i'm actually trying to remove all of the cc stuff, how would i go about doing that?
I still like to know would the mods that I know don't break the game probably not break the game if I reinstall them on my older save and just work define which of the new paid mods broke my game?

This is kind of an odd question, but does anyone know of a way to convert creation engine assets to gamebryo? It's for a personal project and I haven't found any results online.

I have almost 2 crashes per hour of gameplay but since I save before specific tasks, I really don't mind it and all I do is click play on MO2 and get back to what I was doing. Of course it would be so awesome if I could have less crashes but running 140+ mods is so cool. I just have fun. I play maybe 10 hours a day so I get like 20 crashes per day. Of course it has been bad since NG and AE editions.

I genuinely believe that Fallout 4 mods are what killed my PS4 back when all I had was a laptop with an Intel HD 4000. Now I have an RTX 4070. Theres is no game that I cannot play.

I need some help for another help, I’m trying to help my brother who is also a fallout fan and is also playing fallout 4, he just installed the free creations add ons and apparently their not working for him, I even looked myself looking through everything and in his creations list, it didn’t give him an option to activate them… I’ve personally never had this issue before, I tired looking on my game to see if he missed anything I couldn’t figure it out
The first picture is what creations he downloaded, second picture showing him their not in his game or anything, like I said it didn’t give him an option to activate them
You should have an options button in the creations menu. When selected, a menu appears with an option to "Download all owned Creation Club content". Did you try ? They're not automatically installed when you buy them.

Like i had him share play his screen for me so i can look and check for myself and I tried everything that i can think of

I wanted to tell you I've tried disabling and enabling names via the holotape and I'm still seeing Brahmin listed as settlers but also I'm now seeing Junkyard dogs as well.
Gene gave one to me and once it was in the settlement it's name changed.
Is there a timeline for an update to somehow fix that? Maybe after Bethseda drop an update.

They were showing up in his library but every time he would load in into his saved game, they wouldn’t appear in his creations list or anything
If they are installed, you should have a Creation Club mention at the top of your load order as well as a few Kb's appearing in the status bar in the bottom of the LO screen. There is a dependency on bethesda.net site. Make sure that he has an active account on the website that uses the same name and email address as the one used to play FO4 on his console.

Maybe you could nake another playthrough and install only that 1 creation? If it crashes, then that one is the problem
I'm actually went back to a previous playthrough that I didn't have any of these creation clubs on and I couldn't actually play for when they released the anniversary edition because of the broken DLCs breaking my mods but I'm slowly reducing different paid mods into the load order to see if I can pinpoint the problem so far most of the mods I've tested have been fine but the only mod I am not going to try and test is the scam one the painted plasma guns cuz that's a scam mod don't pay for it even though it's just 100 credits it doesn't really do anything and it's down right annoying

It's the plasma defender, tied in with a small quest. It's up to you if you think it's worth it. Just had a patch released today to add a few things, and fix some stuff.
There's a few reviews on youtube if you'd like to preview some stuff, although it's hard to avoid spoiling the short quest
Because I got one of the mods from someone else that I found out recently was a scammer and I'm pretty sure his mod was causing my game to crash I'm just making sure that this particular mod isn't a scam and also works fine I'll probably add it after I get done playing with the Daniel The Remnant mod

It's not a scam, I consistently update my mods if anyone has any issues with them 🙂
I'm not saying yours is I just got screwed over by the painted plasma weapons mod and I'm pretty sure that one was causing my game to crash after 25 minutes every time... So I'm a little paranoid because Bethesda should have tested out all of these paid mods before allowing them to be on the store but I don't have no reason to believe you're lying

It's unfortunately a bug, it's the way I set up some of the unique weapons. Unfortunately I can't find a fix. How many times did it spawn on the vendor?

It's because it's from a levelled list picking up the unique weapon as if it's a normal variant.
Luckily it doesn't happen so often in my testing
If I ever find a fix, I'll patch it. But it may have to stay like it is, and unfortunately become less unique!
Shame, but great job with the mod! The story was great, was a lot of fun to go through! Hope to see more of your stuff in creation club….as well as Bethesda to allow more space for mods

so ive noticed an issue where left arm armors (leather armor atm) show up in first person while sneaking and using long guns. i cant figure out what mod would be causing this. i took off any mods that affected armor layering and nothing changed. any other armor mods just add stuff so idk whats up

only fix ive found so far is just not wearing left arm armor lol

I just deleted the mod, saved and redownloaded it a little while ago. I am just going to complete the main Bounty Hunter quests again and see if it works this time.
It's a new landmass + quests mod.
For whoever created the Daniel Remnant mod I like the mod I'm just a little confused on how to get him to like me more and more importantly for some reason I think my version of The Mod Daniel seems to like to talk a little more than he's supposed to I think cuz when I went to the glowing sea he kept responding about the radiation over and over again but that seems to be mainly the only time he does it when the radiation is annoying him
Okay I found something else he's very vocal about if you heal Dogmeat at all he'll go through a lot of his "healing Dogmeat" lines although I don't mind him doing that because it kind of sounds like he really likes Dogmeat and absolutely loves it when you heal the poor doggo
Okay I'm having a problem with Daniel The Remnant mod, for some reason I'm at the very end of the mod but he won't finish talking for some reason
I had to use console commands in order to progress the mod because I couldn't get Daniel to stop crying... I hope if the mod maker is reading this they can fix that please
Hey! Are you running any mods that affect affinity cooldowns? Those seem to conflict with some mod-added follower mods and makes them comment far more often than they should.
As for your other issue - I'm afraid I haven't seen that one reported by others. There is a bug with the Creations storefront for Skyrim, Starfield and Fallout 4 where it can sometimes download old/deleted versions of Creations - it's possible that might have happened with Daniel. In theory re-installing it may help solve the issue.

