As a console player I've learned to get over it and have just a little faith in the devs to fix the problem ASAP and loe and behold they did

Yeah because the mod menu probably disabled your mods. The hotfix that lets you reenable them will be sometime soon

Well if a mods causing stutter that's a different problem but the update fixed the problem with the mod menu
Before the ae update mods that edited npc records like faction overhauls could cause stutter problems. I was wondering if they succeeded in patching that in the latest version. My mod menus fine now

Awesome 275 out if 276 mods are repaired. I am not even mad at that. It's just useless stuff that don't matter. Better than my 100 out of 275 lol. Hopefully December's fix can repair the rest.

If you have the bundle they'll do that, it'll say they're not installed but they should load fine when you actually play the game

I'm going to say it here because I guess the power armor backpacks are mod a paid mod mind you but mod still, but I think I found the bug I can put the backpack on the back of the helmet for some reason?
Okay the power armor backpack mod seems to be very broken, because I can put the backpack on pretty much every piece of the power armor but I don't think it actually supposed to be allowed to be put there?
I'm tempted to use the bug but I don't want to do it because if it gets fixed that might mess up my game... But then again I'm not even sure if it's a bug or if you're supposed to be able to put the backpack on all the parts of the armor?

I do not recommend mods that place you outside of the vault instantly. There is a lot of stuff going on when you are in the vault. Mods for example use it to load stuff. And mods that trigger when you exit the vault might bug out when you use mods that start you outside of the elevator.

Fount a cool revolver mod
i highly recommend simple quick start. basically drops you in nates bathroom to make your character then teleports you to exting the cryo pod. that combined with skk fast start that activates once you leave the vault and you can choose damn near any starting location without messing up your save by skipping the vault

The painter2099 service rifle port to Xbox is having a issue for me. When I pull the gun out it doesn’t load a round into the chamber correctly like my hand isn’t making contact with the button or make the charging handle . What can I do to fix it?

Yes, it would be similar to them, but smaller. You travel to a new worldspace and can do quests and encounter npcs

Yeah, I have USO integrated base mod and the USO vault tec mod, but the vault tec one won't activate

That im not sure off, there's the uso base game mod, then lots of uso dlc add ons, base game works fine, unsure of the dlc uso mods have been patched or not, creations says there all up to date though 🤷♂️ sorry if I sound stupid, not "savvy" on mods, all I know is, it worked before the update and now it doesn't 🤣
Other dlc reliable mods work though, just this one so far won't work for me

Yeah, got all the dlc's installed, all working, only thing I can think off is that I need to do the vault mission to open the workshop maybe? Then the mod might activate? Not done the mission yet, gonna do it tomorrow and see if that fixes it, sleep time for me shortly
i can't really give any specifics, but all i can say is that it should be out soon. it's definitely an annoying issue so i understand the frustration

That's not how it works, at all I don't know what the issue is but that certainly won't fix it.

You probably miss a couple of quest triggers which can mess up things. And stuff might not be loading correctly.
I’ve got deadly commonwealth which revamps and adds a bunch of raider, children of atom, and gunner stuff.

I'm waiting for myself to do Maxwell's World before I install the Modding for Charity mods on my new playthrough because I remember last time I had the Trunk's Malfunction and I went to the park after I acquired Trunk as a companion and I went back to Diamond City to get him he refused to come back to be in my companion until I used another mod that allows me to recruit settlers from all over the Commonwealth including special NPCs to move him to Red Rocket and then I could somehow recruit him as a companion then again.
Cannot wait for later, really excited for what's to come today.

Okay I'm curious aren't the creation club content already paid mods because most of them weren't made by Bethesda but instead modders that work for Bethesda so why did they have to implement new paid modders?

