TES: Blades is great! I like the separate loadout ideas seen here! Added to the ideas, 3 modes of 5 loadouts: (A) Quest Map/Events/Daily Jobs; (B) Abyss; (C) Arena. The theme of 5 remains balanced, however, more inventory can be seen with a loadout icon when using the town shop interface, less worries of selling something along with expanding enjoyability.

Over the last two days I spent 1210 sigils on Imbuement daggers and I did not get a single one that is good.
Why are there still no ultimate sigil weapons for light weapon players?
There are at least 5 perfect heavy weapons and at least 5 perfect versatile weapons
But there is not a single perfect light weapon.
The only one they gave us is the Witsplinter, which is about the dumbest weapon you can have.
This is ridiculous.
11 Imbuement daggers
11 transcendant gems
22 glorious gems
44 grand gems
but any punk can go buy two different skins of the same perfect heavy sword
So dumb

Add in 1,089 frost salts and 462,000 gold wasted on this endeavor. Not to mention all the time spent grinding to get the sigils, gems, salts and gold.

For anyone having the same question as me in the future:
This game is not playable without having Google play services installed. If you use MicroG or anything else as a replacement it will not work. I've also created a support ticket for a workaround. There's none.
So this may save some time for anyone asking the same thing.

I tried that before - problem is if you do it fast bloomin’ enchanters tend to give the same combo again and again This time I spread 3 daggers in 3 days and today got one good( Shock, 15 shock and - max magicka)

I have noticed that too, and one of my guildmates ( @storm canyon ) has some theories about the RNG as well.
Having two toons -
SOMETIMES if I enchant something on Bobba, switch to Boogie and enchant the same thing within 1-2 minutes of each other, they will come back with exactly the same secondaries. Which blows a fat hole in the "random" of RNG.
The enchanting/crafting in this game is so punishing and demoralizing to many players. If the enchantment odds are NOT truly random, then the devs got splainin to do, cuz I've pumped out buh-zillions of enchantments with faith that the result actually are random.
If there are specific days or times of day that enchantments are weighted a specific way, well that's dirty pool.

If ANY day or ANY time has different odds at all, then the system is straight broken and we have a problem. It's bad enough we have to contend with the paper-cups-and-string that passes for arena servers.

@queen spire 3 of the 11 daggers I enchanted did get the exact same bonuses, but they were not sequential. I'm more upset that there is just no other option for a light weapon player since they just won't put an ultimate weapon in the store for us. Meanwhile, any tourist can do sigil events for 6 weeks and get a perfect breaching weapon without enchanting anything. And then a perfect frost weapon. And then a perfect poison weapon. and then another perfect breaching weapon. And then another another perfect breaching weapon. Oh and also a perfect fire weapon.
And then a casual versatile player can get perfect shock, frost, poison, frost again, fire and did I miss anything, all without ever visiting the enchanter.
But a light weapon player has to put up with paying 10 times as much or more, and still is not guaranteed even one perfect weapon.
And that's the hottest of hot hot garbage.

if you haven't already, i would try uninstalling then reinstalling the game and logging in with a different account to isolate if it is an issue with your account or not. Accounts are free so you can always make a new one. If it still doesn't work then work the ticket route. Is anyone else using iOS experiencing the magic and skills engaging at lower sensitivity than before the 1.23 update? This includes PvE and PvP. About the same latency, not taking about lag, see magic or ability ready but not activating as anticipated, keeps clicking like still in cooldown.

Finished quest line, as free player, average 40h of game with out forcing at all, player lvl 46, town lvl9, was fun, as old player of ES i'll have enjoy to have tavern in my town with bard and drunken men for bared hand fight, the thief guild and murderer guild on ending quest line could have been sweet too but for phone game well that was awesome, and you can still dev patch to allow an outskirt of the town with all that (tavern, farm, lumbermill, guild and even more) an opportunity to kill the river snake and not only his lieutenant, more dragon Hunt, Killing the talmor to set free cyrodil, way to become mayor jarl of that town you invest all your gold to rebuild... But yes i know that is a phone game 😁and from all game i had on my phone and from far that is the best rpg but could we have expect less from bethesda than being the best...