Hey yall, how do i fix the Lookup failed issue if i just have base game and no other mods? i own all the dlc and the creations bundle but it seems i have no other mods affecting stuff, but when i save in the open world i get LOOKUPFAILED as my save name

This only happens with no mods if the cc bundle is installed as the last CC in the list (bunker homes) ships with outdated string files. The missing name happens to be Commonwealth.
Is there a way to fix this?
Not without patching the master file or installing literally any other mod after it.

Really sucks that it’s gotten to the point where you can’t download all of the paid creations, Bethesda really needs to expand the amount you can download at the same time
The technical issue is just in how the records are loaded, in this case, it's the last loaded plugin's version of the text.
I do not recommend trying to patch official master files, personally.

Any mod that makes world space edits should suffice, like the unofficial patch just as the earliest example in a typical load order.

I don't know why but for some reason why I finally found the Brotherhood Steel Field manual it was set to own and put on top of a locker was I can't get to because when I jump I can't click it fast enough, so I had to not only a console command but also a stealth boy and position myself in such a way where I could get it... The only thing I can think of is because technically I have a mod that allows me to decide with all four factions and the Brotherhood might still be technically kind of angry at me and that's the reason why I was set to own?

And bounty system isn’t working, slaughtering diamond city guards hasn’t sent a single bounty hunter to try get some ammo

So I got the Blue Team mod off of Nexus and the armor literally acts like paper. No damage resistance or anything. Waste of time downloading it. Any other mods that include badass armor?

without crafting the uninstall utility at the chemistry station, and now my Decorations tab is completely gone in the Workshop menu.
I re-enabled and crafted the utility, but it's still missing.
Did I miss a step or do I need to completely uninstall now that I've done the crafting?

By the way everyone I believe you should never download The Painted plasma guns not only the scam but it causes the game to crash because I haven't read downloaded that one into my old save and so far my game hasn't been crashing every 25 minutes it does occasionally crash but that's because Bethesda makes a buggy game but it's rare now
Are you gonna complain about this for the rest of the year? Also I'm not sure that calling it a scam is valid. You can say it's bad, you can say that it's not worth the money but if it was a scam, there would be no mod installed after the purchase. You could say that you got bamboozled. Considering it caused my game to crash repeatedly after I downloading it and considering it didn't even do what it was supposed to yeah I say it's a scams cuz everything else works like it says it's supposed to where this doesn't and it also causes game crashes...
Ok so point me to the things it was supposed to do but did not. I'm going to guess there is no paint jobs?
Also I probably wasn't going to talk about it again because now that I know that was the cause of the crashing I'm just going to stay away from it.
It uses the idea of downloading it to allow you to paint the default plasma weapons but that's not how it works you have to find specially made painted plasma gun in order to customize anything in the game and only that but I'm pretty sure since I downloaded everything else and it hasn't caused major crashing every 25 minutes that that was the culprit that caused it meaning not only is it lying about what it is is also causing unstableness... The only benefit of the scam is that it's only a dollar or 100 credits I'm pretty certain
Also I'm sorry I'm upset I got scammed basically and had one of my save files corrupted basically because I forgot to make a backup save to return to in case one of the paid mods corrupted my game...
Thing is, I'm looking at the description and it is clearly written:
"This file adds a plasma gun that can be painted 5 different collors."
No mention of painting any vanilla plasma weapon.
That is true but like most players I don't read the description and expected something else that's how they get people, and it still made my game incredibly unstable and even then it didn't actually deliver what it said it was because before my game started crashing repeatedly because of it I could never find any of the painted plasma weapons in any of the inventories of the weapon dealers! I would say the same about the power armor helmet hat but I have found one of them one time plus I think the supervisor helmet is technically one of those?