Fallout 4 now matches Skyrim/Starfield
Creation Club was also done. They had a couple more ready for release but the whole system was tied up in legal issues, which can’t be discussed on the server. Just made sense to standardize moving forward. Besides, without the new menu, I’m not sure console players would get a storage increase (though I have no idea if they’re related).
Aye the menu is definitely an improvement imo, sure it's missing the ability to switch most popular and such from this week to monthly or all time but most of those mods are simply outdated or just buggy compared to modern mods
Creation club also is tied up in the baggage of being essentially dlc where it needs to somewhat fit the lore and add content, creations can be anything and just pass qa

this is probably a question being asked a lot but I downloaded the patch after the anniversary update and im still not able to use mods that require dlc's like nuka world is this being fixed? or is a Modder fixing it/would it be possible?
“External assets” refers to everything that isn’t a plugin, so unfortunately that includes meshes, textures, materials, etc. as well 😔
indeed. that mod, specifically, only has additional scripts... so, custom scripts, which is an external asset

I already got permission from Eli, to add support to her outfits mods, if you have any suggestion on other mods, feel free to mention. It does not add dependency to the mods, but soft checks if they are around and show the outfits (as long as the mod is searching for them)
I have to say I appreciate that these new creations all offer content that is supposed to be tackled at higher levels. I am getting destroyed at most of these trying it on a new-ish character 😅

The creation menus got a limit on how much it'll show so if you're after a specific old CC just search it's name and it should pop up

Just bought the new Bounty Hunter Creation, and now I can't access tje Creations tab. Anytime I try, a notification pops saying "The Operation could not be completed".
Also, the game is slow when closing it and there's stutters when launching it.

I play on Xbox & have the anniversary edition content.
In addition I am only attempting to download munitions and Daks weapons mods.
When I hit a certain number of Dak weapon mod downloads and back out to main menu the game crashes then continuously crashes on start up.
Is there a limit to the number of weapon mods you can download?

I like the body texture mods the weapon mods some FPS mods to help with proformance Animation mods so for me it adds up and some bug fixes mods as well
This has been the theory lately because the AE bundle gives you 150 creations. Now, a lot of these being skins shouldn't cause this issue but things have been wonky lately.

It’s because sony has restrictions on external assets, like mod content. They recently allowed skyrim creations/mods to have custom scripts, so hopefully they do the same (or more) for fo4 🤞

You could try following a pc modlist and just sont grab any of the F4SE mods.

Disable MODS delete the save data and game data or do a hard reset on the console or reinstall the game and before the update Bethesda told folks not too have main menu mods or it will mess up with the new update

This was a transient server issue that seems to be fixed now
The lag on exit is fixed by the Nov 17 hotfix to AE.
You can also do "Download all my paid Creations"
The official statement was that AE fixes that NPC stutter issue. I can't confirm though.
There is a guy who maintains a set of enhancement patches for the CK. Maybe they could fix this in the mean time?

I found the bug with the proton axe mod apparently if you put it in the weapon display it can disappear on you good thing I didn't put one of the good ones on the display but I can't seem to find where the electron axe went
Either that or the weapon display racks are bugged and to not be used to store good weapons in at the moment
Okay something weird just happened I was about to head to the store when I decided to try and experiment and putting up a new weapons rack with a pipe pistol in it to see if the weapon racks are just bugged but as soon as I went to go put it where the ax was I noticed the ax was floating there even though I scrap the weapon rack that was holding it?!?

As long as you are still on CK 1.10 at this time, it works for the most part, the main issue so far is figuring out what changed in AE
The main bug with 1.11 right now is that new records are being assigned the FF prefix on load, which I've reported to the developer

It isn’t compatible with latest update. Bethesda gave notice not to use UI/HUD creations several weeks before the Fallout Day update. The update completely changed HUDMenu and several other UIs.
Remove the creation and start a new game without it. If you cannot access the menu at all, clear your reserve space so you can get to the menu to delete the save.

Not sure what you’re asking. If you cannot find a weapon mod you like, you can make your own. The game is moddable and as of Fallout Day, is play anywhere. You can have the same load order on game pass PC and take that save onto Xbox. You just cannot use any script extender creations. But you can use console commands on PC and then use the save on Xbox.
As long as the mods are identical on both platforms, then your load order is play anywhere. So no NexusMods creations. Just the ones you can download on the Bethesda website through the creations interface.
The update made the game like Starfield’s play anywhere.

ng cubemaps fix still works fine place it at the bottom of any texture mods you might be using. If the cubemaps are still broken you have a mod that shipped with bad cubemaps and you're outta luck im afraid unless you can find which mod it is and contact the porter or author depending on what the mod is.

