrim for personal use. There are some step-by-steps on both nexus and AFK mods, about how to port. I do not know if the compiling changes with AE will have an effect on being able to port, though, so you will want to look for instructions dated recently.
Come to think of it, there is a feature in Honed Metal that I have never tried to use, but it allows you to add NPCs to the crafting factions. I have been using Honed Metal itself for quite a while and love it. Just never tested that option before. There are a couple of versions of it.
I use the SE ported version of the original, but there is now a newer SSE updated version. I don't know anything about that one, but I can recommend the original.

There are many many guides, though it's not as simple as turning to the "how do I make my follower able to craft" page. I'll link some of the ones that I started with, but it's going to require some trial and error and a lot of reading/video watching on your part. I don't know how to make an NPC actually craft, and I suspect it will require scripts, which will render it useless for PS players.

Unfortunately, I'm out of my depth, with regard to what is possible with the play station's restrictions. I know you can create a follower who is also a trainer or a merchant, but being able to say "hey, make me a sword" is another matter, and not something I'm familiar with doing.

Based on both Followers Can Craft and Honed Metal having scripts, I would have to assume it requires scripts to make it happen.

Hey, I’m looking for suggestions for mods for a very specific playthrough.
With all the fun necromancy stuff in the AE, I was thinking about trying out an “ethical Necromancer” sort of playthrough.
A good guy necro using “Vastarien” Necromancy in a sense, no binding people to eternity or manipulating fresh corses, no being evil n’ stuff.

Also, the summonable flesh colossus mod would be quite fitting as well.
Fleshy summons stuff probably wouldn’t work well.
Part of the lore is that the fresher the body, the more likely the soul is to be attached, and an attached soul would be miserable and demented from the necromantic control.
Part of the idea would be mostly using skeleton summons or consenting spiritual summons.
The only fleshy stuff would most likely just be mummified stuff like Draugr.
The flesh colossus is more of a daedra than a simple reanimated undead
Or it is a monstrosity sewn together from several corpses, sources aren't clear on that. In the latter case, it would be unsuitable for you

you can create mods for AE without the Creation Club content (as long as it doesn't involve it). You will not be able to check for compatibility issues, however.

Crypt of the Old Guard by Toggle AI is a Vampire-themed player home near Riften. It is a bit dark, but it's nicely themed.
Winterhold Beacon by DrNegative appears to be a mundane tower over that city, but has the option to swap in coffins for sleeping.

I'm on PC with AE, I'm trying to find a good home for my necromancer/dragon priest character but I'm not having a lot of luck ^^; there are some good houses sure but whenever I find a house they're either lacking in a certain department that would be good such as being close to a city or village to sell my goods or don't really have much in terms of displays especially with my artifacts and armor sets, or they're just riddled with bugs and technical issues.

It's actually quite correct. To upload to bethesda.net, you need a .esp and a .bsa. There is no other way to do it.

That's nice, I've probably uploaded at least as often. It simply will not do anything if you don't have a .esp and a .bsa file for it to upload.

Actually let me correct that - a .bsa file may not be required in all cases, but in those cases all you have is the .esp

But that esp then has to have at the very least, Skyrim.esm and Update.esm as master files. If you create a new esp in CK, pack the files, and upload it without setting the master files, it will drop to the bottom and not activate in game on Xbox
As I have already said, if you don't save it, there's no file to upload, and nothing will come of attempting that. I've answered plenty of questions about why someone's upload failed only to find they didn't save the file they were trying to upload - so there was no file.

yes there is the bsa such as mesh textures, which requires a blank plugin created from the initial ck save / naming. then when ck has loaded masters and esp if you dont then press save and see in the log save complete the upload to bethnet can cause mod to drop to bottom and not function on xbox
and in some cases irrc can equal no file size showing at all and user not even being able to download anything
You seem to be deliberately ignoring that I've told you several times there needs to be a file to upload. You can't upload thin air. The internet doesn't work that way.
Without a .esp you can't do that though. This is what you're missing.

I have personally tried exactly what you claim should work and it doesn't. NOTHING happens since you have no .esp file for it to upload.
I think there is some miscommunication going on here. What Skeletor was saying is that if someone makes in an esp in CK but doesn’t set Skyrim.esm and Update.esm as master files and re-save with those as master files then you can still upload the files to bnet but when they are downloaded, they won’t activate and will drop to the bottom of the load order

If you have the full Creation Club upgrade for AE, she also has vampire and wizard homes as part of that. Creation Club also has a necromancer home with some unique crafting options, but it doesn't have a lot of display room. If you'd like to know more about those, you can ask on #skyrim-creations.

I think a dwelling is like an actual house whereas a habitation is a settlement
They're simply keywords used by the system to associate with a location for use in other parts of the game.
Checking what references a particular keyword will give you an idea of what it gets used for.
Does anyone know how to forward a package change? I'm trying to add in a patch between Bruma and RS Children given how the original patch is broken and would just leave you with an infinite load on the main menu, but thankfully someone in the comment section of RS Children Overhaul by the name of Lolmaester posted a hotfix for 1.5.3 of Bruma. I'm also using Vortex if that helps.