Since the last update to TES Blades, I have to spam the buttons more and more. The touch screen tapping makes the click noise at the right time but no action happens. Random delay in both menus and combat. Simple things like back out arrow of the challenge screen has resulted in click click click tapping, not the typical action with a smooth response. More on the tap accuracy, the magnify glasses are more difficult to open in the menu and having to tap tap tap like the zone is smaller now to get accurate virtual buttons to engage. Using updated iOS, iPhone 11.

I have to chime in and say, I agree. This is actually a nice mobile game (and that's coming from someone who hates them).

I have two comments:

• Fix the controls. I keep trying to move the joysticks but they don't show up. Perhaps a fix to this is to have an option to have them be showing at all times?
• More exploration/adventures. This game is reminding me of Warframe in the days before they had open world maps. Perhaps have an update for an open world map? Would that be too much for a phone?

Elder Scrolls Blades is a great game. It is definitely player vs player focused though with Elder Scrolls style. Seems like a lot of players want more content within Blades but there is also Elder Scrolls online and Skyrim that cover those realms. Blades does have some quests and content like this but it's more geared towards building an end game player to fight others online one on one in the Arena. It's very challenging and fun! Everyone can choose the same builds and equipment, but they vary greatly making the game incredibly dynamic. Many people become upset with Blades but not everyone can "win" Blades like the other Elder Scrolls. There is a top 100 leaderboard and only 100 players can rank there each season. It seems to frustrate a lot of players but in my opinion makes it the absolute most challenging Elder Scrolls title that there is. It's great fun to me and completely free. I agree additional content would be an improvement but I'm way happier with this game than I expected to be

TES Blades is great. I enjoy the combat interface and progressing for two years. The quests were good but after lvl exp 50 preparing for arena became the focus. Took months to figure arena out well. Got continuous help and support from guild members. I remain active as Blades is entertaining grinding the abyss or quests for materials along with climbing the tiers of arena.

They don’t have third party ads, which is great. But the pop ups for in game items can crash your game, which is very annoying

An ad would be something that draws attention to so there are some ads but not in the spam random way that leads to 3rd party links or suggestions. The ad or notifications more precisely in context to internal attention drawing in Blades draws attention to their internal shop or event quests coming up or dates of things such as arena season dates coming to reset point.

I am glad they resolved yours! I have the same exact issue but have given up after working with Bethesda multiple times. It’s weird I defeated the final quest but there are still 3 “unfinished quests” listed so I still have Hendrix not Stakki (sp?) and so on. It’s frustrating, I’m glad they got you taken care of.

Interesting. Did not know that. I only have the before match making hiccups taking too long compared to everyone vs one individual. But the lag ping is vs anyone but definitely not always. Some favor being laggy but, not always, and only one, SMT, with delayed match making.

If there is a buffer that extends extra long a patch to not complete the match making would be preferable in my opinion.

Stun-Me-Twice an arena opponent, for me the extended match making is consistently extra triple long and I have guessed it was going to be him and was correct numerous times then the most lag anyone in arena history from one opponent occurs after that. Also between rounds is twice or triple long after the timer and can’t emote after a match, shows ending screen then skips to rewards without any emote options. And can’t see my weapon moving too vs SMT. If I hit him can hear it only half a match. And is just SMT with the delay match making, triple lag, and no ending emote options. SMT is good but it is completely obnoxious to match with such signs it is going to be a one way communication experience.

kind of late for that. we've been asking for meaningful updates for awhile and outside of the sigil events, we got nothing, but now sigil events are dull and repetitive.

arena is cool but again... we have no players so we are forced to play internationally which makes someone host the match causing the other play to lag horrendously. i hear a lot of complaining about who lags whom but the reality is we all do it to each other. yes some lag us more than others but you are egregiously mistaken if you think you don't lag another person more than they lag you.

This game has been a lot of fun for me, but could use some connection updates. Maybe a few things. I get lags and so do others so it seems to balance overall.