Textures aren't a thing for Fallout 4 PlayStation. There's not enough room to download and Sony hasn't given the go ahead. Only Skyrim verified creators can use the Skyrim beta CK to upload scripting for their PlayStation mods right now. No other assets.

There are at least two more updates planned before the TV season premiere so it's premature to predict they won't fix it.

Hey everyone, I need some help with the Creation Bundle on PS5.
The “Creation Bundle” shows as installed in the PS5 Add-Ons, but in-game the individual creations never appear.
In the new “Creations” menu, I can’t find:
• any “Purchased” section,
• anything to download,
• and none of the missions, weapons, or workshop items show up in my save.
I already tried: full game reinstall, reinstalling all DLC, restoring PS5 licenses, restarting the console, checking every category in the new Creations menu… nothing changes.
Does anyone know how to make the individual creations from the bundle show up with the new next-gen menu?

It might be your game just bugging unfortunately and fortunately theres a way to fix it but you may have to delete you save data
Hi everyone, does anyone know why all the mods I have in my library keep reinstalling every time I launch the game, as if I hadn't done it before? I do it every time, and my mod space keeps filling up.

I have as much information as the announcements here. Did I miss one that said we had a new CK beta for FO4? The announcement for scripts only said Skyrim that I’m aware of. And the other one only said they were working to get the one BGS published for Hobgoblin on PlayStation and adding space.
Downloads require double space. There’s not enough room on PlayStation to even think about adding extra stuff atm.

Current CK doesn’t archive for PS. If it’s anything like previous versions, those textures are packaged differently than anything on Windows. We need a CK to pack them correctly.
We do but betheda opend the way for porting it seems the mod didnt work for me tho because im ps4 the meshes didnt load because if that but it worked the same
It was the same with skyrim when bethesda first did porting when the fixed the modding menu
There’s a lot of stuff that probably needs to be done to get things ready and Bethesda doesn’t have a reputation of overworking their people to get things done. Keep an eye out for the space updates.
If Sony is no longer supporting PlayStation 4 though you might want to switch to a newer console though. Hubby enjoys his. The graphics are really nice.

It looks like it might be an automatic thing now if you've already created a save with the current load order after Nov 10th. You may need to go ahead and submit a support ticket that the backup isn't working for you.
I've disabled all my mods affecting ghouls or character creation to see if it's a conflict and it still crashes right after I take the inhaler, I'm on the series X
Did you start a new game to make sure that there weren't any caching issues first? Disabling mods in the middle of the game is the leading cause for crashing any mods.
Speaking of that, once I entered the creations menu, I tried saving my load order to bethesda.net and I had no problems with that.

Has anybody an idea why, when I download some specific mods on XBOX, leave the mod menu and the game reloads, it crashes to desktop and I can't load it anymore? It always crashes right after the Bethesda-Vault-Logo/short SPECIAL film that plays as the game boots up...
I've been sitting on this for over 7 hours now, trying to figure out which mods cause this and which are fine and I can't find a pattern. At first I thought it was something regarding anything that needs munitions but after deinstalling everything that has anything to do with munitions and trying to install vanilla options for the weapons, it still crashes... Even with brand new mods, released just days ago

I'm not sure if it's the same issue, but mine is crashing at the same spot. I have 61 mods showing in my in-game library that have been deleted from bethesda.net, along with clearing the cache and completely uninstalling the game. I can't get rid of them no matter what I do. It works fine until I get to around 120 new mods downloaded, then it starts the same crash. I'm assuming with all the CC crap I've hit the plugin limit of 255. I'm not 100% sure about that, but in order to get back in you'll probably have to clear your reserved space. That will delete all of your mods though. Unfortunately, that's the only way I've found to get the game to load again, so far.
Yeah, been clearing my reserved space for the whole time, then entering the game again, downloading the CC-stuff and then my mods.
I'm at around 116 mods but was on a higher number already and it worked, at least the game didn't crash.
In all these hours I haven't even started a new game, yet, so nu clue if that would work
So over 7 hours of downloading CC-stuff, then the mods (thankfully the load order saving on Bethesda.net works and makes it much easier now), then activating mods that have been downloaded as deactivated, checking if they work, if so, try another one until one doesn't work, then gaving to deinstall everything by clearing the reserved space and starting again...
Ugh, I feel for ya. I've been doing the same thing all day. I gave up for a bit and tried to start a vanilla run, but that didn't last long...lol.
Are you showing mods in your in-game library that you've deleted? I've had luck deleting some of them, but others I can't for whatever reason. I've gone through my entire list and downloaded every one by themselves (or groups that require patches, etc) and they all allow me to start the game by themselves, but once I try to download everything, same crash. Always right around 120.