I noticed that the port of Flintlock Pistols for Adventurers on Xbox has some odd issues with the weapons.
I’m pretty sure the specular maps are all messed up because the weapons have a constant sheen on them at all times.
I honestly love the weapon mod since it’s the only “gun” mod that adds them in a way to make sense and doesn’t just make them a crossbow, but does anyone know of any mods out there to possibly fix the specular issues it has?
Anyone who I redommended the SSE 1.6.342 Corrupt Texture Fix mod to: it can now safely be uninstalled if you've downloaded today's update. If you've installed the Beth.net version of the mod, the game will still complain about a missing mod on savegame loadup, but no actual issues should arise.

Hi. I’m on PS4. I created a follower mod for myself and put different followers in two different taverns. I’m not sure if it’s a load order issue or what, but if I take one follower from one of the taverns and dismiss them back at the same tavern then try to grab a follower from the second tavern, all followers are gone except two. It’s like they disappear.
Anyone on Xbox crashing when leaving Whiterun with more than one modded follower? Never happened much before the Anniversary update when I played on my Fatbox One. Now on Series S if I exit Whiterun through the main entrance followers take forever to load then the game freezes. Also followers take ages to load when going through a load door. Given up playing.
Fixed when reinstalling the game though I was surprised how the installed mod folders were kept so I didnt need to reinstall them again 😅
So do I just delete the game from Xbox or the anniversary add-on as well (haven't checked to see if the anniversary upgrade is separate yet)? I had to delete Borderlands 3 and reinstall after lots of crashing which seemed to improve it so I'll do it with Skyrim. Also would I need to start a new game? Thanks.

I'm at 295 and it seems if I go over like 300 or so my saves start corrupting, I can't exactly pin it to one single mod.
The plugin limit would have stopped you before you got to 295. What you're probably running into instead is the file handle limit, where due to the OS calls being used, the vanilla game can only maintain 512 open file handles. This includes ALL official content, plus any mods you have.
The number of .esp./esm/.esl and .bsa files is what's counted, so it isn't just plugins in this case.

Yeah, the only common ground I can find behind the sudden corrupting of the game is how many mods I'm using. So, either way, I'm using too many mods, essentially.

I am on ps4 and have been using mods on this playthrough. I'm having a problem with getting a follower to use the altar of sacrifice in the boethiah quest. I disabled mods before getting a mercenary from windhelm and going to the altar bit the follower wi not interact with it, just says they will but never moves,is there any way to fix this without having to go all way back before I got the quest as I picked up the book a while ago. Hey guys, I play on the Xbox and I like Divine Creatures Texture pack pretty good however, I came across Bellyaches choice animal textures and I read about it on the nexus. It adds so many color variations of the animals without adding new animals which I love. However, the Xbox version of the mod does not add all the variations and I was wondering if anyone knows if his full animal texture pack can be ported to the Xbox?
Just FYI Divine Creatures uses Bellyache's textures. Think the rabbit is the only one that's not.

None of us knew how to make mods at first. It all starts somewhere. When it's something simple, it's a natural entry point for people. So I like to encourage people to give it a try.

My Xbox One X is crashing enough to make things basically unplayable. All my mods ran great together on SE before. Update back with the release changed everything. Dec 13th update may have made things worse, but have read playing offline may help with what that changed.
There is no faster script processing. People have tested it and found no difference in that.
The game crashing is almost always related to memory usage issues, and the more mods you have installed, the more RAM, CPU etc your game will have to use and if there isn't sufficient enough on your system, the game will crash.
Mod conflicts doesn't cause CTDs at all normally. But that also depends on what kind of mod it is.
The game crashing because running out of memory to use is far more common.
Or because it encounters something it doesn't know how to handle

Or bad meshes or deleted navmeshes or...
memory isn't really an issue with SSE

My PC almost rebooted while I typed that.

If I have mods active on Xbox and I go on foot from Whiterun to Dragon Bridge there's a chance I'll crash so now I always save before crossing the bridge so if I crash and load the save it normally fixes it for awhile. I've read that pc users can manage their memory to stop crashing but I'm a console pleb.

I just have a few npc mods. If I'm lucky it doesn't crash first time. But I've found mods that affect lighting like dolomite crashes my game more when I tested it. I just use Skyrim graphic overhaul with realistic water. Other than certain areas I know may crash my game seems fine.