But also to players, stop making extra characters and killing off new players people!!!!
Let new players actually get some fair fights in the arena and they will keep playing!
Also stop taking multiple places on the global leaderboard! Seriously players complain and quit over it every single season, and new players think this whole game is all new content, which is actually really fun when you start, so this is really an issue. If the devs invested a lot here would it be worth it?

I’m not gonna gift cups to noobs, or anyone for that matter. But what I will do is help whoever asks by teaching them how to play.

Yes I do. I always stop playing early with him and just use him to help new players joining the guilds. If I matched anyone more than once then I gifted them back. Anyway it's just my last season so I thought I'd give you all some good advice. The leaderboard is overrun with double characters right now and it's only these people doing it that think it's okay. There are no compliments to give people who do this, or are there any players I know playing that respect it. I'm sure people who do it don't care or else they wouldn't do it though but what does that say? I've always been into sports though so video games probably don't have the same values but this just seems very Tonya Harding. Not to mention it drives all new players away so just offering advice to not your kill your game off.

Yeah you shouldn't do that either good point. Who did that? New players are dropping off the game at astonishing rates and it's probably not whoever gave rounds to new players, whoever that was? Not me, I explained what I do with my alt who is already retired for the season. New players don't join top guilds with large trophy and building requirements, nor do they get any help or inspiration to continue playing from them. There are close to half a million, to one million new downloads every year in this game Where do all the new players go? I just explained it. New players don't continue playing because of arena harrasers. These aren't top players or champions doing it either, they are simply cowards who hide with their main accounts and kill the population off. No grand champion has ever done this, or any player even close to it. Many are making low level alts with full powered enchantments and killing off the lower arena. We just had yet another example of this earlier this week. I'm annoyed by them even though they only attack me with their second characters because they can't kill me with their main accounts. They hound the arena until they get that one lag win to derank the players that give them trouble. All of which is not exciting to new players and even makes veterans quit

Ya I don’t believe there is much of a problem with arena other than a few bug fixes are in order and the trophies are a punishment system. 300+ cups away from someone else has a 40+ for a loss and +1 vs most the field. I think that is unfair as that also translates across the entire spread of opponents with differing counts. Makes the experience not as fun. I don’t understand why not have arena with more generous gains and less punishment for the field.

Getting to endgame takes some doing. It takes even more doing to do it twice on two different accounts. For the most part, the active players do a pretty good job of finding the new players when they come to Discord or Reddit and ask for help - but there are probably many more players who just hit a wall and quit.
**Frankly, the devs should just direct new players to join Discord or Reddit and join the community. ** In-game.
As far as I have seen, the top Arena guilds mostly do a pretty good job of mentoring new players that join. We have "feeder" and "training" guilds for just that reason. They get access to our knowledge base, they get to learn from the vets who have been around.

Well the character I've had for 3 years hasn't even played as much as one of those characters. I've always been around to help too.
Here is an analogy we used to give married couples in counseling that seems to apply here as well. It's about love. If you love something then treat it like an ice cube in your hand. Like most players in this game, we play the game much less often. No one thinks it's cool to push someone off of the leaderboard entirely to take 2 spots unless they do it. That isn't working hard to do good and achieve success. It's just an example of people overdoing it and ruining it for others, then admitting to not care and blame the game somehow. A lot of Elder Scrolls games have a common theme of good and bad karma. They are written and produced by brilliant artists who captivate us with prophetic insights to the human psyche through fantastic lore and character development. Maybe not notable software programming, but good people that deserve credit for making great games

New players are not leaving because of lack of updates. Small handfuls of veteran players leave for that reason. The majority of players are newer, and all the content is still a new update

Let's just say from my perspective. I have a alt that wears 2 pieces of filled tempered gear. And has crap rings. With sigil weapons sure.. I play him as a mage . And I play about 500 matchs a season on him . He loses about as much as he wins . . Then I have my original character. That has fully tempered gear. Tons of gear at his disposal. And I play about 175 matchs a season on him .

Thunderfell is the top enchantment and Stormcaller is lesser enchantment. Less shock and bonus damage. Stromcaller is something to avoid as could save a few more sigils for the top version Thunderfell after leveling a little more.