Yep, the new bundle. I had a few before, and right after the update and hotfix I ran it up to 204 doing a stress test and it ran fine. Played for a few hours and then decided to buy the CC bundle. After I downloaded it, ctd after going to start screen. I figured it was a space issue, because I only had less than 1 mb of free space with the 204 installed. So I cleared everything, completely removed everything from bethnet, and uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Then started this same death loop, with some stuck in my library. I haven't tried it without installing the CC bundle yet, that's on my agenda today.

Yep, uninstalled the game and all of the add-ons. Cleared reserved space and all save data from everywhere first. Then cleared cache as well as unplugged the damn Xbox for 15 minutes...lol. As soon as I load it all back up, they're back in my library. They show unsubscribed on bethnet, so I have no clue.

havent tried that yet on fallout(tho from the sound of the announcement we all will have to test this out when the storage space for mods increases) but anyways since this mod menu is very similar to Skyrim and Starfield, on Starfield and Skyrim the redownload LO option would indeed redownload all ur mods but not in the 100% correct order

Just a random question, what do you guys think about the "institute weapons" creation?
Is there a Fallout 4 sorting mod for DEF_UI That doesn't add brackets. Maybe I'm just not understanding how to properly utilize DEF_UI. With the Anniversary update, using FIS currently isn't possible. The icons could overwrite any brackets; however, there isn't an item sorting mod that utilizes them all. I'm not a fan of the brackets for sorting. The main thing I'm after is just proper naming of items that flow better and categorize them easier, and when I look at items it tells me what resources they have. There is a simple mod that does this, but it also has not been updated for the Anniversary update. That is HUD Plus Plus. DEF_UI has icons for all items, but there isn't a sorting mod that uses them all. They seem to opt for brackets for some items instead, or am I just missing something? I guess on the bright side this will force me to have to memorize the junk items components again. Good for the memory.
Update: I figured it out. I started a new game using the DEF_UI and Bhaals Better Sorting and it is giving me the outcome I am seeking. I imagine the suggested sorting mods for DEF_UI would do so as well if updating the file inside the mod organizer. Bhaals Better Sorting has its own interface settings, as with DEF_UI, to adjust different features of the mods; eg, the brackets and stuff, within the mod organizer tool. Changing the settings of the sorting mod is possible through the mod organizer interface if available. I am also using the DEF_UI Iconlibs atm. I'm not sure if that makes a huge difference yet, but starting a new game showed that it was a conflict from all the different sorting mods I was messing around with that playthrough. I also solved the initial bracket "bug" sticking around by sleeping in game past 7 days to allow all assets to resets, as long as they aren't permanent loaded assets like the dead body outside of Sanctuary with the dead dog.
In the Junk tab, there’s a button you can press to show the Component List. As for the icons and DEF_UI, I don’t believe there are any updates for AE.
What's neat about these three mods is that when you look at an item it shows the components underneath the item, or off to the side. Kind of cheesy, but it can be a nice feature to have. Maybe they will add it as a settings option in future Fallout games. It's like a survival/difficulty adjustment feature. Not to be bound by those choices, but by a setting toggle instead.

If you pause the game and look under creations it will tell you in the menu, though I think there’s lists online too
"ALL PLATFORMS" is just tied to the total number of likes (and downloads for mod authors) on each platform. "Available for" is tied to the icon, I only see the Xbox icon.

Well my report is for the Creation the Scorched Sierra Paint, the Scorched Sierra Power Armor Left Arm, and when in a Power Armor station it says "you don't have the Requirements to repair this item" and then it shows nothing that is required to repair it. and i see people experiencing the same issue as well.