Also on a lighter note I might have accidentally sold the unique weapon from Souvenirs of the Mojave, Chopper because I didn't realize it was unique! XD

It includes things from Creators that were meant for the original Creation Club that were never released. Be aware that not all of them work very well at the moment

I'm not sure about that besides the power armor helmet hat being incredibly rare, and I haven't even seen one of the railroad outfits but then again I haven't been to the railroad since I got the Creation Club bundle?
Some of them are pretty broken, in particular the Bunker Home pack which was very obviously not playtested considering all of the doors are labelled "Quick Test Cells," the lighting inside is completely flat, and you can't build anything inside them. As for the railroad stuff, it doesn't show up on any NPCs and it's just clothing you can pick up in RR HQ so it is pretty much useless unless you give it to someone to wear
Oh yeah I totally forgot about the bunker creation Club interior sales all saying "quick test cell" on them
But to be honest I can't check the rest of it because the last update basically fried my game

Although the One Creation Club content that kind of disappointed me the most has to be the Sea Scavengers and only because I found out what they were supposed to be and I got so disappointed because they look nothing like what they're supposed to be... Not to mention they didn't include the obvious weapon that would have been awesome for a creation Club item to have in regards to what the sea scavengers are
I personally don't even blame the mod authors for that, it wasn't finished so it wasn't released on CC but bethesda added it to the Anniversary bundle either knowing it wasnt finished or not having checked in the first place
Keep in mind this is not new stuff, it was just never released and they pushed it now to make money
Although now that I think about it the creation Club items that require radio signal tend to not work too well for me or at least the radio signal doesn't, half the time if it requires me following a signal I just have to remember where to go instead of following the signal, plus I've always hated that mechanic cuz it's so annoying
I agree. For the longest time the Classic 10mm pistol quest was broken for me because the radio signal just played nothing. Then when I completed the quest it came back up in the quest log and I couldn't finish it

It seems that the radio issue was caused by the fact that there can only be a few radio signals at once, and there are mods that fix that issue
Honestly as someone who has a modded radio station I'm not a big fan of any Quest that require me changing my radio to listen to it, after all I've noticed a lot of times if I'm not listening to my modded radio station it will break...
Yeah, but it was never released probably because of that fact. My best guess is that when they were grabbing creations to put in the bundle they took that one but never playtested it which is why it is in the state it's in

Abandoned Bunkers came out as a Creation, not from the old Creation Club which was what we had before the AE

On the note of mods that don't work, I am having trouble playing with any mods at the moment. I'm wondering if anyone who knows Vortex could help me at all because I am at a loss. I had a most list with over 200 mods and any time I launched game through F4SE it would insta CTD. I went through and disabled everything one by one but I can't find what is causing the issue. Of all the ones that I use to make my game stable, none of them seem to be causing the issue and none are out of date but my game still won't cooperate. Only by disabling everything can I launch the game via Steam

Good morning all, just wanted to say that im really liking every new achievement friendly creation 😊 keep it up!
The "quick test cell" is the least of it's problems! Have you seen the indoor fog!!!!!????? It's flipping crazy!!! Also no floor collision in build mode. How can that even happen?? Flat lighting in the couples hideout. Buttons don't work. In concord, there is an invisible bunker. Fast travel to it and you are stuck! You cannot fast travel or get out. Must revert to older save. Paper lamp flickers. 2 items don't show up in creation menu. Instead they are in regular menu. Some items that should be interactive in bunkers are not such as radio and sinks. It's so bad...please everyone, fill out a ticket for it please! The bunkers would be nice if not for the fog and no floor collision.

Not ghouls specifically, but the mod USO has a surprising amount of buildable settlers of various factions that come already in power armor. Check it out. It will surprise you.

But more than that non ferals can go feral so it's plausible a ghoul in power armor succumbed and went feral without exiting the armor.

Its one of the 253 on my PS4 load order. And I agree it's great. But I'd love to run into a bunker of Pa ghoul American soldiers. Technically in big MT there was a ghoul Chinese commander wearing PA. But ferals would be much more terrifying.
First, it provides high rad protection and it's hermetic. If you're walking on irradiated location w/o helmet, you're Gordon Freeman or just a laser target with INT -1.
Second, you didn't name any feral ghouls in PA. NV Ghouls in PA are hostile, but Marked. F76 Ghouls in PA are hostile too, but they're Scorched. The "true" feral in PA will be as harmless as F2 tin man, not funny.

Yes that is a known issue that the original Enclave Remnants author has said BGS must fix (as it’s part of the base game now).
The workaround is to kill Kellogg first

Question does anyone know if the classic melee weapon paid mod has the ability to put legendaries on the weapons you get from it? Because if it does I might go ahead and get that one because I currently have the firefighter Ax from the Commonwealth responders and I can't put legendaries on it but it's still a pretty strong axe due to me being able to put legendaries on my armor pieces that give me the barbarian Loin-cloth legendary making it basically a one hit kill melee weapon

Welp my firefighter ax I got from the Commonwealth responders due to my perks and stuff does 2109 damage whereas my new wood ax I got from the classic melee weapon pack only does 695 damage... But I can put legendaries on the one that came with the paid mod... So even though I might continue using my original axe at least I know now if I do want to go with one with legendaries then I can use the second one

By the way I'm not quite fond of the way the Livelier Perks has it where you can reroll your perks because instead of just then you pick with perks you want to remove from your current game and place them elsewhere you have to reroll everything including the ones you get from other means and that seems really really annoying meaning I'm never going to use that system!

I tried to make him use the current player home I'm using as his home which was the neon flat and then I tried getting him to claim the noir apartment as his home as well because I didn't want him living on a settlement or in home plate because it's not a very nice looking home

Yeah. If a location isn’t marked as a full settlement you generally can’t assign anyone to them.