In the ticket they say they're gonna delete all your data and progress, but after they did it nothing was deleted, so safe to say it was unlinked successfully. It was strange though that I've never owned a switch nor logged into one, how would it be linked already? Easier to spam buttons than it is to tap the screen IMO. I see this as an advantage in timing, especially if I’m spamming the buttons before the skill or spell lights up. You know what I mean? Like there’s a delay on the visual and the skill/spell is available even if it isn’t lit up yet so you can get to it faster with a button IMO. Still early to tell but it sure feels that way. Doesn’t matter right now for me though I keep hitting the wrong buttons lol 😂

Anyone can just jump in arena and practice. It's just a good fun game. Pvp can be stressful I suppose. I probably wouldn't play an unranked arena more myself when I can just get in the arena and go up and down. I always get beat by a lot of players but it makes it more fun for me too

It's honestly not as bad as we make it sound sometimes. The guilds are great. They add extra content to the game. Every player will suggest to find and join a top 100 guild for advice and extra crafting materials to become better and have more fun while playing. Having friendly members and fun chats is important to me. Conversations arise about bugs and stuff but many are not confirmed. Just the nature of a competition can bring forth frustrations. Some things like a critical strike bug occurs where a critical strike merely registers as a lower damage strike, which can be seen in many videos. Or an ice spike will do more than enough damage to cause a stun but the stun will not occur. It's good practice to screen record matches to see what exactly happens. Definitely join a guild and seek more info and hope you enjoy playing. I've really enjoyed the game myself

Is a great time with event quests and arena and abyss. The guilds are great. Can be interactive. Find a guild that has an opening and interesting guild description to you, meet criteria, and apply.

It's mostly end-game players that have legitimate complaints about the game - those of us who have invested lots of time, effort and yes, money. There are some notable issues that seriously need to be fixed. But for the casual player, the game is "good enough" for what it is.
The biggest problem is that the game has a truly amazing combat system, with an awesome PvP component that you just don't see in other mobile games, but the Arena is marred by some pretty awful server issues that have remained unaddressed for years. It's SOOOO CLOSE to being a truly incredible game, but needs a little love from the developers to get it over the hump.

Honestly I had to uninstall the game because I couldn't continue the Main quest. Reinstall didn't fix the issue . . .
Way before in the early game I had a bug where I coulnd't accept that the Townhall upgrade is ready. SEVERAL reinstalls fixed it finally but I had to change the acc completely which ess pretty edgy to do since it showed me no Option anywhere to change Accounts. Had to out Lots of effort into that. Kinda sad cus it was a fun game and I would have loved to play through with the story but it was too bugged (im talking from a time around 1 year ago btw i'm not sure if anything mayor was changed, but as we are talking about Bethesda i guess it is in the same crappy zone as in the beginning 💀💀)

I have a question bethesda just can't seem to answer - I started playing on switch, and want to crossplay the same account on my android device. I linked my Nintendo account on bethesda website. As many players are aware, geographical distance between you and your opponent can cause significant lag in PvP matches.
Since Bethesda is not likely to do anything about it, GGs is going to be promoting "Prime Time Arena" sessions for different geographic regions, to encourage players in similar areas to match with each other more often and improve their Arena experience.

NOBODY IS TELLING YOU WHEN TO PLAY OR WHEN NOT TO PLAY.

But we WILL be encouraging each other to play more often during the 2 hour window established for your region.

This should lead to everyone getting a higher percentage of low-lag matches, and should improve the arena experience for everyone.
North/South America: Weeknights from 8PM-10PM EST (UTC-4)

As you know I play only on switch.
I am using the PowerA Controller. I don't have button delay. And lags I have not more than other players.
The overhead swing is not possible on switch as far as I know. Blocking is very hard to learn yes, but attack cancle can be simple, if you got the right controller. 😉

On the screen on ur phone u can move ur finger in which high u will attack... on the switch u have an area where it works and this area of attack will always go to the block of ur opponent or will make damage. On the phone the highest position of ur finger on the screen is an overhead swing