Glup isn't changing anything with the files, he's just porting them exactly as they are, so you might have to upgrade to ps5 to access these, they said there is a chance ps4 might fix in the future, but it's highly unlikely, unless you are OK with the meshes and textures missing

Since the update I have some quest dialogues failing. I'm wondering if its because the dialogues target the player by ID rather than as an alias?
The syntax I used, I thought it was a built in function that would return the current (runtime) ID of the Player. But maybe it returns an absolute value of an ID?
(I know I should have used an alias. I did try, but couldn't get that to work, so I cut corners and used the ID).

OK I found a much simpler explanation. The AE update resets the ini file to defaults. This affects many things, and one of those many things is: turning off subtitles. My dialogue was only subtitles.
When they are split it usually means they have some property that is different, despite having the same name. Could that apply here?

Did some house cleaning. Creations Noir Penthouse Repair Kit and the obsoleted version of the Boston Airport PRP Lite mod have been deleted along with a pair of dev creations while testing fixes for the unofficial patch (Far Harbor related). All other creations are still up.

Right click the forms in the Object Window and choose Use Info to follow where things are used on other forms.

With the new creations menu, you need double the space of the mod in order to download it. It doesn’t take up double space once downloaded but you need that amount.
Is it possible to get rid of the line static effect that happens when you bring up the pip hud inside of power armor? I've been messing around with Archive2, but the files I adjust end up crashing the game. I'm guessing I have to make a modded version of the file and load it up with MO2?
Anyone having issues with virtual workshop not installing? I disabled all my mods until they straighten things out, and went to my vanilla save with the cc content. But my save says the vr workshop isn't installed, nor does it install when I install all owned creations, and when I manually download it it won't enable. Not necessary to play my save, but another new issue since the AE update.

Wish they would just make sure that the library was synced across consoles with the Bethesda net website. Or at least a way to remove and add mods to your library on console without downloading them, the way bookmarking works, hell even a download all bookmarked would be nice, as bookmarks are the only thing that seems to be semi consistently syncing across the console and website.
Honestly what they need to do as well to improve the creations menu and user interface is to remove all CC content from showing up on my Library when there's already a CC tab dedicated to it. Compromising 150 + mods that I can see at a time in my library.

To be fair the sync has improved hugely with AE compared to NG. Of course before NG the sync was so good I never noticed any differences. NG was a train wreck for sync - at exactly the time we needed it most of course.
Maybe read the room here as you are asking this repeatedly and getting no reply. Not sure if you are aware but there is a major situation going on at the moment and all of the mod authors are focused on that. Maybe ask again when things are back to normal. That could be a few weeks from now or longer. It's a helpful community but priorities are elsewhere right now.

Sometimes settlement changing mods have extended settlement borders added within. This causes odd things to happen if you additionally have settlement borders extended. Thoroughly read every land altering and settlement altering mods you may have.

The quest won't pop up anymore, just walk down to the superduper Mart and check out the trucks on the road near by, if you get jumped by power armor you're there

Question for other Xbox modders. Is anyone else currently having issues installing more than 46 creations at a time? I was filling out my LO for a little mod testing before the 100gb update, and noticed I could only have 46 mods installed. If I downloaded another, it outright deleted one of my mods at random to make space for the new one. I tried several different times to get around it, but to no luck. Is anyone else having this issue?

If this continues you need to delete the reserved space if you are on console and then your mods will be gone and the game restored.
You gave almost no useful information so it’s tough to tell how to help you. If you are a teenager, it’s helpful to give lots of detail when technical issues happen and you have to speak to engineers to solve them just in general forever.