From what I read and what I think the Creator who might have been the one that was just asking said as long as it's not a dungeon and have bed he could accept he has a home and there the one other caveat it has to have some type of visible marker (that I forget what it's called at the moment) that's usually indicated by a Mr Handy Box

Yeah like I said he asked me a question earlier about my problem although I'm also having a problem getting Daniel take some magazines off of me to make him good at lockpicking or hacking, at first I thought all I had to do was get a copy of the magazine that gives him the ability and put it in his inventory so what I did was I use a duplication glitch to duplicate the magazines to give it to him so I can keep my magazine collection intact by giving him the copies, but he doesn't work like that you're supposed to give it to him through dialogue and I can't get him to do that
Can confirm Daniel has a unique system for assignment - you can send him to settlements as usual, but you can also via dialogue designate any "suitable" location as his home; and that's what seems to be flagging Noir Apartment and Neon Flats as unsuitable which is odd. Will be looking into it later tonight 🙂

Found the reason why! "Technically" those homes don't have a "center marker" (a technical thing) which is one of the requirements for Daniel's custom house setting system - but I can switch to using something else.
Basically, I'll have this fixed in the next patch! Hopefully out soon. Thanks again for the report 🙂

Hmm. Only thing you can do is close the game and restart to see if it says you are able to enable them. The game was doing that with certain Creations before too but they were apparently enabled still.

Sound is custom, but I agree that it’s a bit quiet. Working on fixing it for sawed Off and future shotgun creation. Tho with power issues, I can’t reliably say when the update will go live (I live in Kyiv)
Good to hear! I hope it sounds closer to a proper 12 gauge when fixed! The model, animations and the custom smoke effects on reload are all beautiful, just after firing it was disappointed at the sound as shotguns got a loud sharp bang lol

ArmorKeywords make me crash every single time once I get to a certain point.. It did when I was on the X-Box and I never bothered touching it on the PC.
The Frameworks are for running other mods though and you don't need them if you're not going to run the mods that the frameworks are built on..
You might even have missing dependent files which will make you crash
For example.. If you load a version that requires the DLC to be installed but you don't own the DLC, that will make your game crash before loading the main menu

So are you making a mod that adds or changes buildings or terrain? Navmeshes are for helping Actors move around buildings and terrain sensibly.
You need the CK and there are 2 ways to do it. Havok navmesh generation works pretty well for flat terrain. Do not use it for anything that has multiple levels. Recast generation, this works for multiple levels and slopes. You will probably need to fix errors but you will need to do that anyway. Good luck!
I should add Navmesh is awful to work with.

so i have a mod that adds the ability to make a fully custom radio station with custom songs you manually put in. however..... it dont shuffle. that broke many many updates ago. the mod still works but its shuffle function dont... which btw if anyone can help me restore the shuffle or make some kind of Shuffler batch id appreciate it.
the mod in question being the 2099 Fallout Pipboy radio. which allows you to have upwards of 100 songs in a radiostation (or more if you include multiple songs per file.)
i dont want to have to manually rename all 100 song files to be able to have a different song order.
Question is there a reason why almost no one that makes paid mods makes any that is incorporated into Nuka World or Far Harbor? There are mods that allow you to invade nuka world with the minutemen but none of a good standard
There was a mod called Nuka World Plus where you could take over the park with your group of faction from the base game and afterwards they will inhabit the park but the mod was kind of broken by the next gen and hasn't been repaired...

specifically I tried to install the cheat sheet mod and in the game I was permanently stuck in the main menu unable to run my save file
and when I uninstalled the mod everything's back to normal again

There is a mod called Craftable Building Supplies that allows you to craft 1k stack of material at the chem station for 1 cap each. Technically cheating but it's pretty useful.🤷♂️

I have a question, is their a work around to the Long launch time for the F4SE launcher? Basically I want to try and create a mod where all the cells interact with each other, where what happens in one cell, will affect the other..
Fallout 4 already seems to use a cell based world grid.. But the engine is the issue..
This can be caused by loose files. Pack up all your loose files for faster load times.
I already did that, the game still takes a while to launch.
You probably have too many mods then.

Start with something much simpler. Like a mod where an action in one cell affects something else in an adjacent cell.
Typically you would want a grid of like 9 cells.. Cause you want your first cell to have neighbors.. Each cell would hold values like Radiation level, mutant presence, settlement stability, vegetation, signal strength, faction control, weather state etc..
Radiation slowly spreading from irradiated creatures and zones across the map would probably be easiest to work with..
And players would clean it up with tech or decontamination tools, reclaiming areas

Even if you just mean horizontal distance and ignore vertical, “it depends”, because different kinds of distances are scaled differently. Like, the size of buildings vs the space between buildings is scaled differently. And weapon range is scaled differently than that. Etc

So as close to what looks natural between reality and game would be what I'm looking for, vertical distance would also be great as I'm working on old growth forests if I can

Basically the entire railroad HQ wall ground and ceiling textures weren't loading so I was just getting the random visual glitch you normally get when you look past what the game wants you to see!

I can find the vanilla leather armor easy. It's the leather armour from that mod ( one that resembles the new vegas leather armor ) that I cannot find at all.