It sounds like it's related to your lighting mod, I used to use Vivid Weathers and it would cause the game to crash a lot
I found out by uninstalling it, crashes became way less frequent, in fact they didn't happen at all
Nowadays I use the standalone version of NAT, it just seems to work way better while being a tad bit glitchy

It was years ago I tried dolomite. That was on Fatbox One. Now I have an S and mainly just use Skyrim graphic overhaul and sometimes a weather mod I can't remember the name of that makes nights darker and lightning strikes the ground (a mod by Tarshana that causes no issues). My crashes are more frequent since the anniversary update and it was optomised for Series X/S (I have the S). My game ran much better with the fps boost mod or switching it on from the Xbox before they removed the option after optimisation. Now it stutters like it's a 50hz game when travelling outdoors. Also even without mods the creation club stuff takes slightly longer to load assets in the inventory and I had a bug where after running through that gate at High Hrothgar with the Whirlwind shout, if you move back to where you had to stand to use the shout the greybeards would walk back asking you to run through the gate again. I'm hoping they update the game to fix issues with running mods but I doubt it.

My games sometimes crashes when I run from riverwood to Whiterun gate but I believe that is a mod issue and not an actaully issue in game
Some, but from what I've seen they tend to be few and far between. There's too many people out there that like to repackage other people's hard work and claim it as their own, as well as people claiming they got permission for using a mod that they actually didn't. Not many authors are keen on their mods being in a mod pack as a result. You're just gonna have to get used to downloading mods separate from one another and working out the dependencies and conflicts and such. Realistically, it's something you'd need to learn how to do eventually anyways since you're inevitably going to want to add mods not part of the pack so you'd have to know how to do conflict resolution, etc, in order to keep it all working right. 
There's a body mod on Xbox called Nephilim that guarantees a crash when the guard outside Whiterun approaches you after going there the first time. Really nice mod too but I think Xbox can't handle the textures. Really peed me off when that happened. Even crashes the Series S.
Sounds like less a problem with the hardware and more something not set up right.
Porting from PC to console isn't always 1:1.

This may be a dumb question, but out of curiosity, what's the main draw of that mod? What do you find yourself using / using most in it? I presume it's to simply level up your character and/or test things, but I could be wrong. And since it sounds somewhat like it may fall within the scope of my Debug Menu mod it may be in its interest to look into implementing some things of a similar role.

Leveler's Tower is a classic mod from the pre-Legenary Edition Skyrim era. It was authored by Willie Sea, who was a well-known modder for Oblivion. I used it purely as a house mod in a couple of games way back in 2012. I enjoyed it, and it worked well in my games back then, but I haven't used it since.

Well Ive been searching the bethesda site for any mods that Reduce gold gained or gives the player something to spend large amounts of gold cause Im tired of having almost 100k gold with nothing to spend on and also I find being poor a good challange and I haven't found much mods outside of buying homes, which is a one time thing that doesn't intrest me

So I'm trying to make several elements of the HUD non-transparent for a specific UI I'm makng, I'm using JPEXS deompiler to make it. So far replacing spriotes works but I can't find the place to change the opacity.
I did tried to mod the Skyrim Prefs and Change HUD opacity in the settings but it's not 100% visibility

Can anyone help me out with installing a mod? I'm trying to install the mod "Paper Skyrim and Solstheim World Maps by Mirhayasu for FWMF" and I keep getting nothing but a blank purple map. I'm following the instructions right I believe, first downloading "Flat Map Markers", then "Flat World Map Framework - FWMF for Paper Skyrim and Solstheim Maps by Mirhayasu" file, then "Unlabeled Paper Skyrim and Solstheim Map by Mirhayasu for FWMF" and installed in that order. I'm just incredibly confused, like what is the proper way to install where I can actually have a paper map?
Ok never mind, think I got it now. Had to actually use my only two brain cells there lol
Yeah apparently if I have Paper Maps and also have Obsidian Weather installed, Obsidian Weather makes it so that the map are all purple.

AFT does. In the powers menu, it's "tweak make follower." The limits are 5 active followers at any time, and roughly 30 being managed by the system. If using it with something like MHIYH2+, just need to use tweak > settings > reset NPC in order to keep the AFT system from getting filled up.
The Relationship Dialogue Overhaul also has the ability to make anyone a follower; the downside is that you can't adjust the NPC's stats, so making them a follower doesn't make them any more effective in combat.

Graphic mods that make weather looks more realistic and immersive. Improved Npc and Animal graphics. Improved Landscape and Architecture graphics. Improved Water graphics. Something that fits Elder Scrolls Universe and not out of place. I guess more medieval fantasy looking.

i listed a weather mod above,npc there are a few in my mod collection linked its above this comment there are also alot of npc overhauls on beth so you should find somthing,for improved landscape try skyland or the graphics pack they arent small mods also i linked a building mod above,for water you could try oceanic waves and 3d water and filled drinks immersive effects some water aswell they will work with other water mods too there are alot of water texture mods aswell as an example realistic water 2 (i havent tried it)

i dont think there are alot of graphics packs covering buildings etc on beth (i use my own unreleased) so it might be your only choice unless you find smaller packs

Are there any quest mods who doesn't have a deep and engaging story? I'm roleplaying a guy who went to Skyrim to get rich and famous, his primary motivation for becoming Dragonborn is because Balgruff is paying him immensely.