@plain lodge this has been happening to me as well after I “download” all of the CC items from the Creations menu. I’ve had to rebuild my LO about 4 times over the last two days.
Unfortunately, if you’re on console, the only way you can get back in is if you clear your reserve space and rebuild your load order.
I’m doing some testing right now but I have a feeling it’s from downloading CC items from the Creations menu. It could be a conflict with another mod you’re using but it’s going to be almost impossible to pinpoint it.
You might be able to do that with the fallui series, you can customise the hud quite a lot

Armors, add specials in a specific combination per name -new names are: Super (or Super Friendly), Suave, and Ardent
Weapons: the one that is on the Devotion gun, it is called True, and Radborn’s. Radborn was originally intended for the Skyrim dark joke trailer but I left it off because it was more humorous to me as a legendary non legendary item, and just script injected it instead. It adds weapon attack damage against Deathclaws.
I think it’s 50% damage. But I’ll need to double check that.
And are the armor pieces near the new locations or are they placed elsewhere.
They’ll appear on legendary enemies randomly if you’ve not disabled getting legendary enemies in your game.
There are some players who don’t like the magical enemy mutations so use mods to disable such things.

There’s one that’s just a visual story with extra loot and a power core. That one will be getting a face lift in the next update. After I published it, I got a better idea for the story found there.

Ah I never run into an enclosed space near there. My first run on that location had me warned thoroughly before I had a chance to make that mistake.

I recently realised that by chance (and with some fantasy) I have a neat theme going for my current selection of weapons mods. For almost all of the weapon mods I am using, there is either a vanilla weapon that you can see as its predecessor or as its successor
The ones at the bottom I am not completely sure how to fit in there. And also this theme leaves a lot of vanilla weapons that I need to find a predecessor/successor variant for.
If you run in panic from Corvega (been there done that) you can easily find yourself at Carhenge where there is a behemoth.
Oh on that run I hadn't even made it to the corvega factory. I was just entering Lexington when behemoth came right around the building into my face. I had been heading into Lexington from Concord just after the Minuteman quest there.

This is my first time playing survival and with mods, but whenever I try to go up to Salem naturally, without going and visiting the rest home and the museum, and teleporting straight there into the cell, Barney rook does not even appear in the quest doesn't even trigger.

Yes, as long as they aren't resaved in the current CK, they'll be fine. That's effectively what I did when reverting the navmeshes back to what UFO4P 2.1.9 had.
I wouldn’t to Unreal. The models aren’t owned by you and Unreal isn’t modeling software, it’s another game engine. Blender is fine since it’s modeling software.
Filing a new known issue for the locals. The bunker homes CC has a small conflict with my PRP mod, as the latest build precombines the blocker reference that without the CC, normally prevents you from entering one of the interiors, but gets disabled by the CC. This will be fixed in Build 81 through the dynamic disable system.

Not at this immediate time as I'm waiting for the upcoming patch to drop that may make improvements to enable full PRP upload to bethnet, as I've pretty much froze any bethnet uploads at this time until the last of the patch issues shake out.
Even then, the patch would only address the precombine/previs side of the changes that PRP covers (landscape merge/fix and the mentioned conflict)
I read your post about the Navmesh issue and I have some questions. Currently I only have navmesh in my mod in a custom worldspace. It was navmeshed prior to the updates both to the game and to CK - and I've now updated both to their current versions. I do not have any CTD or issue. Is this because my mesh is my own and not working off one of the base game's? IE I'm not editing a prexisting navmesh? Because so far as I can tell, I am unaffected, but I don't want to be sitting on a potential sleeper issue that will rear its head down the line. How can I tell if I have the issue outside of the obvious CTD (that I'm not having.)
I should note, the mod has been resaved in newest CK - BUT I'm also using CKPE.
How do I rename an item? Is that a quick file change or do I have to do it in the creation kit thing?

It's possible that new navmeshes won't be affected but then the only way you'd be able to tell if they had been is to compare a copy of the mod made before the November 10 CK update to one that was saved after with the new CK and see if the cover triangle information has been altered without you doing anything. It may very well be that only edits to existing vanilla navmeshes are a problem, but that's still a pretty big problem.
Some of the locals around CKPE dev are looking into it, and I'm of the opinion that it's the EXE causing it, not the CK, but remains to be seen.
100% it is, I hope Bethesda can hammer that out and not leave us hanging like the stutter bug.

I think it has to be the CK because there were obvious changes to the data on every navmesh the UFO4P had edited and I didn't make those changes.
Except the problem with that is that the older CK releases make the same changes as the cover records get resorted for some unknown reason.
Plus I've repeated the issue by doing nothing more than loading the patch into the CK and saving it. The freeze issue at the location comes back when I do that.