Indirectly, yes. Because of their external asset rules several fixes that were made that should have worked on new games simply didn't and would have required scripts to fix.
If they ever unpucker their sphincters and allow for that sort of thing in the future then we will be able to offer the patch again.

From some posts I've seen elsewhere, the pistol that comes with SotM is a Plasma Defender. The only differences are that the PD that comes with RotVG is a pistol only with limited customization options, whereas the PD that comes with SotM has full customization options(rifle mods, paint jobs, etc).
Tbh I wouldn’t worry much about it anyways. Tends to make too many unnecessary changes, and it borks performance for me
After I removed it, my performance increased dramatically, especially within boston. Not sure why it would affect performance, but it does, for me on series x at least

You could always install mods that are pre built settlements and then use settler markers to stage where you want your settlers and what they are doing.
Well I think SS2 is a great mod, I loved it and it's my firm belief something similar should be added in the "base game" or maybe in Fallout 5. But when I was using it, every loading went from a few seconds to 5+ minutes

If a fix worked on PS it would stay working unless someone added a mod that reverted that fix. So that part was fine.
It's just that some things simply wouldn't fix themselves even on a new game and it was because certain things need scripts to set up. Which weren't allowed until recently. Problem is that we need PS to support ALL asset types, not just scripts.
I think of it as a overhaul. Don’t add much to a modlist with SS2 in it. It adds so much already anyway.

@barren iris a bit of googling around... it was recommended to build the associated quest console in a settlement. I did, and get radiant quests that way, now. It was nicer talking to Schultz, but this works.

You know I really wish Bethesda would allow their paid mod makers the ability to make content that can interact with the Canon DLCs! Because it's kind of annoying to me that I can paint a good majority of the base game weaponry but not a single one of either of the dlc's weapons, or the fact that some of the DLC could actually use a bit of a touch of especially Nuka world after all for those of us who aren't evil Nuka world is extremely disappointing... Idk that I agree with Nuka World being disappointing to non-evil players. I proceed until Dr. Bridgeman gives me the Open Season quest, then kill them all. Sometimes I wait until after taking out the gang that turned on me (Always the Disciples, because they simply deserve to die), and if I go that far I use the Skip Home Sweet Home mod. Other times I proceed straight through the market after talking to Gage at the arena and get the quest first thing. Then I go around the rest of the map just handling whatever else comes up.
All that being said, I do agree that Far Harbor is hands down the superior dlc of the two, though.
Anyone having issues with SS2 Chapter 2 on Xbox? Keeps telling me I don’t have enough storage space but I have enough.
I even tried uninstalling all my mods and tried downloading that one first and same results.

It's unfortunately a bug with the current UI for Creations. You need exactly twice the amount of space a mod says it requires to download, making giant mods like Sims Settlements 2 nearly unplayable on Console, at least until the 100GB expansion comes along...
Basically, download your biggest mods first, and so long as you have twice the space the mod takes, it will download

The player is not voiced, I was able to edit the dialogue structure so it feels like Starfield, you select and answer the NPC responds.

The way I changed the dialogue won't feel like there is a missing player voice. I was able to entirely cut out the camera showing the player, the dialogue will feel exactly like Starfield, it remains in first person and the game won't wait for the player to say stuff.
(But perhaps I should highlight that as a feature in the description)

The Revenge of the Van Graffs CC pack seems bugged. The quest is in my quest log, the SOS signal is in my radio tab, but when I select the SoS signal, I don't hear anything.
Update: I'm not sure what was going on initially, but I was able to get the quest to progress.

@hexed fractal I absolutely hate the follow the radio signal stuff. It was a minor annoyance at first. My absolute disdain for it came with the Tesla Cannon CC pack. I was wandering all over the Glowing Sea before I found the blasted thing. Just give me a blessed map marker any day.

Like I think th problem is the radio signal updates every few seconds with a number right? So if you change directions you don’t realise you are going closer or further til a few seconds after
I maybe reading too much into this, but it feels like the Lining options for the Combat Armor are a nod to the regular Combat Armor from Fallout 3 and New Vegas, the Van Graff Combat armor from New Vegas and the US Army Combat Armor from New Vegas's Lonesome Road dlc.
If you are on pc, there are a few ways you can customize each and every settler. Console is more limiting. But type in "settlers" and see what comes up. Not sure if diverse settlers is on console. Better settlers is good but old.

damn wacky weapons workshop is so fun, turned the assault rifle into more of an actual anti-tank machine gun
On PS5 you can use USO . It allows you to build antennas that allows to summon 3 settlers at a time. SKK workshop utilities also allows settlers recruitment after building an item. And on xbox cheat terminal allows to spawn settlers, don't know for PS.

Chat, what's the work flow to generate lip sync file for Fallout 4 in 2026? Tried Kinggath/Seddon's way, ie. LIPGenerator.bat→XWM.bat(xwnaebcide.exe)→LipFuzer.bat(LIPFuzer.exe). BUT cant work out the 1st place since Creationkit32 refused to be patched. (most likely the patch long obsoleted)
With unpatched Creationkit32, run LIPGenerator.bat opens the cmd window. Typed in my .esp name, CreationKit32 launched yet last lessed then seconds then closed up with nothing happened.

- Also the .wav file format are checked: sample rate 44.1kHz with 16-bit PCM encoded, mono wav. Strange enough that those entries recorded through CreationKit do have corresponding Lip file. But it still cant generate lip files from .wav.

I 100% agree. I'm a PlayStation user myself and this entire update has been mostly pointless and only introduced bugs and issues instead of any new content. So unless there's so legitimate proof that there's going to be some changes very soon, I would prefer them to just remove Creations completely to preserve the integrity of the game on PS. Not worth all these problems

Creations on PlayStation is not even comparable to any DLC in scope of size or substance. Even if all the issues were to be magically resolved over night, the game would still be identical to how it was prior to the anniversary update but with a few more minor micro-transactions. No varmint rifle, no van graff, and no T-60 pistol as everyone else's consolation for all their issues.

They USED to be fine when they were optional, like DLC, and for the people who chose not to use them would have no impact on their vanilla game. This anniversary update broke the games of people who don't even use mods or want to use them. That's no longer optional and that is not fine.

Does anyone know of a mod that removes the faces/heads, except for the helmets, of the Enclave soldiers outside of their Power Armor with the new Fallout 4 update? I read that some had this issue without mods as well. I'm asking because I came across the Enclave base in Fallout 4, in the Glowing Sea, and their faces are missing. Only the helmets are visible. It came with the High Resolution Texture Pack. Lots of mod authors have been having to update mods. I think this particular Creation Club asset took a hit as well, or it was always buggy. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any conflicting mods that cause this bug. I read that someone moved a specific Creation Club: ccotmfo4001-remnants file into another location to correct it, but I'm not sure what they were talking about. Maybe Bethesda made a mistake with where they put the file pertaining to its load order.

I get why there is so much PA but having a Creation about “retaking” Quincy not ending with you actually retaking it and making it a Settlement, or at the very least populating it with friendly NPCs, is just insulting.
So does having the creation club bundle downloaded cause crashes while having mods ? I'm using the same load order I've used for months without issues until now
If you go over the archive or plugin limit the game just crashes on startup, the creation bundle is unfortunately a huge contributing factor to the plugins

Yup crashed on start up every time, it looks like I'm able to install individual creations from the bundle, it would probably be fine if I just didn't download the skin bloat right ? Since that's a massive majority of the creations anyway

Yeah it was definitely the bundle causing the crashes, I normally play with 150 mods to begin with which although it runs smoothly without hiccups I can definitely see why adding a 150 more to that would cause the crashes lmao

Careful, it gets very addictive, been tweaking my main modlist for about 9 years now and have about 500+ mods
only in the 90s but also I've restarted runs wholly based on finding a pluging that looked fun and then spending two days tweaking the load order
crossing fingers that I can actually start this run without having to make my own compatibility patch for a specific pair of mods

I use Real.ai as my preffered NPC reprogrammer. Man. It really makes the enemies a little smarter. Add on this one mod that makes every ghoul be renamed to Zombie and another that makes them like fallout 1/2 zombies... Heh

My issue with this real.ai mod is enemies will basically nonstop fight. And. Are all now legally classifiable as snipers. Adds extra difficulty and hardware strain
Yeah it’s a terrible mod for that reason. No such thing as calm anymore, and any enemies within a huge radius will just kill eachother

My idea was for her to be available if you finish blind betrayal either with Danse alive or Maxon killing him.
Affinity wise, I’d probably just copy/ paste the list of danse’s likes and dislikes.

Companion perk wise, it could be something medic themed not unlike curie, since she is stated to function as the police station groups medic multiple times.

I see where they’re coming from. I think they’re trying to show what happens when the BoS looses its discipline or runs out of existential threats to define themselves against
Not that their wasteland is peaceful, but there’s nothing that threatens them specifically.
I do like the fact that they show that there are different factions of the BoS that are quite different from each other
And they are being somewhat true to the Fallout principle that every faction is grey and has strengths and weaknesses
I just wish that the brotherhood had the classic trade off of super competent and exclusionary, instead of utterly incompetent and prone to infighting but strong.

Recruit scribe haylen as settler is a really good mod. I usually have her leave the bos after blind betrayal and bring her into the minutemen as a medic

Xbox did briefly have an issue with the DLC at the beginning of the AE update but it was fixed pretty quickly. Like less than 2 weeks
are there any mods that makes VATS act like it would in fo76? fo4 vats just feels clunky and just dont like it

I think my only real complaint about having to wait for the mod storage update is this:
I bought the 10-year anniversary upgrade after seeing how much new content was being added to what’s honestly my favorite game ever. It felt exciting again. But the reality is that with the 2 GB mod storage limit, a lot of that new content just isn’t usable. Tale of the the Beast Hunter & Become a Bounty Hunter are over half a GB by themselves—and that’s not even counting the “ghost storage” that slowly eats away at your space no matter how careful you are.
So instead of enjoying what I paid for, I’m stuck playing mental Tetris with my load order, constantly picking and choosing which paid mods I’m allowed to keep installed. It feels less like expanding the game and more like rationing content I already own.
What makes it worse is that we’re now three months past the anniversary launch. I’ve tried to be patient, and I know a lot of people have already voiced similar complaints, but it’s hard not to feel disappointed when I’ve put more money into a 10 year old game and its new Creations without really getting to experience much of anything new because of a hard storage cap.
I don’t regret supporting the game—I want to support it. I just wish the storage limitations had been addressed alongside the release of larger, paid content. Right now, it feels like the potential is there, but the system itself won’t let players actually use it.
@main mist I've recently asked about logs and you answered with Buffout, remember? Welp, for some illogical reason Fallout 4 works again... when I removed all Creations folder, ignoring all mods. I haven't upload all my Paid Creation Bundle yet, I still don't disappointed (I was born ready to play Bethesda games
), so I'll wait for updates, quietly.
There are set of mods called VATS (something?) Project that let you configure it different ways: total time freeze, no time slowdown at all, or no VATS.

In hindsight it would have been great if they had added something like multiple mod profiles that you could manage independently of the storage limit. Like what you get with a 3rd party mod manager
Those ones just remove the slowdown effect which would probably make it worse

That’s one of the things they can do. They can do a lot of different things. What do you want them to do?
I have not played FO76 much but my understanding is that VATS runs in real time with no time slowdown. The mods I mentioned will let you do that.
Maybe some of them were outdated, it's hard to detect not in-game, especially when at first everything works "okay"

So I've been working on this since last week (for VC) and wanted to share it now. Modular Military Tents will allow you to build your own tent network. It's in the same spirit of Sandbag Fortifications that I made a couple years back.
Will be around 13-15 parts in the kit which you can snap-together to get your own setups.

The 6x2 piece will have 3 version - Door/opening on one side, door on both sides, and closed on both sides.

Tunnel pieces can be snapped to the door versions of the 6x2 tent to make distant tents accessible.

External Power Armor Bays with enough space for PA frames.

Snap-able tarp doors and snap-able windows with open/closed versions.

The tent frames are on wooden blocks so they'll be able to sink into the ground. No floating issues!!!!!

Ad Victoriam! And Flyable Personal Vertibird were fighting with each other, and weren’t letting me control the vertibirds.
I tried to patch it, but couldn’t find the files they were both referring to.
I gave up and downloaded Warhawk, reasoning that if I can’t use a regular vertibird, I could use that.
FPV works with the Ad Victoriam vertibirds now.

It’s not a good idea to mix mods (Creations) from the Creations menu, with 3rd party mods from Nexus. It’s possible but it’s not for the beginner. For the time being stick with one method or the other. And for Nexus you should also download a 3rd party mod manager.
Probably impossible because of the way save files work. The best you could do probably is to get a respec mod and switch between “characters” by respec-ing your character. But they would all have the same XP, affinities, quest status etc.

Companions can have levels and perks. But not XP or quests or affinity as far as I know. But it might be possible to do it that way? Each “persona” is “stored” as a companion when not “in use” as the player character?
I guess stuff like XP, factions and affinities could be stored in variables and reinstated when you resume that persona.
Quest status though would be very difficult because that is basically global game state.
And minor issues like some weapons and gear can only be used by the PC

Each perk, exp amount, ect for the companion could be logged as a global variable, and face and body data could be stored as a preset, no? With a single governing global keeping track of which character you are, and which set of variables are active/ changed when you level up?
Question does anyone know how often the Paladin Sword just put into the merchant inventory of the Brotherhood of Steel quartermasters?
I thought it just gave you one after blind betrayal when you become a paladin
Technically I installed the mod after I was already made a paladin I believe so I didn't get my default one but I did get a special one considering I spare Paladin Danse but I would like a regular one to modify however I like because the one I got as a unique has a unique blade to it!
And it did give me the special one as soon as I boot up the game with the mod installed but it didn't give me a regular one for being a paladin and I'm kind of hoping I could buy it off of Teagan eventually? Because I really don't want to change the unique blade that comes with the one you get from Paladin Danse but if I have to I will?
Actually technically you are right the mod did give me a Paladin sword as soon as I completed blind betrayal but it gave me a special one since I didn't side with elder Maxson because I hate that guy

Thanks partner yesterday I installed that mod and the Ranger Power Armor mod at the same time two of the only three mods I ever got to work off of Nexus instead of the in-game mod manager!
Although is it normal for mods you install though Nexus manually to not have icons when you go to your load order because I noticed that would the ones I've downloaded?
Also more importantly aren't there only two Brotherhood of Steel vendors Teagan and the doctor and I didn't even know the doctor one was a vendor?!?
I didn’t realize knight captain Cade would count. My brain had him filed under generic doctor
I mean I don't think he sells the sword but he's technically a vendor but I never realized that until I started looking for the sword because I just thought he was there to do your screening for the Brotherhood

For the life of me I couldn't get anything but the Bethesda approved ones to work because anytime I try to get a mod off of the Nexus it would usually not work... Fortunately though I got a few of them to work
I think normally when people mix mod managers they copy the Bethesda Creations to the folder of their 3rd party mod manager and manage it all from there?
I wasn't asking if he sold the sword just if he was a vendor because due to a wounded mongrel dog mod I have it breaks a few of the NPC dialogues with me and doesn't even let me talk to them! Including one of my own companions who I can't talk to anymore but she won't leave my company either then again she's just a dog so it's fine that she won't talk to me she didn't have much to say in the first place!

So that's two vendors I never knew existed on the Brotherhood of Steel because I never really need that much healing supplies usually because I always have a crap ton of it and because I don't play on survival because I don't like some of the mechanics on that I don't need to eat too often even though I would love that to be a mechanic you can turn on without having to turn on all the other survival mode nonsense
I have learned to love all of Survival but I strongly agree that you should have been able to pick and choose aspects of it
Eg
- console or not
- save or not
- damage
- food and water
- disease
- carry weight
- healing nerfs
After all I did do a play through where I didn't fast travel but I didn't do it on survival mode because I didn't want to have to deal with all that other stuff but I did kind of have fun not having to rely on fast travel as much as I used to granted due to my own modded experience the game did become a bit annoying at certain points due to having to wait for in game loading screens, but in order to make sure I didn't accidentally fast travel I would usually have to put in a console command that prevents you from being able to fast travel!
But I had to do that every time I booted up the game
You see so much more when you don’t fast travel. One of the reasons I love Survival
Also has anyone else had the experience of doing the duplication glitch and every once in awhile when you save an exit to the menu when you go to load up your game instead of your saves it has some random Tom Mack in it's place the first time that happened to me I got really scared that I lost all of my saves turns out all you got to do to fix this weird bug is exit the game fully and then reboot it and you're saves return
Since AE I have had an issue where Continue does not load the most recent save but loads an older save, often a different character.

I mean I've had a similar annoyance every time I boot up Fallout 4 lately I have to make sure I go and reactivate a good majority of my mods for save then after doing that have to try and Boot up my save only for it to say I don't have all of my mods that I had for that active tell it to use those things it don't do what it's supposed to then have to go and reactivate the mods yet again because even more of them have been turned off now and then when I try to load up the game again it does it without giving me any more trouble...
If I wanted to cheat I would use DLC items and CC items. Or I’d just water-farm. 😁
The DLC items break Survival
And one of my saves I actually have a water farm system with multiple settlements with tons of production of water and thanks to a mod vendor I actually have the ability to sell tons of purified water for tons of caps because for some reason the vendor of this mod is outrageously loaded with caps so I was making bank fast to the point where my game can't even keep up with how much caps I have anymore
But the problem with the water Farm technique is even if you have tons of caps you can't always guarantee the vendors that sell the ammo you want with have enough for your needs!!! After all I would love to be overloaded with ammo then to run out at all!!!
Or at the very least if medicine has negative side effects.
I can deal with everything else, but that is the most frustrating part for me.

Been trying to troubleshoot Nuka Park Settlements Plus, if there's any way I can fix it, for almost a week. However, it stopped being updated years ago. It's too bad I decided to try using it anyway and didn't see any issues for a while of playing, so I'm kinda stuck with it now that the issues showed up. ,_,

Take it slowly and one step at a time. Start with just Bethesda mods from the in game Creations menu.
Levels of experience are like:
Beginner: use only the built in Creations menu
Intermediate: use only Nexus and [one!] 3rd party manager like Vortex
Advanced: use F4SE
Very Advanced: mix and match different methods
Yeah, but people are telling me that MO2 will only work with F4SE
They are trying to get you to run before you have learned to walk
I've used creation menu for a long time but I wanted to use the more vast mods on Nexus, I used vortex first and it didn't work so now I'm using MO2 and none of my mods are still working
Only certain mods require F4SE. Admittedly they are often very nice mods.
Probably your mods are not working due to a mix of different sources (Nexus vs Bethesda.net/built in Creations) and a mix of different mod managers.
It might be best to reinstall the game or do Verify Files in Steam, before going further
MO2 and Vortex both have different ways of handling mods and they generally don't play nice with each other.

I'm gonna be honest, that didn't help with my problem at all
I wonder if there's any way I can get info like that to help troubleshoot why Nuka World Settlements Plus isn't functioning properly for me.
Settlements are half working, half not. I can acquire them and scrap/build in them, but the game doesn't recognize them on the settlement list, so I can't send trade routes or settlers to them, and they don't benefit from any routes I managed to send out. I also can't build certain items (like the call bell and brahmin feed troughs, and oddly, bars) and shops don't function when assigned.
I doublechecked the author's permissions and they gave full permission to patch it with credit, so I'm wondering if I can learn how to fix the mod myself since it hasn't been updated in years (and thereby hasn't been updated for AE/NextGen), or if I can get help with it.

Ah, thank you very much! I use some of Tenhat's mods. I really like them. I would have gone with theirs for Nuka-World settlements entirely if they'd made ones for the park areas. Instead I only used the ones that weren't redundant with this.
Hope I can get my head around this and see if I can fix this mod. If I can, I'd like to upload it here so everyone can benefit. (Doublechecked author permissions.)
This will also help me learn how to set up settlements well for my own mod project. Because I'll definitely need it. 
If only the creator of Nuka World Plus would have given his blessings to someone else to take over his mod before he lost the files to it maybe that mod could have been saved from the NextGen curse...
